Works as Advertised,
Used on my Gaming PC with the 980 Ti. Cable is smooth and no problems displaying. I use it with my Pixie PX277 monitor 144HZ IPS monitor. I needed an extra foot and the supplied 3 door was kinda tight so I went with this cable. I'd highly recommend the monitor, if you're on a budget, and I'd highly recommend this cable if you need one. Can't beat the price or quality, 144HZ is smooth as butter, and Borderlands 2 on 2K 200FPS+ is a whole new game. Can't believe I used an Xbox to play this game when there was so much I was missing. Oh yeah, it shipped same day no problems with anything.

It works
I got this cable (3') for a new Dell U2719D monitor. I wanted the DisplayPort cable rather than than the HDMI cable which came with the monitor. I plugged it in and it works perfectly. I realize that several commentators have mentioned that the cable is not symmetrical in the way it works and that flipping the connections between the computer and the monitor can straighten out an erratic feed (the two ends look identical).. In my case, there has not been any problem so I must have plugged it in correctly. So, I must have plugged it in correctly. Anyway, it works and I'm very happy.

I should have gotten these long ago
I had been using cobbled-together DVI cables with display port adapter solution for a long time, and this never seemed to be terribly reliable. Now with these specifically made display port to display port cables, I'm noticing a much more stable image on my monitor. I also like the clean look of a cable without adapters bulging. The 10 foot length was perfect for easily reaching the monitor furthest from the computer case with plenty of spare for cable management. The 6 foot length was good for reaching the nearer of my two monitors -- again with plenty of extra cable for proper cable management.

WONDERFUL PRODUCT, WELL MADE
Retail store operators complain all the time about Amazon, but in reality, I purchased a graphics card and monitor, that supported display Port . So here I am with all his equipment, and the store, I might add, is a major electronics store, they did not have the cable. I went to a dedicated computer supply store, they didn't have this cable either. So I got home put in order to Amazon, a few days later the cable arrived. I have purchased cables in this company before and as always, top-notch product. Although this cable is easy to use, plug one end, and plug in the other, in the package there is a installation guide with, specifications, and a troubleshooting guide. If the cable does not work the first time you hook it up, don't panic, it,s not the cable. Please check with the equipment manual, and it will take care of any problems you might have.

DisplayPort Easy Connection and Good Quality
Bought several sets of these for dual monitor set-ups at work. Haven't failed us yet in over 2 years of use. Inexpensive compared to other vendors for those that might use Staples or other business accounts. Well worth it if you've got DisplayPort PC and monitor hook ups. Works like HDMI with audio. Would be great for a single monitor setup as well. The cables are thick and durable. I actually prefer these to HDMI connections since they lock on instead of just plug in. HDMI tends to weigh down on some connections since they don't have that locked in fitting.

Works great
Works great. I hate the displayport clips though. If tension is good for HDMI then why does displayport need irritating clips that make it hard to press? Were PC people like "you know how irritating it is when you can't get a LAN cable out of the socket because of the boot over the clip? What if we were to make that same effect on video cables? That would be great. Worth it to not have to mess with overscan and crap like that. Plus my videocard is mostly DP ports now.

Thicker than I expected, but not overly stiff
This cable is a lot bigger than I expected it to be, but still remains very flexible. I use this cable to connect my work laptop to my Dell 23" monitor when working from home. The cable needed to be flexible because it runs about a foot to the back of my desk and then takes a 90-degree turn downward to get out of sight (I hate seeing cables on my desk). This bend in the cable has introduce no degradation of video quality and doesn't appear to have caused any damage to the cable or jacket either. Because I work from home only one day per week, this cable is plugged in or unplugged at least twice per week. After a few months of this light abuse, the connector is still in excellent shape. At first, I had to get used to the push-button release, as I'm used to using HDMI cables which don't have any sort of latches. Despite some accidental abuse there, the connector still connects with a satisfying click and holds the cable firmly in place. Video quality through this cable is excellent. I've run a number of tests on it and don't see any noise or artifacts, and the colors on the Dell monitor are as faithfully reproduced as they are with the DVI cable I've had connected to my gaming desktop for years. I can't speak for any longer distances as I don't own those cables, but the 6-foot cable is great. All in all, this cable feels like a high quality cable and has excellent video quality. Highly recommended!

Nicely built and definately does whats on the tin.
I havent had any issues with this myself. Though others are badmouthing this cable, I have had no problems. Sometimes I feel like people writting reviews just don't know what they are ordering or ehat the needed to order. In other words, they just do not know ehat they are doing. You cant just buy a canle and expect it to eork for every system and every setup on earth. Whatever you connect it to on both ends has to be and support the goal you are going for.

Great for use with Benq Photo Display and RX580
Works great with my Benq Photo calibrated display (with lens hood and HDR). Connected to RX580 on my Mac Pro 5,1. Works great. Like the locking aspect, which helps since the Benq has down-facing DP plug. I have both 6 foot and 10 foot cables. Started with 6 ft, then switched to 10 ft to run cable behind desk vs off to side to the Mac. Obviously, you need to hold down the release tab when inserting into DP port for it to "be all the way in" ... I don't know how durable the end points would be if you had to re/dis/connect in/out the cables often, but in my case, will be "plug in until I move" so not worried about that. Look to be gold plated, but not sure on that. So far so good. Using in work station environment 10 hours a day doing copy editing, photoshop, video etc.

Cable Matters DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable (DP to DP Cable) 3 Feet - 4K Resolution Ready
+1 - Item arrived on time, and not damaged +1 - Item is as described +3 - Item performs as expected, and connected properly Thoughts: These are nice cables. They are a bit thicker than your average cable, which also makes them pretty stiff. The cable comes with a sticker on the connector to make you aware of the push button for DP. On both sets of cables I got, the sticker left residue that I had to rub off. Not a big deal, but annoying. With these cables I was able to achieve max resolutions on my 4k 27" monitors, and the pictures looks great.
