Purrrrfect pet fusion lounger๐ฝ๐ป๐บ๐น๐พ
Ok, I am a freak about my 2 Cats, like most of you are also. I spend a lot of $ on these guys because they are worth it and I'm a Single Chick in her late 30's with no kids. I guess you could only assume I spoil them rotten! I spoil them the best I can with trying to be somewhat frugile in my purchases and that's with their scratchers. I have never bought them one this Big. The most I have spent was $32 on one that looked like a tiny sleigh bed that Roger(in picture) fell off on time and time again. He is a Big Cat, a Big Lounger and loves to scratch since a kitten. This is Roger's world...This is only my world living in his and Rose(his sister) is outside playing. I don't know if I'll order the same one for her but I think I will purchase the white triangle & eventually the Biggest Pet Fusion Lounger, the white rectangle(my coffee table matches it perfectly)lounger. 2 favorite activities in one...LOUNGE & SCRATCH. I think Roger also realizes though that his Pet Fusion is not like the other scratchers he's had as this is for a King Cat and he needs to take better care of it!๐ Overall, I got this yesterday and I will now continue to buy their products! ๐ปI know it's the most expensive scratcher/lounger you ever will buy but I Promise it is worth every penny as I will never buy a Walmart or Petco cheapy again(plus they aren't made well & the cardboard comes off all the time & this was is SOLID & CLASSY) Your Cats will feel like a Lion or a Lioness to the extreme and it makes them feel more proud and they are more content with this product. Buy a Pet Fusion...Your world with your Pets.๐ธ๐บ P.S. I just went crazy lately with buying stuff on Amazon, mostly for my Cats so I really like reviewing these products because you can't rave like this on Yelp, as they are only for business's)

Worth it...
Kitty loves it! Never had a cat before, brought in a 10+ year old stray from my old apartment who I found out is FIV and Feline Leukemia positive but he is the sweetest cat ever and I fell in love with him so wanted to spoil him and bought him this. He loves it even more than I could have hoped. Spends several hours a day sleeping or just perched on it and hits it with his claws every time he jumps on. So adorable. Have had it for a couple months and it's held up really well. Cool that when the top is worn out I can just flip it over and it's like having a brand new scratcher again. He's a pretty big/long cat so I was unsure how well he'd fit on it but it's absolutely perfect. Will definitely be buying another if this one ever wears out!

Excellent product. I found a way to make it ...
Excellent product. I found a way to make it last twice as long with just a little effort!!! After it has seen its last days... slice it down the center and you will have 2 more pieces left. Hey... It's better than nuthin!

Buy 2 of them & push together - Great for TWO 25 pound Siberian Forest Cats
I have two 25-pound Siberian cats who love these lounges. We purchased 1 of these in May 2014 and they fought over it. We bought a 2nd one in June 2014 and pushed them together to form a wider lounge & they LOVE it. They can now lay on it together AND like to sleep on it "sprawled" out separately (See picture). It is slightly pricey for essentially a cardboard lounge chair, but for the amount of use we get out of it, it's worth the cost. We've had them for over a year now with daily use by our two huge cats- and they still look pretty good. The edges are a little rough from wear & tear, but nothing that has to be hidden when guests come over. As far as cleaning goes, they do attract quite a bit of hair (Again we have long hair siberians though). My secret is to use our Safari Slicker Brush and just "brush" the hair off it. It's faster than using the dyson to get all the hair off. I only do this about once a week and it works great. Note: When pushed together, they *DO NOT* align up perfectly - there is a slight gap (See pic), but the cats do not mind!

I hung them up as cat shelves, they're amazing even 1 year later!
Amazing. I bought mine over a year ago now for my cat. (I purchased two actually in January of 2014!) and my cats LOVE them. I have two cats, one we got as a kitten in July of 2014 & she has been just fine in keeping her claws because of this product. I really hoped to not have to de-claw and this product is amazing. She knows to scratch on it & has never scratched our nice furniture! I hung them up like shelves & the cats love to climb on high to hang out on them, sleep, stretch & survey the house. My friends don't even realize they're cat shelves until the cats jump on them! Fast forward over a year later & they're still in pretty good shape. Worth the money! I picked up some L brackets at home depot to hang them & they worked like a charm.

