I'm renting in an apartment and have a ridiculously short faucet where water will literally run all over the back of the sink rather than in the sink. Even though the faucet head is rectangle and bulky, The silicone part fits over it perfectly and allows what would otherwise be a nonfunctional sink to work really well. Perfect for washing my face. Exactly what was needed for a faucet extender when renting or when needed on the go (hotels, traveling).

Aquaduck vs. Prince Lionheart... Ultimately, long term you will want the Aqueduck. This is why: PROS: -It has a lifetime warranty (our PL tore after being removed so many times by guests and we purchased the Aqueduck as a replacement.) -Shorter spout so actually allows adults to use a smaller sink -Sturdier spout so is more difficult for children (and some adults...) to fling water in yours/your kid's face -Easier to remove and install onto a faucet due to stiffer rubber material that is wider than the PL (think of the PL as a tight rubber band while this just kind of gapes open once squeezed and slides on). CONS: -PL does have a longer and wider spout, allowing less stretching on the child's side to reach the water, although as mentioned above, leaves less room for adult hands in the sink -Is more expensive than the PL (unless you purchase a cheaper color! I purchased gray/silver which is less appealing to kids but I could care less.) -This might fall under ease of removal, but PL would be ideal for a narrow faucet since it was a VERY tight fit on our wide faucet -Aqueduck points down on our faucet instead of straight out...Doesn't bother me one bit, but figured it was worth mentioning since the PL does point straight out which makes it a tad easier to reach. We had been using our Prince Lionheart for one year now and it finally ripped after the occasional guests in town removing it (which was a pain to remove and reinstall because it was so tight.) Wish I had purchased the Aqueduck in the first place and saved our money!

The aqueduck faucet extended was delivered on February 18, 2017. I loved it and my 3.5 year old daughter also loved it since she could reach the faucet and felt grown up. I read the reviews about people finding mold so I did remove the aqueduck at least once a day to either air dry or hand wash and then air dry. So I was disappointed that I found two tears in the rubber at the beginning of June, after just having the product for 3.5 months. I emailed Aqueduck's customer service directly (couldn't find the information on Amazon) before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning I had an email waiting for me, asking what color replacement I wanted and my mailing address. Alex emailed me on June 23. The replacement was delivered (to Hawaii where it always takes longer for mail to arrive) on June 29. Talk about amazing customer service!!! Great product! I love the fact that it's not made in China. The aqueduck helps my daughter be more independent. Yes, it can be used to spring the water all over (I've accidentally hit it and water HAS gone all over) so hopefully your child doesn't play with it. The aqueduck is very easy to remove and put back on. Buy it, you won't regret it! It's a great product and their customer service is awesome.

My daughter who just turned two has loved this since we got it about 3 months ago. It has made it so much easier to teach her to wash her hands when I don't have to awkwardly lift her up to the sink. It's easy to pull off (and can even just pull the spout out if you don't want to take the whole thing off) if company is visiting. And our newly discovered added benefit: our newly adopted cat meows for me to turn the sink on and laps up the water as it dribbles down. So...it doubles as a cat water fountain. Who'd have thought?

Not just for kids— also good for poor faucet design/placement or low water pressure As you can see from my photos, the faucet head is super short and the water falls pretty much right at the back of the sink. So when we wash our hands, we are physically touching the sink wall. Gross. So although we do have 2 young toddlers, I mainly bought this so the water would fall at the middle of the sink and we wouldn’t be rubbing our clean hands all over the dirty sink. This does the trick and it fits well over a pretty wide faucet (looks like it can fit faucets up to 2” wide, as long as it’s not too deep/thick). Hope you find this helpful!

I was skeptical and expected a cheap piece of plastic that would flop around the faucet. I got something MUCH better. This is made of a quality plastic and fits to our (1960's which nothing ever fits to) sink. The rubber and plastic are quality and not at all cheap looking (we bought the blue/clear combo). The rubber part fits right around our faucet and is not hard to put on or take off. My 2 yo can easily pull this off, which she does to use the other bathrooms (maybe I should buy more:). The water now flows softly to a part of the sink my 2yo can reach, which the step stool alone wouldn't let her. The clear plastic is not frosted like it looks in the pictures (thankfully). I am actually surprised that I like this as much as I do. Also there is an imprint if a duck on the plastic part.

We've purchased this item to help our little baby boy to gain the routine of wash hands! our lil one is too short so we have ended up purchase the stool for him to stand on ( got it from IKEA) and he still can't reaches the water. Thus, we have decided to shop here on amazon for the water extender until we've found this one. I honestly love the design, and is nicely made like a duck mouth shape. This extender is so easy to attached onto any American standard faucet. I am just thankful that my boy starts to love to "wash hand" (he thinks this is a toy with water leaks out). I hope this review does help some potential buyer that has same issues that there kiddo is not able to reach out to the water. overall, I am happy with this purchase!

This is a very simple attachment to make it easier for toddlers to wash their hands. We just received it yesterday & my daughter was so happy to be able to reach the water on her own. She wants to wash her hands all the time now :). The part that attaches to the sink spout is very soft & pliable so I can imagine it would fit on a wide range of spouts very easily. One thing I will say, the color of the plastic was clear in the picture, but the one we received was yellow. I really don't care honestly, it's not going to be a sophisticated decor piece, but just a note. My daughter is 17 months & I wish we would have gotten this for her sooner, she loves it so much!

I didn't realize how much we depend on this until I found mold (on the inside of the rubber part) that wouldn't wash off, even in the dishwasher (our fault for not taking it off regularly to wash). Anyways, I came on Amazon to see if this is a common problem and I saw the company comment on several reviews to e-mail them if you get mold and they will send a replacement. Sure enough, Alex wrote me back right away and mailed me a free replacement the next day (I even got to pick the color) . My toddler is happy to have her independence back and I plan to follow their advice to remove this every few weeks and throw it in the dishwasher. Honestly I would have bought another one but I am so impressed with the company for standing behind their product.

Save your money: these are so easy to make it's not even funny. Just cut up an old shampoo bottle and you have a sink extender that works well. I'm not saying these aren't great (hence my 5-stars). My point is simply that you can save the ten bucks and have one TODAY in your home.
