Definitely recommend this chair
Definitely recommend this chair. I wanted to give it a 4 .5 but not possible. Love the straps. Makes it ease to carry around. Love the back pack option so as to keep your hands free. Only negative I have is closing the chair. It is ease to close if you follow the directions. Just grab the legs and close it tight. The negative I see with closing (and to be honest I have not tried yet) you would have to empty the backpack in order to close the chair so items do not fall out. You need to grab the legs which is easy to do. I could be wrong but see this as a modification to the closing process which should be easy to correct. It is lightweight and straps are a plus on your shoulder.

I love these chairs and would buy again
I love these chairs and would buy again! They are relatively lightweight and comfortable. They fold up easily so I am not sure about previous reviews. Totally worth it if you are a frequent beach goer.

Best Beach Chairs
I read a lot of Amazon reviews before making purchases. I wasn't 100% sure about these chairs, but have no regrets now that we've used them several times. They look incredibly well-made, are fairly light, easy to carry (my husband bungees them together and carries both at once), and are sooo comfortable. Husband is a tall man, 210-230 pounds, and he loves the chair and feels completely secure in it. I'm comparatively short, and the chair also fits me well. Plus the pouch on the back is handy in many situations! The only real negative is the cup holder is a bit flimsy. It works perfectly fine for most purposes, but can kind of lean to the side because it isn't very stiff. For example, we were on a hill watching fireworks and I had to catch my drink before it spilled over the edge. A very minor issue, but something to be aware of if you expect 5 star cupholder service.

Awesome Beach Chair!
Very comfortable and well constructed chair. Everyone I went to the beach with was jealous of my chair because it was far superior to theirs and when I let them try my chair, they immediately asked me to send them the link so they could buy one for themselves. I spent many hours in this chair at the beach and it is more comfortable than all the other chairs I have had or tried.

The best beach chair
The best beach chair there is. I'm able to carry my towel, a few drinks, sunscreen and a blanket in the storage area. Unfolds easily. Cup holder is epic for cans or holding the cell phone. The head rest I used way more than I thought I would. And the best feature of all is that you can wear it as a backpack and it's not uncomfortable for long walks. Everyone is jealous of it. Highly recommended

All you need for a day at the beach.
We have a winter home in South Beach, a few blocks in from the beach, just far enough from the tourist strip. We walk to the beach and this chair is comfortable lightweignt aluminum with a very strong canvas like fabric that breathes, and a secure pouch on the back for towels, drinks, books etc. We bought the identical chairs about 5 years ago and after an abusive life retired them to save for when guests come. In terms of comfort, the back and seat have lacing that can be adjusted for firm or slightly baggy to your taste, the headrest is on velcro so you can adjust it to fit your neck and you can adjust the recline. Unlike some chairs the bottom of your leg doesn't lie heavily on the frame. The armrest is wide enough to be comfortable and has a drink holder. For carrying, the backstrap is adjustable so you can find a height that is comfortable. They stow easily in the trunk for farther outings. If you don't want to lie on a towel in the sand or drag coolers and loose items to the Beach this is a very good solution. PS We just bought another two of the current model. The chair is even better with a light but strong fabric that breathes a little and improved Velcro for the headrests.

Very nice beach chair!
These beach chairs are perfect! The head rest is adjustable and removable. The drink holder and pocket on the back are helpful. My favorite part about them is that you can carry them like a backpack. I can see these lasting us years! The green color is accurate in the picture. You also can't beat the price. Update: My family loves to find an excuse to borrow these chairs because they are awesome!

Very good chair!
I am replacing my old one with this one, meaning that I’ve had the exact same chair before. I haven’t had the new one long, but if it’s anything like the old one, it’s a solid chair for the price. My old one has lasted a good 10 years of constant summer use. I will say that the rings holding the ropes on the sitting part can start poking you once they oxidize, but nothing that a towel over it won’t resolve. (I’m speaking about the old one I have. New one, rings are still fresh!) overall this is a great chair and I’d purchase again.

This is a GREAT chair for the price
This is a GREAT chair for the price. I plop my pale, one-piece covered, mom body in this jam all day long. I take it to the beach, the pool, and picnics. Has a sweet little back pack portion for snacks, and a cooler portion for wine…I mean water.
