I ordered this sewing craft cart so that i could have an easier way to store my fabrics and other craft items. I put this craft cart together one evening with no help. it did take me about 2 and a half hours to do it but that was with multiple interruptions. It feels really sturdy and heavy but it is made from pressed wood. It is truly really easy to assemble and comes with step by step instructions. It also has a feature if you have a smart phone you can scan a code and it will pull up an interactive video that walks you through the process step by step. I found that extremely helpful since i was putting it together alone it helped me better visual what i was doing rather than trying to keep track of the paper instructions. I defiantly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great multi-storage crafting cart.

I would give this thing 10 stars! I love to stay organized and I felt that my craft stuff was in various drawers in my master bedroom, and Id cringe at the thought of gathering all my supplies to make anything -- particularly my cricut and vinyl and all miscellaneous things. It did take me a bit of time to put this thing together (and its quite heavy) but I enjoyed the process and Its actually pretty well made for the price. I could NOT believe how much stuff I fit into it ... doesn't seem like much space but actually its the perfect amount of space for someone who does crafting here and there and needs a designated space to feel productive, efficient, and neat. I actually store my cricut on the floor of the desk (inside) bc I have a large plastic box that holds all my vinyl on the shelf -- but it fits perfectly! I also have a ton of misc. crafts for my preschooler in the side pockets, a ton of craft papers/cardstock on the shelves, my laminator, laminating pouches, christmas and other greeting cards, markers and all sorts of supplies, ribbon, etc. I could probably fit even more in there if I tried. I love that I now see what I have and i forgot that i had some of the things and colors which I already owned. The espresso brown matches my office decor and kind of looks like its part of the office. my husband didn't even complain when I rolled this thing in there.... I think he was impressed at how organized everything is now. I no longer have random plastic bins filled with crafts in different closets of my house. I highly recommend this table.... its very compact and doesn't take up that much space and actually freed up a lot of space in the other places that I kept these supplies. The wheels roll great, if you needed to move it in and out -- but I keep it in one place.

Decent design, I wanted a larger seeing desk but had some trouble finding the right one. So went with this, I'm leaving up the part that folds down for good surface space and put storage bins for fabric to hold it up. We just moved from out of state and this is one of my first furniture purchases to unpack and get organized. It took my husband about 30 mins to put together and he said the instructions were very easy. As well as the labels are stickers and came off easy not leaving any real residue. Just used a wet cloth to clean off dust and the little left overs from the stickers to label the pieces. The instructions give the weight limits on the shelves- middle one says no more than 25 pounds so will fit the machine- do not use it as a foot rest haha.

This craft table is amazing!! It's perfect for small spaces. I have a corner of a room space wise and this is perfect. It's made of nice materials and feels very sturdy yet easy to move around with the wheels. Amazing product especially for the price. Super easy to put together, very clear instructions. Took me an hour and a half to put together alone with sorting the hardware and a toddler at home! I love that it has a storage space for my sewing machine as well. Def a great buy.

This is a fine sewing table. I live in a very small house and wanted to reclaim one little corner in our tiny office space. Our budget would not allow me to purchase the Kangaroo cart, but for $140 I could have something similar. I now feel like I have a spacious place just for me, that allows me to keep my sewing machine and serger out all the time, without worrying about moving it. I work from home at times, and I would move all my sewing stuff in order to hook up my work laptop. Now I have a dedicated space just for sewing, organized the way I like it. If you order this color and are expecting a cherry colored desk, I would say you will be disappointed. This desk is nearer to being ebony than cherry. I didn't care what color it was, so works fine for me. My husband and I put it together fairly quickly, the parts are well marked and hardware is pre-sorted. It really helps to have two people to construct, but not a necessity.

