Saved me from having to buy a new chair and gave new life to an old favorite!
Perfect replacement for the cheap hard plastic wheels most chairs come with... it rolls smoothly over carpet or plastic chair mats. You will want to make sure you get the right size stem to fit your chair. They are very easy to replace. Also on the plus side, it comes with a full set of 5 wheels so you don't have to worry about having a well-balanced result with the replacements being all around. Saved me from having to buy a new chair and gave new life to an old favorite!

Keep on Rolling
We were looking for replacement casters for our home office chairs and were not happy with the local big box store selection. Found these on-line and decided to give them a try. These casters roll smoothly over our hardwood floors, do not lock up when changing direction, do not leave marks on the floor and look great. They come with a five year warranty and the cost was reasonable. We have purchased a second set for the other of our two chairs and my wife and I are both happy with our choice. Recommended enthusiastically.

These have worked great.
I ordered these a year and half ago. They've been used 8-10 hours per day for office use on a wood floor. They've held up perfectly and the floor is pristine. I read reviews about failures, but I wonder if that was in earlier batches and it was corrected? I'm a big guy and have used a LOT of hours at my home office. Family has used the chair as well. I saved the original casters just in case, but I haven't used them. These have worked great.

It rolls!
They work great! I’ve had a nice executive chair for years. Scooted, never rolled, from day one. Flooring didn’t matter! Carpet, tile or laminate. I had put it in a seldom used place, but wanted to use it in my craft room, it was way more comfortable than my little task chair. I selected these for the rubber/soft material. Didn’t want to go super cheap, also didn’t want to spend $30 if I could avoid it. My old wheels weren’t too difficult to remove, and the were a breeze to snap them in. Righted the chair, sat down and it rolled! For the first time! I’m very happy with the ease of installation (I’m 66 and didn’t require any muscle from Husband to accomplish this task), the quality of the wheel and of course the smooth rolling of the chair! I would definitely purchase again or refer them to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.

hardwood, no scratch, reasonable price, universal, office chair, smooth, funtional
I was looking for a solutions to set up my Office situation which is completely hard maple hard wood. Since maple seems kinda of easier to get roughed up, I was going back on a large area rug, a carpet rembrandt to cover the whole room and these wheels. Since these wheels are the by the cheapest and easiest option to try I bought these first. They worked great. Smoothly glides accossed the floor without and scratches with ease. I have heard that these type of wheels collect grit on the wheels which can potentially leave marks if they build up. I haven't had them long enough to talk about that. Potential downside is that you have to keep the area and wheels clean. So far not issues smooth cheap way to have wheeled chairs on hardwood. Sure beats buying a custom 12x12 area rug which you would also need a custom anti slip or foam pad for underneath which excepts hardwood floors most PVC slip mates are know to leave a stain on hardwood floors. Anyway I am glad I tried these before I spent that kinda of money. In my opinion you pay all that money for great looking hardwood floor and you have to cover it up with a rug just so its funtional. I would much rather have the smooth rolling rubber wheels for cheap, delivered to my house in 2 days like always through AMAZING PRIME. PS this model is designed for most is not all 5 wheel office chairs, no tool required they pull out and snap in really easy.

Smooth rolling. Rubber tires will not damage hardwood floors.
I have an old "office" chair that I use at my computer desk at home. This chair came with hard plastic wheels. My home office has hardwood floors, so I bought a cheap carpet to place under the wheels so that the wheels would not damage the hardwood, but the chair did not roll smoothly on the carpet. In addition, cleaning the room was difficult because the carpet had to be vacuumed and the hardwood swept. These wheels fit in the existing legs without difficulty. I got rid of the carpet and because of the rubber on the edge of the wheels, it rolls on the hardwood without causing any scratches. These wheels also roll smoothly on the hardwood, which make it easier to work. Definitely a nice "upgrade" for an old chair.

I'm Big, They Handle It
What the heck, I admit it, I am Big and Fat - I weigh nearly 300lbs - I seem to break these Rollers on a regular basis - HOWEVER, Not These - I replaced the original set on my new chair when I broke two in one week, I am not the easiest on my chairs either - Seems I am always rolling around from one side of my desk to the other - Now these have been on my Chair for easily 9 - 10 months and not any sign of breaking 0 I hope I am not Jinxing myself - They are holding up better than any others I have bought in the past - I have bought replacements before and like the originals, seem like after a few months - POP, there goes another one - It's really Ironic cause when I purchased these, I bought 2 sets. Hopefully I won't need them, but if I do..

Exactly what I needed and at a very reasonable price.
Not sure why others have posted bad reviews, but I'm very pleased with the results. Old wheels popped right out of the bores and the replacements popped right back in there. No wrestling with bad fits/bad design and nothing but good results. Well packaged and appears to be well built (almost an exact clone, the exception being the rubber tire-like floor contacting area). No wrestling with tweaking to make the repairs/replacements. Better still, no need for an expensive mat/floor protector (and aggravating when you run off the edge). Still can't understand why manufacturers install hard plastic wheels on office/PC chairs (I've got a Serta, no cheap manufacturer, and they're the standard factory installed wheels) but it's making for great business for this and other similar vendors.

No more clickity-clickity ...
Love these caster wheels. I purchased these to replace casters that came with my desk chair. My home office has a hardwood floor which I most assuredly did not want to damage. They roll smoothly and quietly, no more clickity-clickity as I move around. They fit any chair with the 7/16 standard size caster post. I have purchased a second set for a stool that I use my kitchen (also hardwood flooring). Seem to be of good quality and well fabricated with smooth rolling.

Quiet and less expensive
We’ve been using these wheels since our solid oak floors were installed about six months ago. SO much better than the floor protectors of our past (and perhaps your present). These casters roll smoothly and more quietly on the floor and we are not confined to a 10-12 square foot piece of plastic. AND a set of 5 casters are considerably less expensive than a traditional floor protector. We haven’t tried to use them in office chair races yet but I expect them to win the race (and more quietly) than plastic casters. Six Months Later: I highly recommend you clean the rubber on the wheels every few months. They pick up solids and dirt that could mar a solid wood floor finish...or any other floor finish for that matter. I cleaned mine with SprayAway to make they just like new!
