Perfect Permanent Ink

I love this ink and use it in almost all of the colors. It is always reliable and happens to be waterproof. Having a reinker for each ink pad really is the way to go. It is cost effective because the pads easily last through numerous reinkings. I have yet to replace any of my ink pads because they just don't wear out after years and years. Ranger makes top notch ink in several configurations. This one is probably the one Archival I use most for the inside text of my cards. When dry it will not smear. It is also great when you want to color a stamped design. Stamp in Archival then use water colors or water based pens to color in the design. It makes a crisp and clean impression every time.

I dont think I realized when ordering that it says "Permanent Ink". Not sure what the difference is, I use it in inkpad. I could not find ink refills in a few stores, so ordered this.

I have an ink pad and reinker but they are old, so I decided to update my pad and get another reinker as my old one is about 1/2 full. I use this all the time and it is water resistant when using my water colors on stamped images. Arrived undamaged in a quick timely manner. Thanks so much!

I don't use the ink pad that much, I have had the ink pad for well over a year, and I noticed the ink was not as dark. Because of the use of over year, I thought it was time to re-ink the pad. Could not find the re-inker locally, that is why I placed the order. Received quickly and re-inked the pad and it is as if it was the original. Very pleased.

This bottle of reinker works well to reink the Ranger Archival Ink Pad. It is waterproof and can be used under a watercolor painting. Have used this ink with a clear stamp to make color wheels and color swatches on watercolor paper. It works well. Made in USA.

I like when one purchase lasts forever

I'm not a fan of refilling things. I like when one purchase lasts forever, because refills usually mean a company's out to make money out of you. That's not true in this case! I've ordered a few of these little bottles (which is about 2.75" tall, with 18ml or .5 fl oz of liquid), and I've only finished one. I bought the last one just in case I run out, but I've been using the second bottle for quite some time. The ink might be less in quantity, but it lasts quite a long time! I don't use this ink in a Ranger ink pad, so that had me worried. I own a generic ink pad which is fairly large, and this ink works just fine in there. Not sure if it's waterproof as it claims to be, but I can tell it's permanent as I use it excessively for heavily-used items. So glad I decided to give this a try!

Fastest shipping

I ordered this on a Sunday and it arrived Monday a.m. I don't know how they do that. I am in the middle of making Halloween cards and my archival ink pad was starting to fade. Thrilled to try a refill as it is much cheaper than buying the pads.

Love It!! It's Waterproof and Archival!!!

I love this ink because it is waterproof and archival! I use it for watercolor swatching and it dries quickly and does not bleed at all on 100% cotton watercolor paper! I also use it for all my other art material swatching for colored pencils and pastels as it is archival ink. I use high quality art supplies and I need to make sure that the time I spend recording information is not wasted on cheap fading, smudging or bleeding ink. I found a really great swatching stamp made by waffle flower and this has saved me so much time.
