I so love these. I had bought a two piece set of the same style years ago and they have held up great. I had this larger set in my wish list for over a year and decided to finally treat myself. Visually I can't tell the difference between the ones I've had for seven years and the new ones I just got. They hold up really well and even the painted bottoms have held their original color. Other generic pans that I've had in the past were blackened on the bottoms with the teflon scratched up. I see no scratches on the Paula Deen pans which made me feel comfortable to buy more. It pays to buy a trusted brand.

I was kinda if about buying this set. Because of the reviews I read. But I feel in love with them when I was on trip and the home we stayed in had them. Now, I happy to say no disappointment from this customer. I have not run into any problems with them. Only down fall is not dishwasher safe. But that's ok they will last longer. Only use wood utensil or plastic when cooking so I dont scratch them.

Oh, my god. I love these pots and pans. I got the main set separately and ordered a second large pot to havd on hand just in case, and have now had the set for 4 months. The outside is a beautiful blue with just enough specks to decorate and the inside is a nice, sleek black. This are the easiest pots to clean, too! If I wash it by hand (which I normally do, with a rag, not a sponge-on-a-stick), everything slides right off. There were even a couple of nights where, due to time constraints, I had to leave dirty pots in the sink overnight. The next day, STILL just as easy to clean with a little hot water and soap! I've never even had to really soak these--they all clean up so well. Lately, I've been slowly trying them out in the dishwasher to try and save time (and prevent 24hour dirty pots) and they've done exceptionally well on the top rack. I have not put them on the bottom, and sometimes they come out with white specks from the dishwasher, but I'm 98% positive it's due to my ancient dishwasher and not these pots (the spots wipe off easily). No damage to them at all from the dishwasher! It should also be noted that I DO NOT use metal on these pots, only wood or plastic, to prevent scratching. My boyfriend once used metal and one of the pots does have scratches on it, but so far it hasn't torn up and the covering hasn't started to come off in our food like I've had some pots do before. All in all, HIGHLY recommend it. All of them.

I remember reading reviews that the purple coating was coming off of pots and pans. Odd, since I've put mine through hell and back since I bought them five months ago and they've held up well. This is my first "adult" cookware set. I had a cheap ceramic knock-off set before that cost about the price of a manicure at a mall, lasted just about as long too. This Paula Deen set is the bee's knees though, which I found surprising, probably from the bias I have towards her. I hardly have to use soap on these, the non-stick really does wonders and crusty day old egg splatter glides right off. (Gross, I know) They really are beautiful and some of the easiest things to wash, makes not having a dishwasher bearable. So happy with this purchase.

This is my second set of these pots and pans. I purchased my last set eight years ago and used them a of minimum six days a week before the polytetrafluoroethylene came off. Two of my original pots still work great. The pots do turn a little brown on the underside/outside after a while, but this does not effect anything. Otherwise, they still looked brand new. I highly recommend this set.

We bought this pot and pan set because we recently moved into a house that has a glass-top electric stove (not induction) and using our cast iron pan is out of the question (for fear of damaging the stovetop) and our (very expensive) stainless steel set just wasn't working right - for whatever reason. Why we love it: * Cooks evenly - heat is well distributed throughout the entire pan * Non-stick is amazing - food just slides right out of the pan, making cooking a breeze * Similar results to a cast-iron skillet (our favorite method of cooking) * Super easy to wash (as alluded to above) * Cooking seems to go more quickly, without having to worry too much about burning or undercooked areas Things we like about it: * They're pretty. LOL. The red, speckled design is a nice accent in our kitchen. Things that might not be so great (time will tell): * The handles are metal, riveted to the pots and pans, but have thick plastic on them. They seem cheaper quality than the pans themselves. Things we don't like: * None of the lids have the pressure vent hole, meaning that the lids rattle around when steam/heat builds up in the cookware. Overall, after just a couple days of use, we're really happy with this set. If I have more to add later, I"ll come back and update this review.

I purchased this because my original red Paula Deen set (now well over five years old) was losing the nonstick finish on a few of the pans. These seem to be an almost identical design as my original set and I am very happy about that. Random side note, the measuring spoons are sub-mediocre (large weird rooster on handle and lacking the crisp edges of a metal spoon), but that's not why I got the set. The lids are well fitting, the pots sit flat on the stove, and I have been very impressed about the longevity of my original set. I only hand wash them which has been a contributing factor to their longevity. I have a friend who sent hers through the dishwasher and the drying process ruined the glossy red finish. None of the rubber handles of my original set have any issues. I would definitely recommend this set.

I just bought a new set of these after having my old set for about 7 years. I replaced it because we had people living with us and they abused them. I loved my old set and I love my new set. Amazing quality, I was worried they would be made different after so long but it's great! I have a gas stove now and was worried about scorch marks, but I've had it on high heat and no scorch marks to speak of. I love these pans and I really think a good 7 years is worth it. No one else will be using them this time around so I'm sure they will last longer. I recommend silicone utensils just in case, but I used bamboo for years with no issues. Def hand wash after using.

Came packaged nicely- with no damage to any of the pieces. I've only had them for a week, so they haven't had heavy use but my mom had the blue speckled set that she's had for years and they are just now starting to show wear for her. I absolutely love Paula Deen's cookware! Also- aren't they so pretty?! Cooked some alfredo chicken in the skillet last night and it was cooked to perfection. Literally not a spot stuck and I didn't have to put anything in it. Washing was also a breeze as all I had to do was wipe it down with a little water. I will update this review if I find anything different with time.
