I absolutely love this company and this chair is really nice. When the chair arrived and I put it together, something was really off. I couldn't figure out what my problem was but the chair was just leaning to the right and it was uncomfortable to sit in. Upon a closer look, the screwholes for the right armrest did not fit exactly and so the screws weren't in all the way. Upon seeing this, I contacted the seller and they emailed me back to say that they would send me a replacement seat immediately to try to fix the problem. Within a week, I got the seat and the same problem remained so I emailed them again and they said they would send me a replacement armrest. I got that three days later and put it on and it works! The company was super good at handling this problem and I would love to buy from them again. The chair itself is pretty good. It is comfortable and firm so I feel like I can sit in the chair for a long time comfortably. It's not the best thing ever but I would say that it is worth the price. The only thing I'm not a fan of is how the high the chair sits on its lowest setting. I feel like it's a bit too high for my desk but it's okay.

My mom is a Master CPA and has done my taxes for me for the last umpteen years. This year I saw her sitting in a crappy chair and heard her complain of neck pain. So I searched for a chair for her. This is the one I picked. She LOVES IT! It arrived quickly and was easy to put together. Once together we called my mom in and had her try it out. After a few more hours of doing taxes she said there was no more neck pain. The chair was very comfortable! So if it's good enough for my mom I guess it's good enough for anyone!

I purchased the chair from a seller called valuemassage on a popular auction site. The item title is "High Back Leather Executive Office Desk Task Computer Chair w/Metal Base O10". I paid 90 bucks including shipping. The box was shipped UPS, and it arrived in good condition. The model was listed as OC-2610-Black, but the model on the box says OC-2610H. Factory Direct Wholesales is printed on the box; and their site lists the model as OC-2610. Although the seller location is GA, the box was shipped from CA...probably drop shipping. The instructions include a parts list, 6 pictures showing how to assemble the chair, and 3 pictures showing how to adjust the chair. The instructions were easy to follow. All the parts were included, along with a 5mm allen wrench, 2 extra bolts, and an extra bolt cap. INSTALLATION The 5 wheels snapped into the metal base...no problem. The gas cylinder sits in the metal base, and the cylinder dust cover slides over the top of the cylinder (press the cover down around the cylinder rod until it rests on the cylinder base). The metal mechanism with the lever and seat tilt knob is secured to the bottom of the chair using 4 bolts. Make sure the front end of the base is lined up with the front end of the chair (both are labeled). Screw each bolt in halfway, and then tighten them with the included 5mm allen wrench. Then set the chair on top of the cylinder on the metal base. So far...easy. The last part could be very frustrating and time consuming, depending on how the holes in your chair line up. To make this last part EASY, do the following: For the 2 bolts that secure the chair back to the arm rest (one on each side)... BEFORE you attempt to install the 2 bolts that secure the chair back to the arm rest... With the back of the chair pushed forward, screw the bolts into the holes. Notice how easily the bolts screw into the holes. They don't require force at all. So, if you use force to screw them, then you may cross-thread the bolts, and that's bad. Just keep in mind that they DO screw in easily, when lined up correctly. Now that you have a "feel" for how easily the bolts screw in, do the following: Pop off the cap of the bolt above it with your fingernail, loosen that bolt (#1 in photo) with a 6mm allen wrench, and then screw-in the bottom bolt (#2 in photo) using the supplied 5mm allen wrench. If you do that, then it is EASY to install. Don't tighten the bolts until you do the same thing with the bolts on the other side. Once they are both threaded, then tighten all 4 bolts and push-in all 4 caps. Loosening the bolt above the bolt that you are trying to install allows you to move the back of the chair a little, and that helps A LOT when trying to line-up the bottom bolt. Also, when attempting to install the 2 bolts that secure the back of the chair to the arm rest, I found it easier to tilt the chair all the way forward, so that the top of the chair is resting on the floor. See the photo in my review, if this doesn't make sense. This allowed me to put pressure on the area where the back meets the bottom of the chair, which also helped to line-up the bolts. In this position, you can either press down on the chair with your hand, or just sit on it. ADJUSTING The chair can be raised or lowered by lifting the lever on the right side under the chair. The same lever can be pulled out (allows the chair to recline), or pushed in (prevents the chair from reclining). The seat tilt tension knob under the chair can be twisted to the left/clockwise (to make the chair much more difficult to recline--or not recline at all), or twisted to the right/counter-clockwise (to make the chair easier to recline). FEEL, SUPPORT, SIZE I am 5' 9" tall and weight about 160 pounds. I do not need to raise the chair. With the chair all the way down, my feet rest flat on the floor. With the chair in this position, it measures about 18 inches from the floor to the top of the seat cushion where my legs hangover. From the area where my legs hangover to where my butt sits, it slopes down; the area where my butt sits is about 1 inch lower than the area where my legs hangover. I twisted the seat tilt tension knob all the way to the left, so the chair does not recline--that's how I like it. If the seat tilt tension knob under the chair is set to a loose position, then you may notice that the chair has a slight rocking motion. However, if you twist the seat tilt tension knob under the chair to the left/clockwise until it is snug, then the rocking stops. Of course, if you do that, then the chair does not recline much, but it also doesn't rock. I use the chair at home at my computer desk. I do not roll it around; it sits on top of a chair mat to protect my carpet. I think the arm rests are positioned just right and they are comfortable (the padding is firm). The bottom seat cushion is very comfortable (not firm); it feels like there is a top/soft layer and a bottom/firm layer. The back of the chair is similar. The bottom and back are bucket seat style, which I like. The chair supports me well. I was looking for a high back chair for better support. There is a smell, which is most noticeable when I sit down in the chair (caused by the air in the cushion being pressed out). The smell is not overpowering to me, and it does not smell like gasoline. It's hard to describe what it smells like...plastics/synthetics, I guess. It's typical for new stuff to have a smell; and just like new car smell, it will disappear after a while. It does not bother me. If the smell bothers you, then just eat chilli or baked beans for a few nights and that should take care of it! All the stitching looks good; nothing is unraveling or coming part. The chair feels solid, sturdy, and well-made. I am very happy with the comfort, quality, and price. keywords: tools, tip, trick, hex key, allen key, hex wrench, last bolt, stinks UPDATE 3/10/15 It's been about 2 weeks since I wrote this review. The smell is gone.

