My Nephew Loved it!
I got this for my 4m/o nephew. I know that this is for 6m/o & up, but he lives 3 hours from me and i hardly get to see him. His parents have financial issues & living under someone else's roof, so i knew they wouldn't buy him much in terms of toys & don't have much room in the house; so i had a be mindful of that. Luckily, this didn't take up that much space when i put it together. Batteries ARE included! Shocked by that! The wheels have a lock so they won't fall and the back ones have rubber on them for gripping the floor. He absolutely loved it! He was immediately engaging all the buttons, he really loved the music setting & natrually, the LIGHTS! He is already trying to walk (with assistance) so he will be an early walker; this was my main reason for getting him this & i knew his parents are not financially stable enough for toys yet. i'm the one holding him in the picture while he is kicking the crap out of everything!

Awesome toy starting for the assisted or unassisted sitter
My son absolutely loves this toy! He plays with it every day. Sometimes he plays with the toy part on the walker and sometimes I detach it from the walker and put it in his lap for him to play with. I love that the music plays so easily and keeps playing. There are so many different interactions that keep him engaged for long periods of time. I can see where other parents would say it's not stable to have them pull up from. My son weighs 20 lbs and he would need a lot of help pulling himself up at this point. That said, I help him with pulling up when he wants to work on that and it's just fine when you are there keeping an eye. The wheel lock feature is nice for stationary play and also practice just standing still. He's not ready for walking just yet so I can see this toy lasting for quite a while on past when he starts to walk. I would definitely buy this toy again, and it would be a great gift!

The one star reviews are misleading...
I usually read the 1 star rating when buying a product. I saw the issues about the wheels sliding on hard floors, being too light to support a child while standing up, going too fast and kids falling on their face... The list goes on. Well after some critical thinking and shopping around I figured that most if not all of the products of this price and material would have the same issues. Well, the reviews were almost completely wrong! Wheels sliding on hard floors... False, there is a rubber seam on the rear wheels that prevents side to side motion. (I have no idea where this critique came from) My entire main level is hard wood and this has not been an issue. Too light to support a child while standing up... False (for the most part), my 12 month old is average size and it doesn't tip. That's not to say that if your kid is in the 95th percentire that it's going to be as sturdy as a rock. Going to fast... False again! There are two settings on the wheels. One pretty much locks the rear wheels (not too much so that it's immovable). The other setting is free spining. My 12 month old (recieved this for his birthday) uses the locked setting on the main floor where it's hard floor and the free spinning setting on the carpet. He has never had the toy "run away" from him causing him to fall flat. Granted he has fallen but that's the purpose right? To help him learn to walk... This is just my two cents I hope it's helpful.

Great sensory toy and walking aid for toddlers
I purchased two of these VTech Sit-to-Stand toys. One for my son and another for my friend's daughter. My son loved this walker. He at first just liked to stand and lean against it just trying to keep his balance. When he began learning to walk he would slowly take steps and finally just started zooming back and forth across the living room. The front, which is detachable, has a lot of musical keys and buttons that make different sounds. There is a detachable phone, which was always getting lost. That is the only thing I didn't really care for, but wasn't a big deal. Also, sometimes it was difficult snapping the front onto the walker. Overall this is a great product. It's a wonderful sensory toy and helps babies and toddlers gain the confidence to learn to walk.

Best toy...
Purchased this for my 10 month old grandson, and it's a focal point whenever he comes to visit. Lots of bright colors and attention grabbing sounds, little tasks to play with such as the spinning wheels at the bottom, peek-a-boo door, and flashing lights. Like the attached shapes that he first learned to remove, (triangle, square, and circle)... and now he is learning to put them back on. The phone is always being removed, but I don't think he has a clue it's a toy version of now defunct communication device as I haven't had a phone like this for 15 years...but he seems to enjoy it, giving me 'looks' when I talk on it...lol. We have only used the walker portion for him to work on strengthening his legs and balancing. Hasn't began walking quite yet. The locked wheels will slide on hard surfaces so be aware and close by to assist as needed. The front panel is removable so you can place it on the floor if your little one isn't sitting yet. well made toy that can take a beating... well worth the price.

Babies to early Toddlers - entertained for hours!
Love this walker! My little girl is 7 months old and was pulling herself up to stand before we received the walker. She loves standing up on the walker and playing with the board. A 12-month-old little boy comes over every day and the two of them constantly "fight" over who gets to play with it. They used to get bored with their toys after only an hour or so, but now they play for hours! One of the best purchases. Our 7-month-old has fallen, but we attribute that more to her taking her hands off the walker and trying to stand without support than to the walker itself. She is learning and growing! The little 12-month-old boy has not fallen with this. He is now walking on his own so he typically doesn't use the walker to actually move. Just to play with all the awesome buttons and toys. Hope this helps!

Had it for over a year and my almost 2 year old still loves it!
Purchased November 2017 for my then sub 1 year old son, and he still loves it! AS A WALKER: I purchased this item to help him navigate walking and although I’m not sure if this is what helped, he was walking right when he turned 1 - a month and a half after he started using this walker. Some people say walkers actually delay kids to start walking, but I think this toy helped him (at least I don’t think it delayed him starting to walk). I think other reviewers mentioned this note- which was very helpful is that if your child is still not walking, I would keep the lock on the wheels initially and use only on carpets. That way, your child won’t tumble over and hurt him/herself and I think that’s how my son learned to balance initially. The toy will run too fast with the locks off on wooden floor so would not recommend using it unless you have enough carpeted area in your house for your child to practice walking. Once he or she has enough balance, wooden floor without the lock on works great! AS A MUSIC TOY: My son is almost 2 now, and he now can point at each button and say what the characters are and what sound it makes, (sun! Cow says Moo! Peek a boo! I see you!) dance to the music it plays, and loves to pretend he’s on the phone. He still pushes it around and runs around the house! QUALITY Have been pushed and thrown around on carpet and wooden floor and still looks brand new. The color hasn’t faded at all.

Watch out-here comes speedy!!
It has taken me a while to review this toy because of health issues. My 20 month old granddaughter has one of these so I ordered one for my 20 month old grandson. As soon as this was easily set up, he started playing with all the buttons and colorful items on the front. We had to show him how he could hold the handle so he could walk while pushing it. Now, watch out because he will run you over when he shifts into hyperspeed. He doesn’t say much yet but I am sure he likes it!
