Thumb reset on the handle and fold it half design are amazing.

Use it every day. Love it. Love the hand reset so I don’t have to bend over. Love that it folds in half and I can carry around the homes that I inspect. This is such an improvement over my last measuring wheel. Get it!

Great for handgrenade measurements

Not to be confused with a surveying instrument-no wheeled device is that accurate. This will get you "close enough" for everything but the nastiest property line dust up. If you need accuracy beyond + or - 6", you need a professional. Fully assembled, and quality built. Perfect for estimated measurements of moderate distances. The brake prevents overshooting your mark, and you can reset the counter from the handle. The wheel has enough traction for smooth tarmac, rocky, and even grassy surfaces without skipping. When you're done, it folds in half so you can carry it in your Ferrari.

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER - EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased this unit the RRT!2 last February and I have used it practically every working day in my job since I received and it has performed exceedingly well for me in every respect. .. . About 2 weeks ago the reset button on the wheel quit working and I could not reset the wheel back to zero. I emailed Amazon and they sent me the phone number for Keson in Aurora, Illinois. I called the company and spoke with a very courteous customer service lady and told her of the problem I was experiencing and asked her what she could do about that.. She said the revolving wheels in this unit were not replaceable as it is a sealed unit but because it was still under warranty they were going to send me a brand new RRT12 to replace it at no charge. That new measuring wheel arrived at my home within 3 days after our conversation and I could not be more pleased with the service and attention I received from Keson. Excellent, excellent company to deal with. I will definitely buy their product again in the future if necessary and would recommend them to everyone. Tod Isaacson Fountain Hills, AZ.

Works great!

A little skeptical about this product as it appeared to be plastic -- however, was pleasantly surprised! Works great!! More accurate and a lot easier to use than the Keson metal one we had previously. We bought 3! Will see how long it stands up with all the use it will get.

High quality, made for professionals

Best of its kind. I have been using this heavily since September so I can't give an account of it working for years, but I have bought them in the past that haven't lasted 30 days the way I use them. I estimate fencing and the wheel can take a beating - I throw it in the trunk between stops. It feels so much higher quality than the other varieties I have used. It has a brake and the counter can be reset from the top handle. It folds nicely but I never fold mine, I just leave it unfolded. The kickstand works well usually, that is often the first thing to brake. The measurement tends to be accurate without having to add much if any to account for the wheel (I have used other brands where you had to add nine inches at each end to get it accurate). Hope this lasts, it was pricier than some of them but well worth the small difference based on the quality, as this is made for professionals.

Excellent measuring wheel

Excellent measuring wheel, I use it for work. It is very sturdy, heavy duty, easy to use. My previous wheel was super light and would always blow over in the wind, this wheel holds up well and the wheel doesn't move after you lift it up like my previous wheel. LOVE the handle reset and how it collapses down.

Just like the professionals

I ordered this to measure around my fence to order my slats and barrier. The lawn care professionals had one but liked this one better. It is very light weight and very easy to use. It is also right on for accuracy. I highly recommend this item.

Measuring Wheel

I've been using tape measures (300') to measure out sites for special events. I tried out this measuring wheel and I liked it a lot. The little kickstand comes in handy, because on flat asphalt, I have to measure out and then put down a piece of duct tape to mark out tents. Instead of dropping it on the ground, I kept the kickstand in place and when I measured out the distance, I just leaned it over onto the kickstand, knelt down and placed my tape where the wheel touched the ground. It worked great. I was able to read the distance on the little display from standing, so it was good. And the display shows either tenths or sixteenths ( I don't remember) of an inch, so when I went a little past, I could back up a bit, and be right on my distance. I could reset it from the handle, which was very convenient. And it folds up (in half) so it fits on the floor in the front of my car nicely, with no handle sticking up. I was so pleased with my purchase, that I ordered two more, to give to two of my clients who also do some measuring. I would recommend this to anyone who measures stuff outside. I also work on grassy areas, but I haven't used it there yet. It looks like it will work well on dirt.

Solid and lightweight

I just started using this, so i can't say how durable it is, but it's dead on accurate as long as you're measuring smoother surfaces. It's very light weight, but still feels solid and not flimsy. I love the reset button being on top of the handle. It keeps you from having to bend over all the time to reset. I'm not a huge fan of the kickstand, I wish it was up front where you could just lean it forward to set it down. Other than that it's doing exactly what i need it for.