The middle part seems like a bit of waste
What a simple yet effective piece of furniture. My 3 month old loves to take naps in the little nooks of this thing. I take my kitty to the office everyday so this is permanently kept there. I used a couple 90 degree brackets to mount this on the wall right next to my desk. Worked out real well and my little girl just climbs up and jumps right into her little private spot several times a day. Recently, one of her playmates were visiting and they were both hanging out in a hole which was absolutely too cute not to take a picture of (included). She's starting to get a bit too big for the hole, considering it is closed off on one side since its up against the wall.... So when she jumps in, she has to struggle a bit more to turn around. I've noticed that she is starting to hang out on the top more often now and I think it's likely because of this reason. I'm probably going to take a saw to either side so that I can split this into two sections... The middle part seems like a bit of waste, so this way I can make two levels where she can still sort of hide in the lower part. I figure if the cardboard ever gets worn out, I now have a whole new two sides I can rotate to. You can definitely feel that the cardboard used is a higher quality than some of the other scratchers out there. I doubt it is going to get worn anytime soon and I'll likely get an easy couple years out of it. I love the design too... Really doesn't stand out too much and I have already had several people compliment it, not knowing that it was a cat scratcher. Fifty bucks is a bit much for some cardboard... But it looks good and it's probably going to last a while, so the value is definitely there.

My kitties love it.
The second "PetFusion Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge" was delivered, my cats took right to it! All five of them wanted to be on it or near it. So far, it looks like it will exceed my expectations. Feb 29th, 2016 - back to add to my review! My cats use this all the time. All five. I have one cat who has nail issues, and usually refuses to scratch anything, but he is using this like crazy, and his nails issue has improved so much in the short amount of time we've had this. Super amazing. I'll be back for more!

Strong, durable, aesthetic and the cats LOVE it!
We share our household with 6 cats and as all cats like to do ... they love to scratch. We go through plenty of those corrugated cardboard scratchers like the Cosmic Alpine Scratcher which has a much looser cardboard grain than this PetFusion lounge. I was a little leery at first because of the price of this scratcher. I wondered just how good could a cardboard scratcher actually be for $45 that would differentiate it so much from the $10-$15 options that I have been going for over the past 8 years or so. They love the cardboard, but our multiple cats go through the looser cardboard options so quickly and sometimes they do not get the resistance they need from the looser cardboard and will resort to using the couch to scratch and get the "manicure" they need (really just shedding the nail sheath). This is a necessity for our feline friends. When the PetFusion arrived, I was first struck by it's SIZE. I've posted a picture with one of my biggest cats who weighs about 20 lbs and is just a big boy, with large bones and length. Scooter is a feral cat and he has claws and massive strength. He is one of 6 cats who loves the lounger for both scratching and lounging. The quality of the cardboard used in the almost "furniture-grade" scratcher provides a great amount of resistance for that nail sheath shedding so that the kitty's don't feel the same need to mark and groom via scratching on a stronger piece of material. Outdoors, cats usually have trees to do this for them. To lure my two biggest couch scratchers (new couch, new habits), I used SmartyKat CatnipMist to make the scratcher immediately appealing. The scratcher does come with a baggie of catnip twigs (but none of my cats were remotely interested in this version of catnip and my cats are usually not picky ... but not a one liked it). Between the catnip mist and a little coaxing, I have redirected scratching to the new lounger where some of the cats are creating territories. The lounger is big enough to accommodate two of our cats and some of them like playing in the openings. We all liked the lounger so much within 2 days I ordered another one for the top floor of the house. The cats took to that one too. Our house is decorated in a more contemporary decor and this scratcher sits nicely next to our Noguchi Table and doesn't miss a beat. The item is reversible and I expect to get a good lifespan out of it. At very least 4 times what I would have with the cheaper cardboard scratchers. At that point, they have more than paid for themselves. Easy on the eyes, a furniture-saver and the cats love it. We are all happy campers. Update: 11 September 2012: I have found a way to extend the use of these scratchers (since I bought two of them so far). I find that if I cut them in half lengthwise with a hacksaw and use the inside surfaces it creates two scratchers and two great, fresh surfaces for our 6 kitties. They still lounge on the half-shape and it's a great way to extend the life. That said, I just ordered a new one today and am going to be cutting the second one in half and deploying it downstairs (I just had to throw away the two halves today because they had been scratched up). These are not cheap scratchers but they can sure take a beating. They can also have their life extended by sawing them in half and exposing the undersides. It's like having two brand new scratchers! Moms and kitties are happy :)

My favorite thing I've bought on Amazon to date
My favorite thing I've bought on Amazon to date! The glowing reviews prompted me to take a chance on Petfusion's Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge. It came with a tiny bag of catnip, but I never had to open it. When it arrived, I took it out of the box, and placed it on the floor. A quick scrape of my nails on it's surface, and my cat Dexter immediately came to investigate. He climbed on top, crawled through it's openings and spent the rest of the day "lounging" about on it. This is the only thing my cat has shown interest in other than affection, food, and treats. It's a real hit around here. I've taken to placing it at the foot of my bed at night so Dexter is tempted to sleep there. Each morning when I awake, there is my cat, sleeping at my feet. I will gift one of these to every cat lover in my life. Petfusion hit a homerun with these. I can't recommend it highly enough.
