This is definitely a must have for travel. Our toddler likes to dart all over the place...not something you need at a crowded ball game or in the security strict airport. It took him one time to get used to it, and now he lets us slip it on. I love that it adjusts to his size, and the handle is super easy to use. I also love that he can't get out of it as easy as those bracelet ones. I'm definitely glad we purchased this.

Love this! It is very compacts and makes for easy packing and our son loves it! We love to use it when we want to give him his freedom to explore but don't want him to run off because he rips his hand out of ours. It is a great comfort that we know he is safe and nearby! It is adjustable for many sizes and ages. We also love to use it when we are out on the kayaks - we put it on him under his life jacket then loop the "leash" portion through our life jacket and clip it to the attached clip to prevent him from deciding to jump overboard and we are able to keep him safely on the kayak.

He Loves It!

My grandson will be 3 in December. While waiting for his sister to get off the school bus he darted away and was almost hit by a car. It was terrifying! The very next day I ordered the Diono Sure Steps Child Harness, For Children from 2-4 Years of Age, Black, which had great reviews. He did not resist wearing it and we don't care if other people may think it is strange to have him in a harness - it will save his life! Don't hesitate to purchase - easy to put on and better to keep your child safe than have a tragedy occur. Highly recommend!

Worked like a charm!

So I never thought I would be the parent that would by a harness (leash) for my child! But for her own safety I figured this would be my best option.I bought it to take to my parents lake cabins where they have a huge dock that we all fish from and is not the most kid friendly. The railing is not close enough together and it would scare me every time she would get close to the edge. This harness allowed me to keep her within my reach at all times. Now, did she like not being able to go where she wanted, not at all, but she eventually got used to it. The fit was perfect for her ( 20 months old, 20 lbs.) It also fit my 4 year old well (tried it on her just for fun). But overall it was great and just what we needed! I would purchase this again in the future!

If your child is a runner, you need this.

I bought 2 of these for my 3year old. She constly is getting away from us and running into the street. We have had some close calls. We had a buddy backpack harness but we would have to take it off to put her in or out of her car seat and that's when she would run. I LOVE this because you don't have to take it off you can put your child right in the car seat with it. It's not bulky or uncomfortable. We live on a very busy street will not leave the house with out it till my child learns the danger of traffic.

A must-have for your next vacation with a toddler

this is a must have for a trip to Disneyland was a lifesaver for my one-year-old! The race we lost our first one and I just bought a new one for our next trip! My only complaint is needs a small carrying bag because it gets tangled in my backpack throughout the day easy to put on easy to take off Velcro is strong and I liked that there was two sizes to have the leash short or long we use both

Fan-freakin-tasted product! Bought this in hopes of being able to let go of my 14 month old’s hand while he walks outside. Works great! Gives him the independence to roam freely and gives me peace of mind that he isn’t going to dash away from me or fall face forward and get hurt badly. Velcro is very secure and with the design, he didn’t even notice it was on. For five dollars, you will be thoroughly impressed with the quality. For sure thought I’d be getting some cheap china made product but that wasn’t the case at all.

A must for parents of mobile multiples

Do you have twins? YOU NEED THIS! I have 2 year old twins and was super sad that I could not take them out for a walk around the neighborhood because one kid wanted to go one way and the other the opposite way. With this I keep them safe while they can walk at their pace and explore. I took this to the zoo and instead of having them be in a stroller the whole time and have a crying fest midway, midway I let them walk with the harness on and I was a happy mom and they got to explore, look at the enclosures up close and they were so tired at the end that they wanted to go back on the stroller. These are comfy, easy to put on and they are at a great price. I was afraid of the looks, but people actually asked where we got them because the kids were super happy at mom's arm distance.

I love this harness!

I bought this for my grandson who is just starting to walk and it has been great! It fits great and easy to put on. I am able to take him for walks and keep him safe while he is able to feel some sense of freedom without his hand being held. It has prevented many falls, as I am able to catch his stumbles with this harness. Before using this, I rarely took him out for walks because it was such a struggle. It's only a short period of time that a child needs something like this when they first learn to walk, but it is invaluable, especially for the inexpensive price. Will be great for crowded places also for safety concerns for the next year or so I'm sure. Great product!

Peace of mind for worried parents with active children

I love love love this leash. Normally, I wouldn't leash my kid, but let's face it. I'm taking a 4-year-old that barely speaks English to a Spanish speaking country. I need to keep her within arms reach! It's too easy for them to run off! I put this on my daughter and told her to TRY to break out of it. Keep in mind she's a tank and 44lbs of solid muscle. She couldn't break out of it no matter how hard she tried!
