I've lived and traveled all over the world so I've used many types of power plugs or adapters for many electrical equipments. This design is the best I've seen. They are expertly made of good quality materials -sturdy; they should last a very long time. The ability to put them together so that the cord can go in any direction is marvelous; it means that they are more easily and neatly arranged on a powerstrip or outlet. I bought them for all of my Kindles - one for the Kindle itself and another one for the keyboard. Well worth the price and they work for other items such as smart phones. A 'must have' item for any traveler.

I took this on a vacation to a 220V location and it was really useful. The adapters change by twisting them on and off the main body of the charger. The 220V plug was extended far enough to fit into the recessed sockets that are typical in 220 Volt-Land. The other nice thing about the design is that the adapters, when installed, fit smoothly and almost seamlessly onto the charger. The fast charger allows you to charge up the Kindle faster than the standard unit, so it's easy to keep the Kindle up and running. I used my Kindle Fire as a tablet, accessing mail and web via apps available for free. Along with the Wifi so prevalent in hotels and other locations, it was pretty simple to stay in touch until we departed for a really remote area and had no more internet (or even radio and TV) for a portion of the trip. But while I was in "civilization", I was able to link up to my email. Meanwhile, I was able to charge the Kindle and use it the entire trip. I noticed that on one of the planes, the charger outlet was a DC plug (like a 12V automobile plug) so be warned that this may not work on an airplane.

Awesome that you can use one charger pack in so many different countries. I bought this for a trip to Greece I'll be taking at the end of the year, but didn't need to buy a separate charger for use at home, since there is a US compatible charger as well! Nice money saver. And it's very easy to change charging prongs, which is great.

So far so good!!!! I have not travelled outside of North America so I have not had a chance to test out the other plug heads but it charges my kindle HDX well as well as my cellphones ( Android only). I dislike anything Apple so... Get it especially if you are travelling outside of this continent as it has so many different plug heads and it automatically converts between 110Volts and 220 or 240 Volts used pretty much everywhere else!!!

Great charger! I take just the adapter and the European plug for the cruise, and the plug for whatever country we're visiting. On some ships, we're lucky to have one EU and one US plug, so this really comes in handy.

If you like to travel, this is awesome. I used this in India and the Maldives, and it worked great. It was also pretty much the same price as a regular Kindle charger, so it's a wonderful value. I am keeping the adapters in my carry-on pocket so I will always have it when I travel to other countries. Also, it has a USB input, so you if you have a charger for another device (I used it with my iphone) with a USB output, you can charge other devices as well.

I recently went out of the country and took this charging kit with me. Changing the different plugs adapters was extremely easy, and I had no problems with the setup and charging my Kindle. In fact the charger that is included in this kit is a slightly larger wattage than the adapter that came with my Fire HDX, which allowed for faster charging. Since returning home, I have attached the US 110W adapter and am using it as an additional adapter. The one issue that would have made this item better would have been if they had included a carrying bag for the adapters. Yes, I'd love a nice carrying case, but even if that wasn't an option, having a cloth bag with a draw string would have been preferable since some people may need multiple adapters when the travel.

While I have not had a chance to put this product to use, I can say that usually anything I buy from Amazon is a quality product. I CAN say that this has several devices to fit several outlets in various countries. I look forward to using it the next time I travel.

I do a lot of international travelling, so I have bought just about every conversion and adapter kit on the market. This is the best-made and most versatile I have seen to charge electronic devices, including but not limited to the Kindles. It is a powerful 9 watts and will work safely on any device using a micro-B USB charging port. It can also be used with non-standard devices, like Apple products or older electronics having mini-B ports, as long as you have the appropriate USB cord for it. It can be used in almost every country (the standard European "C" plug can be used in most outliers like the South American countries and Israel because their plugs are dual type). The charger is as small as it could be for such a powerful charger, is very durable, and compact. I like it because the interchangeable plugs actually form part of the charger. I have a bad tendency to leave adapters in the wall socket and just remove my US charger. The next hotel guest gets a free adapter. This is at a new price of $29.99($10 less than before). This makes it a very good value, considering the design and quality. Unlike the standard PowerFast charger for the Kindle Fire, this kit comes with a USB cord, so it is complete. An added bonus is that the adapters can twist on in any direction, so you can position the USB cord on the side, top or bottom.

We took this and several other charges to Chile and Argentina. Most chargers list all kinds of countries but few mention anything about South America. Once we figured out how to use this it worked extremely well in both Chile and Argentina. The connections for the 2 countries are different but the right adapters were included. The key is figuring out that the USB port is detachable and connects to whichever plug works in the country you are in. There is one for US/Canada and it works very well also. This charged a Kindle, an older Samsung phone and an IPad.
