Whew! Finally the cover that I've wanted ....!

I like to cook Pork Chops, stir fry, Chicken and things that normally splatter all over the top of the stove. I've been looking everywhere for a nice glass top with a steam hole and until I ran into these, I have had to settle for ones without holes. I even tried modifying one without a hole by using a diamond tip drill bit ... but the glass shattered #$!!@# ... OH WELL! Guess that experiment didn't work! Cooking Port Chops with a solid top results in a steamed chops...LOL ... because it usually winds up boiling the Pork Chops from condensation since there is no where for the liquid to escape. ...and when you take the lid off, all that liquid that had collected under the cover winds up on top of the stove ... aaaargh! Then you still have to finish pan frying the chops to make it look and taste right. The worst part is having to clean my NEW EXPENSIVE glass top stove and the final straw is a stain that I haven't been able to remove. I've even tried scraping it off with a razor blade but it's still there ... MAJOR BUMMER! Just got this top a week ago and MAN what a difference! No more steaming the chops first, then frying them and best of all ... the top of the stove remains clean. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Ozeri Fry Pan Lid. Will be ordering a couple more in the next two weeks ... Next up Stir fry Tri Tip with mushrooms and veggies ... Yummy! OH ... and this thing is well made, heavy duty ... should last a very long time!

Good lid!

This lid mostly fits my All-Clad 8-inch stainless steel pan, but not quite. But it does fit enough to trap the heat in the pan, so I am keeping it. 4 stars for the fit issue, but other than that, it is a very nice lid. It washes well and the small vent on the lid works well also. EDIT: I am knocking my four star rating to three stars because from what others have said about food stains getting stuck in the circular crevice on the inside of the lid is true and it is hard to wash out without fingernails which I do not have. So three stars for this product. But besides the food issue, the lid works well. EDIT 3/22/2017: It has been a year now and I am changing my rating fro 3 stars to 5 stars. The rust inside the corner of the lid hasn't destroyed the lid yet and the lid is still going strong! Now that is what I call durable!

Yes, I realize that this is a lid that is for a Ozeri 8 inch skillet. However, I decided that I needed an extra 8 inch vented glass lid for another brand and discovered this one on Amazon. So I took a chance and ordered it. And I am so happy with it for these reasons: 1 It fits PERFECTLY on my 8 inch Lodge Cast Iron Skillet. I am so excited because I use this skillet daily. 2 It also fits several of my 8 inch skillets and pans. 3 The vent is wonderful as it prevents boilovers.is great when I sure, dry. And I use this when I steam things. 4 Handle does not get Hot. 5 Quality is excellent. I highly recommend this lid.

Perfect cover for my Farberware (smallest) stainless steel frying pan

I bought a set of Farberware stainless steel pans, and my smallest came without a cover - how thoughtful of Farberware ? For years I went without a cover for my most used pan. Then I get the bright idea of looking for it on amazon (why did I not think of this sooner?). Thanks to the questions and answers of this page, I had detailed dimensions of the item and what type of pan it will fit. Still, I took a chance, but when it arrived, I was amazed to see that it sits on my little pan perfectly. It is also of premium quality, you can tell it will last a long time. I must say that I was also impressed with how securely it was packaged. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Fits Lodge 12"cast iron skillet perfectly

I bought this lid hoping that it would fit my 12" Lodge cast iron skillet. It fits perfectly! It's oven safe up to 390*. What more can you ask for.

Ergonomically designed handle

The ergonomically designed handle is larger and easier to grip than a conventional round knob. It automatically orients the location of the vent hole away from the cook's wrist to prevent accidental scalding from escaping steam. The inner flange of the stainless steel rim measures exactly 7-13/16" to nest nicely inside a conventional 8" pot. The handle is screwed directly to the lid without any intervening washer or adapter, therefore keeping the lid top easier to clean and with an elegant minimalist contemporary design.

Best ever lid and 10" frying pan

This is by far the best 10" frying pan I have ever had. We tried the "orange things" which were horrible. Burned eggs, hard to control heat and didn't come close to working the way they showed on tv. This abxolute doesn't burn eggs nor overcook bacon. Used for cooking chicken and didn't burn one bit and well cooked. The top is well made and the steam release is wonderful. Never had any meat stick to the pan and didn't burn any veggies either. Well deserved 5 star.

LOVE this lid

I bought one of these lids to work with my 8 inch Zwilling-JA Henckels pans, which have no lids. I LOVE this lid. It sits well, lets a bit of steam out of the small hole on top, and washes up like a dream in the dishwasher. The handle on top is ergonomically very comfortable. Glass allows me to check on things without lifting the lid. I loved this one so much, I bought more for my other Florida home. I've tried various other brands, and this is easily the best. I use it every day to make my egg and veggies breakfast and it has held up well over the months.

Best lid for 8" iron skillet!! Better than Lodge brand!!

I chose to buy this lid for my Lodge 8" iron skillet because, I did not care for the handle on the Lodge 8" lid. Quality and durability is very good! It is vented and fits perfect. In my opinion its better than the one available from Lodge. As I stated;I bought because of handle design. Instead of a flat button knob, it has an easy,contoured,handle that is convenient and less chances to burn fingers while using. Five 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I received the 12" Earth Frying pan as a gift and loved the pan, but when I cook I need a lid, so went searching for a lid for the pan!