This is the second time I have purchaced this chair, I liked the first one so much that after 4 years of constant use as a desk chair I bought another. I am 5 foot 7 and 180 pounds, this chair fits great. I can not say enough about how good this chair is. The chair came as expected, packeged perfectly and went together easily, alot easier than the first one lol. As long as you fallow the directions it is easy to assemble, took me about 20 minutes. I have back problems from an accident a couple years ago so I use an ergonomic pillow, but the arm rest and backrest are very comfortable. As I said before the first one I bought lasted me 4 years and is still good, but it sits in storage in another state so I figured a new one would be good for my new office.

My dad has back and neck problems, but for his job he needs to sit in front of a computer at a desk all day. Certain days he works from home, but was using an exercise ball as a chair. I decided to be a good son and buy him a nice chair. He got it and said it was very simple to put together and only took him a few minutes, and he is not the best at following directions. He kept saying it is so comfortable and it doesn't bother his back or neck. When I finally got a chance to visit I sat in it and I instantly debated on buying it for myself! Very comfortable and supportive!

I just received my chair today and I couldn't be happier. There were no missing pieces or damage, the brittle plastic cone around the gas lift cylinder was cracked a bit at the top, but I'm not surprised and it makes no difference at all in the way this chair feels. The materials and craftsmanship are better than what I would expect to get for the price. I can't speak to the durability of the chair, but it feels premium. I was able to put the chair together in as little as 30 minutes, by myself, following the instruction sheet. Everything screwed together as it should. The only tricky part was getting the backing on, and even that wasn't too much of a challenge once the chair was placed on it's side. All-in-all, I'm extremely happy with the purchase. I read plenty of reviews before ordering and saw a few about missing/broken pieces, flat padding and such. I decided to disregard those, roll the dice and see what I got, and I was not disappointed. It's extremely comfortable and gives great support. I would highly recommend taking the leap to any that might be on the fence about buying, you'll be glad you did.

Absolutely fantastic product for the price. Yes, this is a standard "put it together yourself" type desk/office chair. Yes, it is bonded leather. BUT... You could buy the "student" type desk chair that you build yourself for 40 bucks, or this one and get a very comfortable chair. The side bolsters in the back cushion are nice. There is no lumbar adjustment or any of those amenities, but the cusoons are nice, the materials are solid, the look is stellar and of the "professional office" quality. The rocking feature is adjustable and lockable and there is a reasonable amount of height adjustment. If shorter than 5'10, you may not use the height adjust feature. I'm 6'1" and sit about lowest to mid height comfortably. Great product for the money and shipped perfectly. on time shipping and I put it together without looking at instructions in 15 minutes while taking my sweet time. Good, easy to follow instructions are included. I read reviews for the Amazon basic chair that is similarly priced and they said that the Amazon Basics chair's arms crack under Normal use but this is a much tougher frame and very sturdy once put together. It looks like metal, but is some type of heavy duty plastic/polymer. Very upscale looking for the price.

I'm going to try to come back and add more to my review the longer that I have the chair. When deciding what office chair to buy, I really was grateful for those reviews where the purchaser came back after months (some a year or more) and said how the chair was holding up. So far I'm pretty impressed with it. Delivery was fast and free and assembly was very easy. No tools required as the allen wrench is included. The quality seems really good upon first inspect. I just put it together this morning and have sat on it for a couple hours working at my computer now. I have a hard time sitting on chairs for a long stretch of time because of my back. After several pregnancies, my back has moments where it doesn't bother me and moments where I can be in a lot of pain. So far the cushioning on this chair is great and hasn't caused any pain. Definitely something that I was hoping for in purchasing a chair, but also a decent price. As of my initial review, I'm pretty pleased with the chair. Plus, I love that it rocks, or I can lock it so that it doesn't rock.

This chair was very easy and fun to put together. Of course make sure that things are squared up when tightening the screws and put all of the screws in 80% before tightening them up. It's very comfortable and a fairly decent quality for the cost. The cushioning does seem susceptible to wear in (compressing) on the pressure areas. The armrests are compressed where my forearms rest. I could see the same thing happening under the middle of the butt area after a long time. The chair is quite deep. I attached a lumbar back rest with this chair and it leaves plenty of room to sit comfortably.

Some people say that this chair is not good to be in for a long period but honestly no chair is good for a long period. its not the chair its your body tired of sitting. it is easy to assemble but it took me longer than usual because i suck at assembling things and building them. It feels great and it is comfortable from the minute i sat on it. I actually sit here on the chair writing this review. It is cheap in price compared to other chairs and it does the job. i honestly do not know why anyone would spend so much money on a chair. i like to change things often so i do not like to spend too much money on things i will throw away in like a year or so.
