Great for dry hair and skin!

This review is long over due. I purchased my first bottle in March 2016 and I'm currently on my fourth bottle in Sept 2017. Initially, I got this Pura D'or Moroccan Argan Oil for my hair. My hair is oily on the roots, but colored and super dry+a bit wavy toward the end. It does a great job moisturizing/taming it without getting greasy. This thing absorbs really fast because I use it on my damp hair (end of my hair only!) and my hands don't get oily after. Now, moving on to the reason it deserves my time to give a five star review. I've travelled to another country recently and due to jet lag and climate change, my jaw area started getting itchy dry patches (I have combination sensitive skin). I tried different face moisterizers and lotions, but they didn't work. I have been doing the Korean 10 Step Skin Care for more than 10 years, so I am really careful with what I put on my face. I was desperate since I was in a foreign country, I decided to use Pura D'or Moroccan Argan Oil on my face (I always carry it with me for my hair). My dry patches disappear after two days! I started getting dry patches on the back of my neck after I came back to U.S., I used this product again and they are gone after one night!! TL;DR: this product is not only great for dry colored hair, it's also great for dry skin without getting oily/greasy. I love it :D

LOVE THIS ARGAN OIL!

I purchased a bottle of Pura D'or a few weeks ago for my hair since it tends to get dry in the summers (especially those ends!). Every time I washed my hair, I would pat it dry as much as I could with my towel and then applied one pump of oil onto my hands to smooth into my hair, paying more attention to my ends. After a few weeks I noticed a few things: 1. My ends are looking so much healthier. No split ends! And mind you, I haven't gotten a hair cut in probably 6 month (definitely due for one) and normally I get it cut every three months so the ends are fresh. 2. My hair is super soft. I try to give my hair a leave in coconut mask treatment to keep it soft but lately my work schedule has been crazy so I haven't been able to do it. But with Pura D'or, I can just skip the hair mask treatment. It has the same benefits except I don't have to sit there with gunk in my hair for hours. 3. My hands are soft too! I tend to have dry hands because I cook and clean a lot and soap does a number on my hands. Since I tend to wash my hair at night and usually I put the argan oil into my hair right before bed, I have noticed my hands have been super soft the next few days. Since the product has worked so well on my hands, I started to use a half pump for my face right before bed. I usually use maracuja oil, but argan oil is so much better. It's lighter and doesn't clog my pores. When I wake up in the mornings my face is super soft. Overall, I absolutely love this product and will continue to use it. It's a much affordable option compared to the big, expensive name brands out there.

Omg...this oil changed my FACE! I've been using it for a few weeks and I've noticed a dramatic difference in my skin: it's silky soft and plump, and the fine lines on my forehead (I'm 33) have all but disappeared! I'm also VERY prone to breakouts, and so far so good! Not a blemish in sight! A little goes a long way with this oil. I find I don't need to use that much and the effects last well into the next day! I've always judged my skin care by the "does it make me break out? No? Then I guess it's good!" maxim, and for the first time, I actually FEEL a discernible difference...my skin feels healthier and younger. I wish I'd found this in my 20s! Also, my makeup application (foundation) is noticeabley smoother and easier. I also find I use a LOT less. It sinks in faster, but also I don't have as much discoloration to cover up!

Love This Excellent Product

I have just started using the PRUA D'OR Moroccan Argan Oil and I love it so far. I use it everywhere: face, neck, arms, legs, and as an after bath all-over moisturizer. It feels great on the skin and if you don't overdo it by putting it on too thickly, it dries quite fast. I admit I was surprised but pleasantly. I don't like a greasy feel at all and this just fit the bill! For a smallish bottle it lasts a good while and goes far. Those of you who are sensitive to different smells and scents like I am, no worries. There is a faint scent but it dissipates into nothing quickly. I will update on results after I've used it for a longer period of time.

IN LOVE. Virtually no scent, absorbs like a dream and after only three days my skin is grateful. This is an exact dupe for JM brand from Sephora and a fraction of the cost. It came in a nice little bag with product info (side note: you guys need better translations for your English portion; it's a little Google translate literal) and the pump us much preferred over the typical dropper these have. Very excited I came upon this product and will certainly buy it again!

This stuff is fabulous. Before this I was using raw shea butter on my face because I am very acne prone and shea butter has a comedogenic rating of 0. What people don't understand though is that a comedogenic rating of 0 doesn't mean it wont make you break out. It means it ISN'T LIKELY...every skin is different. i think it clogged my pores a little, and so I switched to argan oil and added Alteya Organics pure rose oil to it(it's like 10cc's), and my skin loves it. Absolutely loves it. If you buy the rose oil, go straight to the Alteya Organics website. It's way cheaper...and no I don't work for them lol. It just really bugs me when sellers on Amazon hike up the price on here. I think it's like 12 dollars more on Amazon than from the actual website....sorry for rambling lol

I found this product on Amazon with numerous positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. Three bottles / orders later I am very satisfied with the quality of Argan oil. I use it daily throughout my body and have noticed a difference. I will continue to use Pura d’or and have recommended this brand and product to friends.

No More Frizz! Apply to Damp Hair.

My hair is fine and gets very frizzy. I've tried many hair products to no avail. I tried this Argan oil on dry hair a while ago, but it didn't work well. A couple of days ago I applied it to my damp hair after coming out of the shower and lightly towel drying. I applied 4 pumps to my palms and lightly rubbed them together prior to applying it to my hair, starting at the base and thorough my hair to the tips. No more frizz, and my hair is no longer unruly. I'm glad I tried this product on my damp hair. A truly great product with fantastic results.

Nice oil for BOTH skin and hair!

I just got this and it appears to do everything I want so far. This is the first time I have bought argan oil from Pura D'or but my sister gave me a bottle of their wonderful rosehip oil as a birthday gift, so I trusted the brand. The glass bottle and plastic pump top are very nice and it came securely shrink-wrapped/sealed. The oil is clear and mostly odorless; I detect a faint smell I would describe as "pine needles" but it dissipates quickly. I applied a little on the ends of my hair (I bought it mainly to use as a hair treatment), and dabbed a tiny amount on the sides of my eyes and on the tops of my hands as a moisturizer. It absorbed really well and left my hands very soft. I'm lucky to be hitting my 40s with no face wrinkles so I won't be able to comment on if it helps with that but it is VERY moisturizing so I will continue to use on face and will update post if I notice any adverse reactions. I always liked results I got from argan hair products like Moroccan Oil and the OGX oil treatments but they have added chemicals and specifically silicones so I was eager to try this. I also can't recommend enough this brand's rosehip oil for hair, especially if you're looking for a hair oil to condition wavy, dry hair.

The only product I use.

This is my 2nd bottle of Pura d'or. Now that I'm in my mid 30s, I've started to notice dry skin and fine lines that are exaggerated by the dry skin. I started trying all of these different, fancy and expensive products marketed toward women my age, promising results that were not delivered and also caused me other problems like redness and acne. I decided to keep it simple and stick to non- comedogenic products with short ingredient lists. Well, you cant get much simpler than one ingredient. This Argan oil has saved my 37 year old complexion. I also use it on the ends of my hair, which is also changing in texture as I age. No more frizzies! I have literally cleared my vanity of 5 or 6 different products and replaced them all with this one oil. Try it, you wont regret it.
