This trowel or in my term mini shovel is a lot bigger than expected, from just seeing the images alone I thought it was gonna be small but it's actually perfect for my hand size and can get some good area. Very happy overall with it's sized and feel or grip.

Pry out dandelions and wild strawberries, roots and all. Works better if the soil is dry.

Call it what you want, hand shovel, trowel, plant digger... The point is the other half loves it. She has upgraded from your super-cheap Daiso trowel to this well-built Fiskars trowel. It digs, it transfers, it does everything you want a hand shovel to do in your average garden. I will upgrade her to a forged trowel if she manages to break this one in a few years. But so far, Fiskars products have not disappoint.

I have many Fiskars products and I have been pleased with each one. I expect this purchase to be the same. I'm tired of inexpensive trowels where the handles break off from the metal part. This one is so sturdy and I haven't had any problems yet with it. Due to other reviews having a breaking problem, I will definitely update this review if that happens. This trowel is comfortable and was a great price!

This is a very comfortable yet sturdy trowel. I have bent many of these in the past because the dirt in my beds is quite compacted and clay-like. This one holds up to the task and the handle shape allows the heavy use without bruising the palm of my hand. I have never been disappointed by Fiskars brand and would recommend this.

It's a nice size - blade on the larger size width-wise, which was what i was looking for. i don't like working with a skinny trowel. This one is perfect for me. Seems comfortable, and works in the ground very nicely. I'd recommend this to any home gardener.

Nice handle, fits perfectly at the palm of your hands. Perfectly weighted and best of all no grommets to rust off.

Unless you are using this as a prybar you wont be bending or breaking this. Lead concerns have been overplayed. My grandmother ate lead-shot ducks and pheasants her whole life and lived to be 101.

The shovel is nice and durable but not good for digging a shallow grave to hide a body. Great for flowers though.

Went to Home Depot and they had 2 options. I bought the cheaper one and it broke in 10 minutes. Not even a product they should have had in stock. Searched through most of the trowels on Amazon and this seemed to be the best for the price. Upon receiving it, I found that it was very sturdy and comfortable to use. Ended up putting it through a lot of strain and only differences are that its shiny metal is heavily scratched.