This Sauder Sewing and Craft Table is a good quality, functional piece. I recently started sewing and needed a workspace that wouldn't take up much room. Delivery and Assembly: I am a middle aged woman with both back and neck issues. The UPS delivery person set the box inside the front door. I was able to easily "step" it to my living room and ease it onto the floor without any strain on me. It took me about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to assemble the cart by myself. Assembly may have gone faster had I not been binge watching Daredevil on Netflix at the same time. The directions were clear and I had all my parts and hardware. The table is attractive enough to blend in well with my furniture. Quality: The cart components are of good quality. The cart is sturdy and the color blends good with my decor. I purchased the cherry one; it is more of an espresso color. I have carpeted floors; the castors move easily over the floor with no wobbling. I am satisfied with my purchase and recommend it. These carts are a good value at the price point. I wish I had room to purchase 2 of them to give me double the space for working on large quilts. I've been sewing on a wood TV tray or a folding table. I wanted to make sure I would stick with sewing before investing in anything else. I will use this primarily in a 10x10' room that already has a klikklak sofa and recumbent exercise bike in it so I appreciate it is only 39" before expanding the drop leaf.

I bought this to replace another inexpensive sewing table i had that did not withstand my move. I really wanted white but could not justify an extra $50 for white. The cinnamon cherry is beautiful and likely will be more forgiving overtime to use. It took me only 45 min to assemble. The directions were pictorial and instructional making it very clear and easy to follow. I strongly recommend taking time to lay each piece out with its assigned lettering to stream line assembly. I also use on large styrofoam piece that was inside the packaging and stuck all the hardware in it. The hardware arrived loose in one big bag and this made it very easy to inventory and select as each piece was needed. As a 40-somehting female, I did need assistance to bring the entire box upstairs but one could easily have taken out the pieces and carried them upstairs over several trips. The doors were a bit challenging to screw on without a second set of hands, but i used my shoe and knee to leverage and was able to do so alone. I absolutely needed help pushing in the castors. I was only able to insert 2 out of 5 by myself- they are a snug fit and the angle (if following instructions) was not ideal. This table is cute, structurally sturdy and will be a great addition to my craft room. For roughly $100 you cannot beat the quality. the only CON i could identify is the cheap horizontal plastic beige bins that run on the inside of the door that swings open to support the extended table top. I was not going to mount them but they are really functional and have nice dividers. I store the table closed unless working at it- so all in all, its just fine. (note: different finishes have different prices)

I've always wanted a functional sewing table and after using a generic white 6 ft folding table for over a decade, it was time to upgrade! I started my research by checking out the high end sewing brands (Kangaroo, Koala, Arrow, etc) and QUICKLY decided that I'm not ABOUT to spend one to three months worth of mortgage payments on this thing. WHO. DOES. THAT?!?! (No, I mean I REALLY want to know who out there is buying those???? *side eye* lol!) Just kidding but seriously...this is a market that is obviously ripe for some competition..... GASP! Anyhoo...after gathering my breath and placing my order I waited patiently for my cart to arrive. As Murphys Law would have it, there was a snafu with my order. Based on the shipping label it appears that it was drop shipped directly from Sauder and apparently someone fell asleep in the warehouse and pulled a TV Cart instead of a Sewing Cart. REALLY?! (You had ONE job!) I cannot blame Amazon and I didn't discover the error myself until after I had already taken EVERY. DARN. PIECE. out of the carton. I called Amazon within an hour after delivery and they placed a replacement order at no cost and set up for UPS to pickup the return for the next day. About 5 days later I finally received the correct item. Sauder packed this item really well. It arrived shrink wrapped in order to ensure no damage in case the outer box got dinged up during shipment, which it did. Lol! But there were no missing pieces or components - yay! I give Sauder an extra gold star for adding a website link to the instruction manual that allows you to view an assembly VIDEO - HOW cool is THAT?! The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. I have purchased and assembled wayyyy MORE "faux furniture" than I care to admit over the years, so I was delighted to discover that there were no weird defects and this cart came together beautifully - it exceeded my expectations for the cost. I'm a very practical person, so what truly sold me on this cart (besides the price - HELLO!!! :)) is the utility. The LAST thing I needed was another pretty table with no functionality. It has an extra leaf on the left side that can be lifted to extend your workspace another 16 inches - SWEET!!! I insisted on reading the Amazon reviews before purchasing and made a mental note of the suggestion from others to keep the leaf extended and just add some storage units underneath the leaf to support it - GENIUS! There are two storage spaces on the cart - one on the right side that has 2 shelves (I used it to store my sewing machine) and a 2nd storage space behind the front door (I used it to store my embroidery machine). There are also 2 removable bins hanging on the inside of the front door that can be used for small supplies. The cart also has wheels for easy of mobility. What else could you ask for for only $160 bux?! If you have 3 stacks to blow on a fancy sewing table then....well, I hate you. Haha just kidding - lol! But I would recommend you get THIS table instead - and spend the rest of those hard earned coins on fabric and margaritas! Happy Sewing! :)

