Durable and very comfortable for it being a steel toe.
I work as a truck driver and also work at the dock as a Forklift operator. I read some reviews from others and I just can’t believe how some would give less than 5 stars when you have to consider the fact of how you use it and for how long it’s been used. Right out the box, this is a very durable shoes, but if you’re using it to beat the heck out of it right off the bat, anything won’t last very long, but if you’re talking about just having a safe and comfortable working shoes, that you can use daily, this is definitely must have. I have had CAT shoes before and this is on another level. The Steel on the toe goes further back than what I’m use to having. It’s more expensive but the way I look at it, a couple more dollars will pay for the longevity. I hope I helped you make your decision.

Saved my job and me feet!
These shoes literally saved my job and my feet. I work in a warehouse and it's mandatory to have safety ties AND metatarsal protection. I can't wear ANY shoes that have internal met guards. My foot is just too high at the bridge. I was wearing keen mt vernons which are great boots, however HOT as Hates and the fact that I have big calves the back of the boot that met my calves always made my calves sore. My feet were also drenched by the end of the day, even with diff kinds of socks (including wool). These low top shoes completely fixed that! I couples these shoes with an external met guard I found on amazon (you tie your shoe strings through it) and it worked perfectly. I had to tie some fabric into the very end (where toe cap starts) though to create a cushion btwn the met guard and shoe to prevent the met guard from "catching" the rubber toe cap on the shoes when I crouch down ... but now it works like a charm. These shoes are COOL. They breathe like running shoes. Lots of mesh. Not waterproof though... but if I'm gonna be out in the elements I quickly switch to my mt vernons. I wear a size 12 in running shoes and pretty much all other boots and these were spot on as far as fit in a size 12. They look long when worn for some reason (i think it's an optical illusion) but they are the same length as other boots I have that don't look that way. They just look long and skinny etc. no big deal for me though. Traction is awesome. I've been on wet pavement / snow and ice no problem. NEGATIVES: the sides (elastic part) right below the ankles kind of dig into that area of my foot (right below the ankle) and I start feeling it by the end of the day sometimes. The insole is pretty worthless. I got a dr scholls sport insole and it works very well. The show string thing is useless. I cut the whole thing off and bought some other boot laces and installed. And extra $2 but worth it and not that big of deal. I've only had them for about a month so I can't report on wear, but so far I'm more than pleased. Hope this helps.

Solid Shoe - Survived an 18 hour day on feet
I bought these work shoes for my husband who works in a manufacturing facility. He has typically purchased steel toe work boots for around the same price and they last about a year and he complains that his feet hurt at the end of the day. When the box arrived, the first thing I noticed was the stylish appearance. They look good. That is hardly a priority but it's nice. I read reviews about the laces sliding and being difficult. This was probably due to the fact that they are the cinch tie that are common now in triathlon shoes. My husband has no complaints about them and has said he would just swap them out if they begin to bother him. The true test, and why these shoes got 5 stars, was his recent 18 hour day where he was on his feet the entire time. He had no pain in his feet, legs or back, so they passed the test. They seem like they will last at least the average year. No problems with heaviness or driving or anything like that. My husband complains really little and is pretty tough and rugged, so please take that into consideration.

High quality, perfect fit, better than most I have had.
First impressions, and will update every 6 months or when something changes. First impressions: perfect fit and great support, you can tell it's a quality build. Does not feel like it needs to break in. Most steel toe shoes or boots have issues with my little toe not fitting completely and rubbing but this pair is near perfect. Covers the tip of my little toe and does not rub. It's a very exact fit so if you want to add additional inserts go a half size over. Dont even notice I'm wearing them.

