I love that this keeps my daughter from getting a diaper rash. We just spray on after each diaper change. Lightly coats area and prevents most diaper rash. The cream is better if a rash is already there as it’s thicker. I have used this product for 2 years. (P.S. a husband or other family member might not be comfortable putting diaper cream on your baby, but there is no excuse with the spray)

Out of the many products I have tried for my kids when it comes to butt paste, this is the only one that really did the trick. Many of the other ones I tried did not get rid of the rash quickly. I put this on and within a day or two, at its worst, it went away. I would recommend this butt cream to any mom who is looking for a solution to butt rash. It is also great for chaffing for adults as well. After I used this cream, I wondered why i never thought to try this before. Absolutely love it and will continue to purchase it

I first learned about Dr Smiths on my pediatric rotation in medical school. We had our first son during that time and the pediatrician I was working with recommended this to all of her patients as well as myself. We tried it and now I do the same. It is a bit pricey but its worth the cost. We have yet to need any other diaper cream for either of our boys. Its very thick and easily applied, stays where its put and isn't terribly messy to apply. Spreads great and gives great coverage, not greasy and gross like some creams. I actually apply it by hand and just wipe off my fingers afterwards with a paper towel and its gone. So far with both kids, Dr Smith's has resolved every rash (even the painful ones) within a few applications, most within 24 hours, in fact many with just one application. Obviously rashes are all different, but its been a life saver for us and the kids. Safe enough to use with every diaper change. We have started using it for rashes elsewhere with great success too. I highly recommend this product. I tell everyone about it.

Dr. Smith was my Pediatrition as a baby when I lived in San Antonio. All his products are great, but THIS. This is the best!! My baby and toddler think the spray is funny and I don't have to deal with waterproof hands :-P We have one at every changing station in the house!

I don't know that this works necessarily any better than any of the other diaper pastes we have tried, but the ease of use is AMAZING. I love keeping this spray in the diaper bag. Worth it's weight in gold in that capacity. When on the go it's so nice not to have to get it on your hands, the changing pad, clothes, their legs....and whatever else lol.

New packaging. Please note they have just completely changed the packaging and logo within the past month so the picture on Amazon is not updated. The previous packaging had an older man on the front, now it's 2 bears. This is by far my favorite diaper cream. It doesn't burn like some of the other creams do and it works so fast. It also works on chaffed skin, we tried it out on an adult and there were no complaints of pain/discomfort, only relief. I have applied it on horrible diaper rashes before bed and they are completely gone the next morning. I would pair this with my favorite baby gadget, the BabyBum (it is a diaper cream applicator, works awesome!)

We've been using Dr. Smith's since 2011 when my oldest daughter got a pretty nasty diaper rash. I tried all kinds of creams and treatments - Butt Paste, Desitin, A+D, Aquaphor, diaper cream packed with baby powder to create a "dry barrier." Nothing worked and every time I changed her diaper it seemed to be getting worse. My sister suggested Dr. Smith's and it was amazing! It's thick, it doesn't smell too strong, and it works FAST. The 8 ounce is a good sized jar and will last several months. We never buy anything else now with two kids. At the hint of diaper rash coming on I'll put it on my one-year old and within the day it is usually gone. Cannot recommend this product enough to new moms!

This is the only diaper cream that has worked for us (& we have used quite a few)! It's part of our subscribe & save program in fact! We have seen the worst kind of diaper rashes go away very quickly every time we have used this particular cream instead of the others. It does not have a horrible odor either and the babies have never minded it so that's a good sign! It really does give almost instant relief if your child is suffering from diaper rashes. I don't like to admit it but I do panic a little bit when we are out of it. I can't say enough good things about it. It has really worked for us and it's definitely is keeper. We've always got it for under $10 but it's worth it. Highly recommend if you need something that actually works.

My 1 year old has been suffering from diaper rash since she was about 6 months old. On the good days, she was "only" red and a little bumpy. On the bad days, she was blistering and bleeding. Changing her was a nightmare. I could see how much pain she was in every single time. We kept using Desitin hoping it would somehow start working. Then I decided I just needed to try anything. I had some samples of Dr Smiths buried in a drawer I had received and forgotten about months earlier. I gave it a try. Within a day, she suddenly wasn't red any more. I thought it was a fluke. It's been 3 weeks now, every diaper change we use just a little bit of Dr Smiths and every day she is rash free! I am amazed and thankful. My daughter is no longer in pain for the first time in months. For that I am grateful. Diaper changes are so much less challenging. This stuff is a miracle. I have told everyone I know about it!

My wife and I love this spray. We could not find it at Target stores anymore so decided to get this spray on a purchase plan so it is shipped to us monthly, instead of us having to remember to get on and order one. There are other sprays for diaper ointments out there, just we have not found one we like, that foams up like Dr. Smith's does, and most seem to just be liquid running down the cheeks we have to wipe up afterwards. I wish more stores carry this product, but I guess since it does come with a hefty price tag, and my budget is thin, this is just one thing I do not want to waver on. The spray lid turns left and right to open and close the spray area, which is nicer than other products where it just comes with a cap anyone can take off or you could lose (which we did then found the old cap later on behind the changing table). The only down side to this product is the size of it. I really wish it was made bigger, but since it does foam up and stays put it does last longer. There is a smell from the spray, not a bad smell, but if you are to close to the spray it could get stuck in your nose. As a main stay at home dad I am always looking for the best deals on the market and also like to share my feedback on them when I find them or do not find them to warn others about them. My opinion on this purchase is that it is well worth the extra dollars to get this. It stays put when you spray it on, and not wasted like the cheaper sprays which are more water than anything I have a one year old and a six year old, and I have used this product on both. Normally they say "you get what you paid for", well here, it is actually a good thing. I try to always provide helpful advise. If I have please click yes, if not please respond so I can try and help clarify any questions you might have about this product.
