Exceeds my expectation
Lighted when dark. Great night time illumination. Exceeded my expectations. Simple and elegant. Use in my bedroom so I can see the time in the dark.

Wall clock with illuminated hands
We have had this clock for about half a year now and we love it. We had no problems whatsoever with loose hands, etc. described by other reviewers. Overall quality seems to be adequate, not worse than of other clocks in $20-$30 price range. The hour and minute hands glow with a very pleasant green light, not too bright, not too dim. The brightness of the glow is comparable to brightness of an average electronic alarm clock. The hands are better illuminated at the center, where the light diode is, but still are very well visible till the tips. The glow from the hands gives enough light to distinguish the numerals. The light sensor works fine. It switches the glow on even when the room is not completely dark. For instance, TV or lights in the hall (through an open door) are not enough to keep the glow off. It is only when at least one lamp is actually on inside the room, the hands do not glow. The clock keeps time well, we did not have to adjust time even once over the last six months. The batteries which came with the clock are also still ok. The clock is quieter than clocks in the same and cheaper price categories (though, you still hear the clicking very well during the night). Overall, we are very happy with the clock and would not hesitate to recommend it. UPDATE: We have been using the clock for two and a half years now and still had not a single problem. We have changed the batteries once since my original review, may be a year ago. The clock keeps time as accurate as on the first day, the hands still glow with the same not-too-bright--not-too-dim pleasant light. UPDATE, Dec 2018: 5 years and the clock still works fine.
