Nice and stable

Nice, sturdy, stable seat at a good fair price. If your lid seems to be spring loaded so that it won't stay open, it is simply because one of the hinge pins slid out of place during shipping. This appears to be a minor design flaw. When the seat is not engaged on it's mounting bolts, it is easy to correct this problem by sliding the black plastic hinge pin into the correct location so that it does not twist with the lid.

Easy to install

I appreciate the quality of Kohler products. I purchased a cheaper toilet seat at a local box store and within 6 weeks the entire seat had peeling paint (to my surprise it was painted wood even though it felt to me molded poly or plastic) I’ve had this seat a year now and it’s held up well. Functions as new. I like the soft, slow lid closure. Highly recommended!

Great Seat from Kohler at Great Price

Very happy with this seat and at less than half the cost of what the store would have charged me. Their Kohler seat would have taken a week and a half to order in and I'd then have had to go to the store to pick it up. This one came in 2 days with Prime. Also a nice feature is it has a device on the bolts that helps keep them from loosening up as they did on other seats I've had.

Bought 2 of these almond color plastic molded Kohler toilet seats to match my existing Kohler round almond toilets that were installed in late 80's. Upon doing some remodeling I decided to just upgrade the toilet seats and save some money. My current Kohler almond toilets still looked great functioned well and the color goes with my new decor. They matched perfectly to existing color of toilet and made the existing toilets look brand new again. Most big box stores sell bone or bisque color that does not match older almond colored fixtures from 80's and 90's. I first purchased a Bemis wood molded product in almond color, however this was poorly made and a chunk of material was already missing from the returned item purchased. For a few dollars more the molded plastic Kohler toilet seat was a much better product. The shape of the seat is a major plus. The shape confirms better to the shape of your legs and other body parts. Compare this to a cheaper seat and the difference is evident once you sit down use the product. Installation was easy and the seat fits snugly and does not wiggle or move around. The seat also comes off for east cleaning. Just lift the back bolt cover upward and the seat will pull straight off in horizontal direction. The bolt cover once snapped back in place keeps the toilet seat from coming off and retains the seat in place. Love this seat for the price paid!!!

Great comfort, value and appearance

Comfortable, Light weight but will still slam shut if not lid is dropped. But wont damage toilet or the seat. I got the biscuit color which is beautiful. Just a hint of off white to compliment the off white paint and tiles of most standard painted homes. Easy to install and has a quick detach feature for easy cleaning if needed. Because of the design I don't foresee having to remove it more than a couple times a year.

We purchased these seats to replace ones that the builder had put in our house. These are light years better than those Bemis seats from a cleaning perspective alone. I personally prefer plastic over painted wood because they are way easier to clean and sanitize AND they don't get all warped if you use a cleaner with bleach. These also don't have a gap between the fasteners when the seat is up so it prevents stuff from falling into that little hard to clean area between the fasteners which is my LEAST favorite part to clean. I would highly recommend these seats.

Great when not constipated.

This toilet seat is wonderful l. Never had a better time on a toilet seat, unless i am constipated, then it is a struggle. I have done many hours of facebooking and instagramming on this seat and i can attest for its comfort which is marginal at best, your legs will go numb. This seat is a little to low because when i sit my package will touch the bowl. With my other seat it didn't. Now i have learned to manouver so it isn't an issue anymore. When unloading, due to the seat height you may get splashes. This can be easily avoided by pulling up a little, just like going over a bump in a bicycle at high speeds.

Good match

After reading all the negative complaints about this toilet seat I didn't know what to expect. Take reviews with a grain of salt. I watched a one minute YouTube video and had it installed in 10 minutes. It doesn't move around or shift, there is an adjustment where the bolts go in so maybe people didn't notice that and it fit perfectly. The biscuit color also matched perfectly. Maybe it's just me but a lot of whiners about a $20 toilet seat.😯

Perfect fit, easy installation, much much better than a wood seat!

Great plastic toilet seat and perfect replacement for that old wood seat. Very easy installation. Two course thread screws with nylon nuts. I read other review about problems with installation and installation hardware, but I did not have any issues with installation or the installation hardware. Very secure installation. Also, this Kohler design does not have any exposed fasteners on the underside of the toilet seat like the wood seats have. As you know, the wood seat fasteners end up getting dirty and corroding due to poor aim. Wish I had purchased this seat replacement a long time ago. Highly recommend this product to replace that out-dated wood seat. And this is a great price. Just compare with other plastic seats. You'll find it is a great value. And very easy to clean and maintain.

Quite Comfortable On The Arse

I mean come on. We spend alot on time on the throne right? some seats are just uncomfortable. sometimes u arent aware until u get up. this one is not as expensive but comfy. u'll have to be careful when fastening it as the plastic may splay, but just go easy while hand tightening.