Great shoes!
I work twelve hours mostly on my feet. These shoes are comfortable! Comfortable These shoes are not as comfortable as running shoes, but before I bought them from Amazon I tried on numerous pairs in a store. These were the most comfortable out of more than 10 pairs I tried. In other steel toe shoes, my feet were sore at the end of the day but not in these! They are comfortable enough that I sometimes wear them casually outside of work. Laces I love the drawstring- no more tying my shoes numerous times per day. Slip these shoes on and off quickly! Durability Soles lasted over a year without much sign of wear. I bought a second pair because work gives annual safety shoe reimbursement. Leather remained in good shape too! The drawstring laces did start to fall apart after one year. I do not know if they are under warranty, nor do I know if they are replaceable. Old-fashioned laces would work fine in these shoes. As you can see from the photos, they are in nearly perfect condition after 6 months use 40+ hours every week! Several other people at work have these shoes, and I think the style suits anyone. I will continue to buy these shoes when I receive my annual shoe reimbursement from work!

Great shoe. Real leather
I like these shoes a lot. They ARE breathable but on the downside they are also kind of heavy. Definitely made with real leather which is a rarity in this type of shoe. At the end of every day I have to clean them because they get filthy (I'm an electrician). But they clean up really nice and easy. Lastly they seem really durable I hope they last for at least a year.

Very well built
So I'm on my feet all day in a machine shop. Heat in the winter, fans in the summer. I hate wearing work boots and switched to steel toe sneakers numerous years ago. I used to use a kart brand one and I'd go through about 2 pairs a year. I walk over 15000 steps during my work day. Understandable. I saw these and my wife had been telling me to purchase a decent pair of boots ap I upgraded from my 25$ pair to these. They have held up exceptionally. I like the draws string laces. Though they do seem to loosen after a while. The boots are well ventilated which is a plus. My feet sweat alot and the venting helps alot. I've had them a year and they haven't started to fall apart yet. I've very surprised and happy. Great boot

Best Work Shoe I've Found
I purchased these shoes almost two years ago. I'm a machinist, so I'm constantly working with heavy metals, walking over metal chips (basically tiny razor blades), and spend 8-18 hours a day on my feet. The insoles lasted about 18 months before my feet started to hurt and I needed to replace them, but as soon as I replaced the insoles, all was well, and given the amount of use they get, 18 months was a very good run. After almost two years, I've finally worn them down enough that it was time to replace them, so I just ordered the exact same pair again. They breath better than any work shoe I've ever worn (or for that matter, better than any normal shoe I've worn), and with the tension laces they're just loose enough to slip on and off without damaging the back, but still tight enough that they don't move around, wobble, or slip intentionally. Worth every penny and more

Almost 2 years of heavy usage - No Complaints!
My husband works in a warehouse on concrete with harsh materials. None of his shoes ever last past 6 months. I mean they looked horrible, coming apart, dirty looking just horrible! He isn’t hard on shoes it’s just his work conditions. We have even tried both work shoes and work boots. So I went online and started looking up shoes good for concrete floors. Honestly, this was my second choice. The first choice was another brand name didn’t last which cost about the same price. Even with our other buys we were spending $50.00 plus on his shoes. So we were buying cheap shoes. I learned about the Keen brand on Amazon:) and no tears, easy to rinse off. They don’t look horrible and filthy. We are both overly pleased with this brand! Well little over a year his feet started hurting really bad everyday. He was ready to buy another pair. I’m looking at the shoes like but they still look so good! So we decided to try Keen insoles first since that option was a little bit cheaper and they received great reviews. We cut them to his size and put them right on top of the other ones. He had instant relief! (He had a little extra room in his shoes already). So they fit perfect with both insoles. This brand rocks!! We will continue buying Keen work shoes/boots and insoles. No more buying boots or shoes every 3-6 months!! Yes they are expensive (shoes) but they are worth it!!! It’s been about a year and a half with these same shoes. We bought the insoles about 6 months ago!! He could probably use a new pair but they aren’t tearing apart at the soles which is a super plus! His feet are aren’t hurting with the new Keen insoles, that’s a BIG PLUS!!!

Would recommend for sure
These shoes are great I wear them everyday for work, I bought this pair for my husband and he loves them. For steal toes they stay pretty cool because of all the mesh so his feet stay dryer then some of his other boots. They are nice I would recommend them for sure. The one thing I will say is they take a couple weeks to break in and the soles are not super comfy, there just isn't a ton of padding but we like them I guess it's more of a personal preference thing. He is on his feet most the day and he still likes them so, yeah I think they are a good purchase.
