I write a lot, and I put a lot of pressure on my fingers when I write. These grippes are perfect for relieving pressure on my fingers. The rubber grip is soft and comfortable. I believe it is beneficial for students and adults who have to write a lot.

After a parent teacher conference I learned that my son was having to write essays in every class, even P.E., and he was struggling with the workload. He was suffering from hand fatigue and had developed calluses. I talked to his pediatrician and she recommended these grips. I'm so glad she did! His handwriting has improved, he no longer complains of his hand or fingers hurting, and he's writing at a much faster pace allowing him to complete assignments within the allotted time. My other son is a lefty and he has no issue using it either. For pre-k and kindergarten aged children it's a bit too big for them, my four year old tried it out also, but he did like the soft squishy feel of the grip. An outstanding product. We will be buying more and making these a school supply staple.

You will thank your past self for buying these when you are on your 4th hour straight of writing up notes for your Bio final tomorrow and realize that your hand is half as tired as it should be. These are a godsend for marathon notetaking sessions. I am a fully able adult and I use and love these. Not even a little ashamed to be using a sparkly kids product in college lectures. I'm ambidextrous and it's 100% true that these can be used righty or lefty, though apparently they say you're supposed to rest the flat edge against your thumb and I flip it and put the curved edge against my thumb and flat edge against my forefinger. I have three on mechanical pencils, two on pens and I used to have another one, but my sister stole it and declared that she loves it and will not be returning it. The one Con: They get a little fuzzy in a backpack. Wash them off and you're good to go.

These guys are awesome! I was so excited to get my iPencil but when I tried to write & draw with it my RA prevented me from being able to do so with out dropping it so I went online looking for a better grip than the balled up rubber band I was using (without much success there either). I was amazed to find only a few choices the most popular costing nearly $25 for just 1. The others were more like a sleeve type design that covered the entire iPencil which I found would not be practical for me as I had bought a charging stand for mine & I would have to remove the sleeve each time I wanted to put my iPencil away. And even those cost $5+ for just 1!! The only other option was a $9 triangular type deal that didn’t look like it would be very helpful for my grip issue. So I decided to pit in pencil grip instead of electronic accessories and that where I found these guys!! They are a perfect fit & each one has an L & R on each side to show you how they go on & where a Lefty or Right handed person should grip. I can use my iPencil charger/stand with these & I got 6 all in cool metallic colors & cheaper than the price of 1 of the other options!!

I use these consistently with children who cannot form or sustain a tripod grasp (after trying other techniques). The Pencil Grip is easy to use....on each grip, an 'R' and 'L' are printed on the sides. The thumb of the writing hand goes on the side the letter is printed on. So, if you're a righty, your thumb would go under the 'R.' They get a bit gummy after sustained use, as the oils from the fingers will wear down the material. But one grip should last an academic year. Keep in mind The Pencil Grip makes standard and jumbo versions. I usually go with the standard for school-aged kids. Jumbo may be good for kids with high tone restrictions, or perhaps the elderly with severe arthritis.

Great and strudy but did not work for my 4year. I am still giving the product 5stars because they are excellent but my child just need I little more support. So if you have a young child who is not going to school and is just leaving to hold a pencil and you want him or her to develop a good tripod pencil grip then this isnt for your child. But if you child has an understanding of the grip but has to be reminded to hold his or her pencil correctly and can correct their pencil grip without assistance then this is an excellent choice.

I mainly bought these because I hold my writing utensil too hard (not sure why, just a subconscious thing), and it was coming to a point that my skin was taking a beating and it literally HURT to write. So I bought a few of these and I would definitely buy some more! They are long lasting and are just all around comfortable. If you have the same problem I do, or have exceedingly dry hands and are prone to skin tearing, snatch a few of these. Your hands will forever love you for it.

Very nice colors and works well. I am an adult and write during the day for work. I just wanted something that would be comfortable. It's a little big and will take some getting used to - but not in a bad way I am using it on a Pilot G2 and it fits fine - snug, with no slipping.

I use these on my work pens daily and they help me significantly with hand fatigue since I write a lot for work documentation and suffer from carpal tunnel. I work with children & have recommended these to parents quite frequently. They are soft (and "Squishy!!" to the delight of the kids I work with), and I have found that my kiddos who complain about writing find it easier to do with these soft grips. Plus you get a pack of 6, which is a great deal for a quality product. (They can attract some lint depending on how you carry them, but are easily cleaned!) Take a look at the "Pencil Grip Writing CLAW for Pencils and Utensils" if your child is having trouble with proper pencil grip - it helps teach a proper tripod grasp since it actually holds the fingers in the proper position and comes in varied sizes. 😊

As a teacher, I used these with all my children, not just the ones with small motor control challenges. The occupational therapist I worked with recommended them. They help the hand hold the pencil in proper writing position. This time I ordered them for my nephew who is having trouble learning to write. He was thrilled and eager to use all the colors, one after the other!
