I'm been RV'ing for almost a decade. Over that time I've owned several Drinking Water Hoses. This one is the best I've owned. The description states it is "heavy duty" and "20% thicker than standard hoses". I would agree with both of those statements. You can feel the quality - much better than the other two hoses that I carry (one is what I would call the standard CAMCO hose). Besides the '"No-Kink" features, the connections at both ends are high quality ... this one doesn't leak or seap water at either end. In summary: it's more expensive than the standard duty model, but I've owned this since 2016 and it still appears new near the end of the camping season in 2018. I'm confident this will last me many more years, thus in the end it will be less expensive than the standard duty model due to its durability.

This is a nice, heavy-duty potable water hose with machined end fittings, not the cheap rolled ones that are easily damaged and then leak. We've used this hose on several camping trips, and it doesn't impart any taste to the water like some hoses do. It really likes to stay coiled, tho. It comes rather tightly coiled up, and the hose takes a "set" until it's used. If the weather is hot, and it lays out in the sun, the "set" will come out of it. We're very satisfied with this as a water supply hose for our fifth wheel camper, and would recommend it. I just hope it doesn't grow legs and disappear at some campground!

Well, I really like it so far. My other hose got a leak where the female threaded fitting attaches to the metal crimped on piece of the hose (where it allows the fitting to rotate). This is common when the hose has been bent with a tight radius many times. This hose has the springs on either end. That is to prevent this type of leak from happening. This hose also seems to be fairly thick. I prefer my old 1/2'ID hose to this 5/8"ID hose because it insulates better. The OD of the insulation for both of them is the same, but the ID for the 1/2" is smaller, therefore it is thicker. It is just a small thing. I did manage to stretch my old insulation over this hose and it seems to be fine.

Well I really should of learned my lesson, This drinking water hose (used for RV) is perfect, it's very heavy duty. I have gone through so many hoses (full time RVer) from the cheap white one's to the flat roll up in there own holder (good idea but get pin hole links all the time) This hose is awesome as far as water hose's go. Save your self some money and just get this hose to start if your able to! You can see and feel the difference. This past winter I made a winter hose out of a 50ft and 25 ft of this hose. Wrapped it in tin foil, purchased some heavy duty all weather heat tape, applied the heat tape with electrical tape fastened every 6 inches so there was no bulges then wrapped the hole hose in black pipe insulation. The line made it through -25 degree nights!!! Honest to god truth!! (to bad our 5th wheel didn't) but that's another story.

I just bought a second one of these. It's designed to be used for drinking water, but I use it as a garden hose, (though my son does drink from it.) I don't see it in the product description, but I believe the machined ends are made from stainless steel. I say this because to be drinking water approved the metal ends must be FDA approved, and that means a special pre-approved version of stainless steel. The stainless steel end holds up better and can be wrenched apart without bending like the aluminum ends on cheap hoses. Plus, this hose is Made In The USA, so it will outlast the other hoses.

I bought this hose in 2016 and now just replacing it 3 years later. I originally bought it for my garden and I also liked the color and price. It did kink after the first year and that got worse over time. For the money I think it was worth it for a decent looking hose that doesn't look like an eyesore. I also like knowing it is safe drinking water that I am watering my vegetable garden with and not adding chemicals. Last time I bought 2 - 50 foot hoses and connected them. This year I am buying 4 so I have 100 feet on each side of the house. I also like that this hose is not as heavy as some of the other brands. My hoses are left out all year and I live in NC where we get everything from a lot of heat in the summer to snow in the winter. I left the hose on several times by accident and never had it burst. After this winter one has finally got a split in it. Like I said 3 years for the price, safe drinking water, a pretty color, and the weight being on the lighter side for this type hose is pretty good in my book.

Update: I had purchased TWO hoses (but Amazon only lets you write one review, even the the products are different sizes. My other hose was 25' and I finally went to use it yesterday, only to find out that the washer in it too, was defective. I had to replace it, just like the 10' hose, with a Gilmour Rubber Hose Washer. Now it also works perfectly. Just wanted people to know that it appears the washers that are installed on these hoses apparently have issues. Original review: I probably should have made it a 4 star rating, because I immediately had to pull out their hose washer as it was defective. It LOOKED okay, but it leaked horribly. Fortunately, I also purchased the 10 pack of Gilmour Rubber Hose Washers. I put in the new Gilmore rubber washer and bingo, it now doesn't leak even a drop. The reason I give the hose a 5 star review is simply because it doesn't stink, doesn't have lead in it, and therefore is FAR superior to MOST of the hoses sadly being sold in this country. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for lead to be allowed in hoses. (it's added to stabilize the cheap plastic) Lead will poison the soil the water is sprayed on. This should be against the law nationwide. Yet another failure of bad government regulations, or the lack of them! Interestingly, I noticed that water pressure appears to be higher using only a 10' hose. I can reach the far side of my lawn from the top of the yard now. With my old 25' hose, I was about 5' short of the bottom. (and yes, the old hose was the same size hose, diameter wise, but I suppose the real reason it could not squirt as far was all the kinks. :-)

Yeah man. I love these hoses. I bought a couple of them. Honestly, the water tastes like awesome spring water out of this sucker. Ice cold, I love it after mowing the lawn in the summer.. man, I really miss summer right now.. it's cold and snowy here, windy and sux. But anyway, I bought a couple 50 footers, jus so it's easier to disconnect, shorten, or extend however I want. The thing isnt kink proof, but it certainly doesn kink every dang time you pull it around somewhere. Very durable hoses so far. I havent had a single issue with them. I may buy another.. I'll tell you this.. if I buy another hose, It will be this one. I don't want no dirty, lead, unsafe hose. Even if you don't drink out of it, i don't want bad metal, or lead in my plants, or garden either.. or when kids are playing in the sprinkler drinking it. That's mainly why I bought this. Just want to be safe, and healthy, and what not. I got kids ya know.. n maybe i want a nice safe cold drink of water after i down a 6 pack mowin the lawn. It just is what it is. Packaging was good, and delivery was fast. I recommend this product to all :) Thanks!

Very thick durable garden hose. Made with quality material with solid ends, I bought this to replace my old cheap garden hose that was forever kinked and a nightmare to roll up. This hose is amazing for the price, after trying to find similar quality garden hose at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.. I found out I would have to spend alot of money to get one like this. After hooking it up and using it to water plants outside I let the hose sit with the water on and a closed spray nozzle on the end to build up pressure to see if it would burst or split. After 20 minutes of being fully pressurized it was solid, no leaks, splits, or bubbles. It is not completely kinkless, but it's close, I don't think any hose it 100% kinkless. Worth the money, and if I need another section of hose I will be buying a second one of these.

If you are looking for a short hose or a leader hose, this is the one to buy! Everything about this hose is fantastic. The end couplings are extremely well-made and heavy duty. Wire coils wrap the hose at both ends to keep it from bending or kinking, and the hose material itself is the best quality of any hose I've ever purchased. Some hoses are really flimsy but this hose wall is thick as well as being reinforced. I live in a state that has triple digit summers, and that heat is really hard on hoses, so I have to buy new hoses quite often, unfortunately, but this one seems like it will last for a long time. Plus it's drinking water safe, was less expensive than other leader hoses, and it's 10 feet long and most others are 5 to 7 feet long. You just can't go wrong with this hose!
