Strong and easy to clean surface, portability,soft under surface, but light doesn't work

I love my laptop desk I use it every day! The light that was included does not work very well, though it keeps flickering and if used in the dark which is what it's meant is for, it gives you this eery feeling as if you were in a horror movie and the lights keep flickering on and off! It also does not fit in the little holder very well and keeps falling forward, but I don't need it anyway. The surface itself is a thick hard plastic surface and easy to clean if you ever spell a beverage from the cup holder while moving it. I use it to hold the cup of color pencils when I use it and I always keep a pen in the holder or it gets lost. I stopped using it to hold the laptop and use it more as a firm surface to write my notes while my laptop is open on another surface in front of me. I also use it to eat lunch sometimes. It is really comfortable and it usually sit with my legs crossed and it placed on top of my lap so it is right at eye level. It is starting to become a little flat on the cushion surface since I have been using it every day for 6 months now, but it is filled with those tiny styrofoam balls they use it been bags and if you left the cup holder out it will expose the filling,but I can use that by replacing the filling when needed. over all awesome buy!

This is desk is a number 1 for me...I sit in my recliner in my livingroom and was setting my laptop on my lap...this desk holds my laptop at just the right height and I can sit and watch tv and work on my laptop at the same time...thanks

Far surpasses the name brand lap gear lap desks!!

I Love This! I bought one made by the standard brand of lap gear and my notebook (PC) slid around. this has excellent traction & a lot more "desktop" room. I don't need the padded wrist rests. I placed a standard size mouse mat to the right. It sticks to the lap desk and the notebook sits half on that and half on the desktop solid & secure as can be. I put my small wireless mouse in the cup holder. The beanbag padding is MUCH more flexible than the standard "2 strip" or whatever it's called and fits more solidly in the different body postures I use in my recliner. And the color: it is NOT the screaming fluorescent crayon blue as in the photo. It's not a muted navy blue, but it's not as bright as it looks in the photo. The Biggest Perk: the finish on the workspace that holds things securely without sliding, hence there's no added psychological tension or physical discomfort in addition to the obvious "a lap desk isn't necessarily as good as a real desk." One Thing (that for me is) No Big Deal: My light doesn't seem to work - I probably need to move the batteries around (I'm pretty much techno-impaired). The light coils up nicely in a little hidden zippered pocket on the back near the carry handle

This is perfect for my elderly dad

This is perfect for my elderly dad, who takes most of his meals in front of the TV. The "bean" filled pillow conforms nicely to his lap, versus another style that we tried that was a solid piece of foam (and didn't conform as easily). The removable light is brilliant (and arrives stored inside the zipper compartment of the pillow section, so don't panic if you don't see it in the box immediately), and allows more usable surface area when the light isn't needed. I used some Scotch Guard on the fabric before he started using it, which should help keep staining down. Highly recommend.

Great Lap Desk

I bought this for my son whom I home school. I wanted to create the perfect space for him that would be fun to study in. I purchased this lap desk so that in addition to his regular desk, he can use this in his lounge area that I put together. He can use this while relaxing on his bean bag chair. He can also bring it on long car trips, or even on vacation. He absolutely loves the light that came with it. It helps to see in lowly lit spaces. The desk is filled with the same material as a bean bag chair so it's comfortable to use for long periods of time. The blue color is very vibrant and matches the theme in his room. It has a convenient cup holder and pencil holder built into the top surface so he can have everything he needs within reach. I would repurchase this lap desk a million times and recommend it for any one who likes to do a bit of lounging while studying or working.

Super value for the money!

I love this little desk,it is great quality for the money. I thought it was missing the reading light,but it was stored in the rear zipper pouch. The desk itself is nice plastic with a comfy foam cushioning underneath to put on your lap. It has a drink holder and a compartment for pens as well as a hole to install the reading light. The light is flexible to adjust how you like and the bulb(i think you call it LED) is very bright! How very nice! This would also make an awesome gift for anyone!

Perfect for using on the couch and in bed!

This is an absolutely perfect product for anyone that sits in bed or on the couch while using the computer, crafting, reading or a variety of activities really. I purchased it to use in bed while working on my computer and have found a ton of uses for it already. The top is a hard plastic that is easy holds a notebook and computer. There's a little slot for your pens, a cup holder and for the led light that comes with it. The bottom is a soft material and is filled with foam balls like in a bean bag. There's also a a pocket at the top to put the light in or anything else you want. The only negative for me is that the light is detachable and tends to not stay in well at times. However, that is a very minor issue and I would definitely recommend it!

Perfect! The sturdy, lightweight, cushion on the bottom is a comfortable beanbag-like material, convenient cup indentation spot, and very useful light with a convenient zippered storage pouch when light is not in use. Easily wipes clean. The shape is rounded and nicely contoured. It is easily wiped clean.

Comfortable and easy to manage.

This is perfect for someone who can't sit at a desk due to arthritis issues. And it came in handy while recovering from surgery for 2 weeks as a perfect tray for food while bedridded and watching TV! The light could be a better quality because it sucks up the batteries too quickly, but hey, I'm not fussed about it honestly. For anyone else they might take a star off, but I didn't buy this for the light. I bought it for its actual purpose as a desk and it accomplishes that nicely.

Wide enough to play solitaire

Mom already has a convenient sized lap tray to use for meals. I bought this tray specifically for it’s width. Mom has dementia & loves to play cards. Sadly, she can only remember solitaire & this tray is wide enough to lay out 7 rows of cards. It’s perfect.
