This was a perfect match for my 2005 Nissan Altima in Smoke Grey. I painted the driver door handle and the driver mirror cover. The door handle does not look repainted. It looks completely factory. This worked great and was much cheaper than other painting options. Here is the method I followed: -Sanded unpainted part with 180-220 grit sandpaper. -Removed all dust with a lint-free cloth -Cleaned the part with grease and wax remover -Applied 4-6 coats of paint to the part, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats -Waited 30 minutes after final coat -Applied 4-6 coats of perfect match automotive clear coat, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. -Let parts dry for 48 hours -Sanded with 1500 grit sandpaper -Used a drill and sponge buffer pad (could do by hand) to apply automotive polishing compound (meguire's) -Wax Admire the shine. Good luck.

Great product - although only 8.5 oz - so order the number of can accordingly My situation - 2001 GMC Yukon XL - body side molding - stupid silly money to replace with original - so why not spend 8 bucks!! They say the proof is in the performance - so I'll attach some pictures - but it's simple prep, prep, prep - for me I used the blue painters tape to tape off the "chrome" inserts - then made 3-4 passes to ensure no runs or drips Hopefully I will not have to, but I'll order this again if necessry

I tried scratch remover creams, scratch repair kits but nothing would fill in the discoloration caused by the super minor scratches on my back bumper. I was nervous this would not be the correct color but after a few searches on google I found the pewter metalic matched my ky7 color code for my altima. This spray worked amazingly and was the EXACT match. Just be sure to research the color because a lot are similar. (a lot of people said the colors were off in reviews) I also had purchased a paint pen version, with the wrong color 'coral sand metallic' color; it was super similar but not exactly right, so research is key. I am so happy I finally fixed the back of my nissan. Note to buyer: you will need to purchase a clear coat separately

Ordered this paint for my son's college car. I ordered a replacement bumper cover for my son's 2006 Mazda 3 (Color code 16W) due to a minor fender bender and they wanted $330 to paint it at the body shop. Being this was on a college kids car I was not interested in paying $80 more to paint it than the part costs so I decided to give this a try. If it sucked too bad for him, he has no money he would have to tough it out. Luckily this paint worked like a dream. It is not an exact match but it is close enough that you have to really look more than a glance to tell. I warmed up the garage, put down a drop cloth, followed the painting instructions on the bumper (sanded with 1500 grit and cleaned) and put on 2 coats of the base color. The cans are only 8 ounce and it took slightly more than 1 can. Caution: If you let the can run low it may start to spit and not spray evenly. Get 2 cans and be careful. After the base coats I used the dupli-color clear coat. 2 coats of this and I was done. The clear coat (use 2 cans as well) took some effort to get it on evenly and thick enough without running. I got a couple haze spots near the headlights due to the different angle. I will go back and reapply in spots. I will not lie and say it is show room, new car perfect because it is a spray can for crap sake and it just can't be perfect, but it is pretty good for a spray can paint job on a college kids car. Net savings over going to a body shop - $300

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY AFTER READING ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PAINT BEING CHUNKY AND DRIPPING EVERYWHERE--- DO NOT REMOVE THE LITTLE WHITE TAB ON THE NOZZLE! THAT IS THE REASON IT WILL SPRAY LIKE THAT. I was about to give up on the paint and went to stick it back in before shelving it and noticed it had a small hole on it. Stuck it back in - and voila - perfect spray! This paint in Ford Amazon Green was a perfect color match for my 1995 Ford Explorer. Please note this is the Emerald Green Explorer, not the Forest Green that has a blueish hue. I will post a couple pictures - the garage remote is the best color example picture as the one with the accesories against the car's hood is tinted blue from the lights (this picture was just to show the car and paited pieces together). Very good quality paint. I did not use this to spray paint any of the cars body, but would imagine a clear gloss of some sort would be a must to match perfectly all around. I used this for my amp casing, key fob, key top, and garage remote. They all look great!

Actually a really good match (so far). All metallic paints are hard to match. Feathering into existing paint requires a really fine touch and some practice. I had to redo the same area 4 times before I figured out how to feather well. Always work outside where you primed and make sure it's smooth. Light coats work much better than heavy coats. To do a small area took me about 6 hours before I did the clear. Follow the directions carefully. One suggestion: DO NOT SAND BEFORE CLEAR COAT! (first picture) I made that mistake once. The color will not match. This is because of the metallic nature of the paint itself does not lend well to wet or dry sanding before clear coat. The second picture is without sanding but before clearing.

Perfectly matched the paint on my 99 Pontiac Trans Am. For reference on how much paint you need, it would take probably 3 cans to do the front bumper of a Trans Am correctly and evenly. Not show quality paint, will need to finish with top coat, but looks great from a distance of say 8 or 9 feet back without the clear coat. Be careful buying this online, if Amazon is out of it or the price jumps, you would be a lot better off going down to Advance Auto. It surprised me but they had it in stock and was about 3 dollars cheaper.

This spray paint is exactly what I needed. It went on like a charm. If you know how to use spray paint then please disregard all the poor ratings. Spray paint needs to be shaken for more than a minute or two. You also need to spray 6 inches or so from the object being painted. I used 3 cans to paint a bumper cover for an 05 Prius. I put on 4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear coat. If you know what you are doing then it works great. If not then maybe you shouldn't be doing it.

So as you can see kinda backed up and scrapped the side pretty good lol After some sanding, cleaning with alcohol, this spray was perfect. Ye you can still see some bump in the light up close. But few steps back its awesome! Attached picture for before and after results! :) Thanks guys! God bless!
