AMAZING!

Great buy. Pictures turned out awesome. All photos were taken with no special lighting needed, just our regular kitchen lighting. Oh yah, I used my Samsung Note 5 taking them. I highly recommend.

Unbelievably good if you know what you are doing

Lots of reviews on here stating the lights are bad or not bright enough but that is easily solved with proper lighting setup and understanding shadows. Here's a picture I took using a cell phone camera. Only filter on here is a slight blur effect to bring the eyes towards the center and small flare on the lightsaber. Other than that, it's all lighting and angles. I didn't even crop it. Overall the packaging is great, the felt is good, and the lights are really nice. The carrying case that it folds into is a huge plus in my books and I am already looking for some more of their products. If you do reviews or are just in the hobby, the price for what you get is outstanding. I can't wait to go around the house finding useless junk to take pictures of only to be blown away by the colors.

I must say this is a great product. It's cheap and it perfectly does the job. Besides is very easy to setup and to storage. It's perfect for toy photography I use it mostly for my IG account jstoysig and I totally love it. Here are some pics using the product.

Works great, small part photography

This was my second photo box I had ordered. The more rigid frame of this unit and easy pack-up were the big selling points for me. The last box I had would collapse under its own weight. I wish I had an overhead light but that will end up being a separate buy. The included lights are brighter than I expected. More light is always good for product images. A front light will help (not included) so you might want to add that to your shopping list. The phone stand works on my Galaxy S5 with the case installed. Overall this is a nice product. If you have looked at others, buy this one.

Perfect for puppies too!

Well lets just say my puppy walked over and got right in it! I snapped a few quick shots and it looks amazing! It is for my jewelry but he saw it just for him!

Professional photos made easy!

This photo studio is by far the best purchase I've made all year. The value here is incredible, and this item makes ALL the difference in lighting quality for your product photos. Everything you need is included, except the camera of course. The included tripod works well for steadying your camera. The light bulbs included with this kit are the perfect daylight temperature for professional images. The case is part of the light box, which makes setup and subsequent pack up a breeze. This kit travels very well. I did have to run a warm steam iron over the white backdrop cloth to de-wrinkle. This was not a problem at all however, and I was up and running with taking great photos very quickly. This light box is highly recommended!

Easy to use, great for photographing for online selling!

This photo set is incredibly easy to set up and use, even for an amateur online seller like myself. I bought this to take more "professional" looking photos for online selling, and it worked like a charm. It fits most items well, and the changeable backdrop colors are a nice feature. It's also incredibly easy to store or take with you, as it folds into its own storage bag, with compartments for the lights and tripod. The lights are easy to use, and while they come with a warning to not use more than an hour at a time, they do not overheat or feel warm to the touch after being on, even an hour. The phone / camera tripod is a nice idea, but in practice is hard to use with an iPhone since the clamping mechanism has a tendency to both touch the side buttons on the phone causing issues, and it can be hard to click "take photo" without knocking the tripod over - it is too top-heavy with a phone attached to be very useful. Besides the tripod being a bit useless, the only other thing to note is that the white backdrop will get dirty easily after placing items on it, and it isn't easy to clean (I don't believe it is machine washable). Also, the black and navy backdrops will get lint on them which you have to take care of or edit out of photos. Also, after arrival, you will need to steam or iron the backdrops so they are wrinkle free after shipping. (I keep the backdrops stored hanging on hangers to avoid having to re-iron).

This is a great little tabletop light box

This is a great little tabletop light box, and much easier to setup, use and take down than the one I bought a year or so ago. It comes with all you see: lights, mini tripod stand and cell phone clip holder, light box and rolled basic backdrops in white, red, black and blue. It folds down flat with pockets on the outside to store the lights, tripod and cell phone holder. I liked the fact that they rolled the backdrops so they weren’t very wrinkly because they weren’t folded. Here are a couple of pics I took (note the etched glasses are gifts that were taken with a feature on my iPhone called Portrait and then spotlight mono. I didn’t use the lights for the pic and the feature shoots black and white with a neat little “spotlight” in front of the glasses and without much glare even though it used the flash). The mini tripod is a flimsy little thing and it took me putting it into various configurations until I settled on having the holder hold my phone vertically. It held the phone securely so it was fine for my purposes. I highly recommend the light box!

I was wrong, and I'm so happy that I was.

From the moment I opened this package I knew this was a top notch product. My first impressions, just like yours, are coming from the price. You'll be surprised just like I am. I had expected material of the box to be more like the flimsy material used for reusable grocery shopping bags - it's not. The materials are much better, not flimsy, it's actually closer to something you'd put a laptop in - yes, that sturdy. My impression of the actual screen material was also wrong. Those rolls of fabric are not as sheer as I had envisioned I'd receive. These are quality rolls and the red and blue being velvet like. These are not loosely knit, they are quality materials and should last a long time - especially with the way they're meant to be used. So when I opened the lights, I thought "okay here's where they cut costs", because the lights are really light weight and plastic. The lights actually had me yelling "WOAH". They are super bright, with WHITE light. Not like a number of LED's that still put out a yellowish hue. They lit up the entire room, even though the room light was on, and the blinds letting in natural light ... Impressive. Even more impressive, was that you can replace the bulbs. That means quality to me, it really does because it's not a consumable -just the bulb. The tripod is a light-weight aluminum, but will be sturdy enough for a phone, and will likely adjust to the height you need for taking pictures of what's in your LimoStudio box. If there is a piece I will change out, it's the mount for holding the phone. The mount is similar to the wire-type you get with those inexpensive selfie-sticks. Which doesn't put me off at all. There are only two reasons to change out this piece. A) I have a big phone (LG Stylo 2) and this mount won't open wide enough especially if I have the case on my phone. B) You can't change orientation of the phone into portrait mode, to possibly get taller items - and for being something so minor, don't let that stop you from buying this amazing kit. Also of note, is that the box, folded into folio, includes 3 pockets on the front of the bag. I put two lights in one pocket, the center pocket held the mini-tripod, a 2nd tripod that I already had, and the mounting brackets (the one it came with, and another I already had). Plus a camera tripod mount (when I might need it), I still have an empty 3rd pocket, and I rolled all 4 color backdrops on one roll, and the folio flap holds that roll in place - and it takes up almost no space. It fit behind my other bags, or slides under my bed with ease. All in all - be wrong about this set of photo kit just like I was. I am very happy I didn't let the price be my first impression. I'm impressed.
