Lasagne essential

Homemade lasagne calls for ricotta, eggs, and cheese. The secret ingredient Nana added was the mint, not too much to overpower the cheese, just enough for a background hint and touch of color. I usually grow my own spearmint and peppermint, but when I need mint in the winter, McCormick's has the best balance of sweet aroma and peppery bite.

Dried and chopped spearmint leaves provide a lots of flavor to middle eastern cuisine. I sprinkle some on my pizza and we warm it in the microwave. You would be surprised how good it tastes