I bought this to use as my laptop desk. It's fantastic. It looks great and is very sturdy. I have low plush carpet and it rolls easily from room to room, but for now it's in my living room, matches the color of my dark furniture, and when we have get togethers I just put everything in the desk, close it, and use it as a serving tray. I really love it! My rolling desk chair with arms doesn't fit inside it, but it doesn't have to, my legs do! The plastic trays are too unslightly for my taste so I covered them with dark peel and stick paper - but they are fantastic to hold my tape, headphones, all kinds of stuff. My feet rest easily on the board underneath the desk, but use common sense, I don't put a lot of pressure on it. The only thing I would change is the casters. I'm going to change them to make the desk sit higher. Highly recommend. If you want to know all the dimensions of each part, here's a picture of the dimensions that I got from Sauder's website here http://www.sauder.com/Products/411615_SewingCraft_Cart.aspx.

Overall the construction of this table/cart is very sturdy. Easy assembly. TONS of storage. Looks great - but I updated the knobs and upgraded the wheels to bigger wheels. The carts are AWESOME. I have a home business designing and sewing projects, so I have a lot of stuff. I just recently relocated into a more pricier, but way smaller apartment, so my space is considerably limited. I originally had two large 6ft heavy fold out tables and tons of bins and more; this looked so ugly too. I chucked the tables and everything fit perfectly in the two carts!!! The carts are very sturdy... anyone who said they fall apart did not assemble them correctly--by the way, assembly is very easy. It took me an hour per cart to assemble. One downside was the screws and hinges all came together jumbled in one single bag... that was annoying to sort out. I use a pretty heavy industrial walking foot sewing machine by Sailrite (I do not recommend that sewing machine, it's made horribly and their customer service is nice until there is a problem, buy a reliable barracuda instead!!!) and the table supports it just fine, even when I'm jamming through some fabrics. My dog loves to do tricks, and while I was taking photos she decided the cutting mat was a perfect spot to "park it" so she parked her butt ontop, and it didn't budge. Supported her 45lbs without issue. I don't recommend having your dogs sit on your cabinet for a multitude of reasons, though. The original casters did not shake while sewing, however, they are cheap and do not "lock". I have a ton of stuff packed inside of the carts... lots of heavy upholstery fabric... my god it all fits. I can still wheel the carts around my laminate floors with it packed and carrying my heavy stuff with the original caster feet. The color is very very dark. I wish I would have purchased white since I have these in my "dining room" aka craft room, they would have looked like an extension of my kitchen cabinets. The first cart was flawless but I chipped an edge assembling it, the second cart had a chip in an edge when I took it out of the box... no big deal. I'm going to just seal it with wood glue... this isn't furniture from restoration hardware. The hardware is drab and cheap looking, so I upgraded my knobs to some satin nickel knobs from amazon - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005I4J00O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The table sits extremely low for me ... I enjoy tables that are a bit higher as my chair is higher. I replaced the small plastic 2" caster feet with polyurethane 4" casters. By upgrading the casters you can move the cabinets even easier and the lock mechanism works extremely well. You can also purchase a folding leg attachment so you don't need to open the door in order to raise the ledge. http://www.amazon.com/Products-013-071-Folding-Table-Leg/dp/B002N5YF2O/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1420692467&sr=8-12&keywords=Table+legs I have forgotten the door was supporting the table top and closed it only to send the table top, and everything resting on it, crashing to the ground. I ordered two from Amazon the other day. The first one was under $89 and when I placed the second order a few hours later the price jumped to $140+ even though Walmart and other stores still were selling it for under $100... I chatted online with Amazon and they told me to pound sand & to buy it elsewhere if I found it cheaper. I spoke with someone on the phone with Amazon and she just said "uuuhhhhhhh that's not Amazon Prime" and hung up on me. I decided to call back once more and I got a very sweet girl who let me buy the second cart for the price I paid for the first one a few hours before the second order. Shout out to Kaye V. with the Amazon customer service team! She's very sweet, professional, and actually listened to what I was saying.
