nice old coin

This coin was in good shape with most detail sharp and clear BUT the wear on the high spots of the coin kept its value down.It was still worth the price I paid. My coin did have a defect on the edge but it seems that it may be a void on the blank before it was struck. Looking through a jeweler's loupe it was not discolored in the void, same color as the rest of the coin. May make it worth more.......or less,who knows. It still is a good coin

Very Nice Coin

Mine arrived looking exactly like the photo. Very readable. I needed a coin that was minted in 1864 and this did the trick. A wonderful addition to my George Washington Carver collection, being his birth year... as far as anybody can tell. And it's nice to have a piece of history from such an important year in general.

Thanks this is a very nice coin i love the dubble die date but the Civil War was from 1861 to 1864 this coin is 1865 but i love it and will keep it.
