It's a memory card...
Everyone is upset about how expensive the memory cards are. Yes, they are a little pricey. Sony designed the 4GB and 8GB cards for people who just want space for game saves and possibly transfer over a couple PSP titles that a person with a PSP Go may have purchased. The 16GB and 32GB are for people who do not want to purchase the actual game cards. Yes it can be a hassle even for the people who purchase the larger cards. People like me who want to transfer over all my PSP Go games do not have enough space. It will be a constant delete and re-download process depending on how you game. That is why I will leave the majority of my games on my PSP Go and accept the Vita system for what it is. I buy the Vita, memory card and a few games. I insert memory card and game into the Vita and play. It works as advertised and that is why I give it 5 stars.

14GB, Not 16GB!
Ordered on sale. These memory cards at not worth the price of $35+ as listed but they are well worth the $20 I paid for them especially since they don't offer the full 16GB that is advertised. On my memory card I currently have: Gravity Rush Stranger's Wrath Uncharted: Golden Abyss Soul Sacrifice Hotline Miami DBZ Demo Terraira Demo Various save data I have roughly 6025MB of memory left. If you are one to delete games and have physical copies, this isn't much of a problem at all. I do recommend getting PS+. They save your game downloads and you can install/uninstall as you wish on your Vita/account. This is a place holder for maybe upgrading to a 32GB or 64GB much later on but I just have to do my best to complete and delete games that come free on PS+.

BUY YOUR VITA MEMORY ON AMAZON
This is a great product! I feel it is only because of how I bought it. this retails for $60USD gamestop is selling it for $60USD do not buy this item from there. I've downloaded 2 games from the PSN store ( Final Fantasy VI & IX ) and saved many games and still have 13 gigs left. remember the system uses 2GB for this item just to work so really your getting 14GB when you buy this witch for me is more then enough you should be able to download at least 5 games on here and still have space on here to save. I'm happy with this product to the max even more so since I got it off amazon for 30.00 when it retails for $60. People talk about the price of sony's proprietary memory cards but I feel they don't shop around enough to find the best deal. If you want a memory card for your vita start here with the 16GB

BEST SIZE FOR THE PRICE!
I've owned a Vita since it came out and the biggest complaint I've had was the fact that the memory cards are so expensive. Luckily, this card wasn't too expensive and I've actually been able to fit a good amount of content on it. I have literally 10 games or so on this card. Ninja Gaiden, Wipeout, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and a bunch more. Not just little PSN games. I say this card was in the pricing sweet spot and has really made a huge difference in the amount of time I use my Vita. The best part about it is that I don't have to delete and re-download games in order to play another game.

Great Size for the Casual Gamer
I bought the 16GB memory card and it is great for my casual gaming needs. I play the Vita in short bursts when I can find time, and usually have between 5-6 games to play at any given time. I typically remove games that I've completed to keep the GB space free. If you can afford to upgrade to the 64GB, and justify spending $80 - $90 dollars of your own money, then by all means go for the 64GB. But if you are a casual gamer who plays the Vita in short bursts like me, then the 16GB is an easy choice.

Reliable costly memory card
This memory card has been working flawlessly for years. The downside is 16GB of storage is way too low and the price per GB is too high...not good since I have accumulated a lot of digital only vita games (PSN+ free games and specials). So I've upgraded the Vita memory storage to 128 GB by replacing the cellular module with an micro SD card reader, then installing the 3.60 firmware and some mod software.

great product 0 down side
many years ago i bought this thing it was 15.6 gigs out of 16 not a bad size as we all know size verrys, id like to add i washed it in a washing machine and it still works fine so its built majorly tough never had one issue used it 100x more than a standard user would . (if this review help at all pls like my review as it helps my amazon ranking)

Excellent. I have 21 games on it.
It is proprietary and that sucks, but it does what it should. I have 21 games on it and they install somewhat quickly. There isn't much additional space, but I also have a 8GB available as well. I personally should have gone for the 32GB now that I have it so much on there and with more great games coming out. By the way, the PS Vita is awesome with the PS4. You can play your PS4 games around the house without being in front of the TV, or having somebody watch TV while you game on your PS4.

A simple product for a simple task.
Works great. Just as described. We all would love more space but this was the sweet spot for size and cost. It lets me save many of my games so I don't have to keep swapping out. It took me 2 years before I had to delete something to make room, so I started deleting games I had already beaten and not played in a year. Wish we did not have to use these cards. But it gets 5 stars for working great.

Awesome Addition To Vita
Finally, I have enough space to load up a few games from my endless PS Plus library. The Vita unfortunately does not have built in storage so this is a must purchase. 16gb still fills up quickly due to games taking up so much space. But, you can still have a good amount of everything. It is much better than the 4gb memory card I was using before. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of more space on their PS Vita.
