So far, pup is lovin' these. He seems to be chewing on them for a decent amount of time, particularly given his large size and appetite. It'll likely be a while before I can see how effective these are. Fingers crossed. These aren't cheap, but a $450. cleaning at the vet makes me somewhat uncomfortable in that they need to shove a breathing tube down his throat while he's unconscious. This is one of those very iffy situations that I'd like to avoid. Love my big guy too much to take the risk.

These are treats that all four of our dogs enjoy. One large bone becomes like toffy to them, as the chew and lick at the brush for a few minutes before swallowing the rest. The Greenies don't bleed, don't create a mess and don't leave fibers behind. They also don't really freshen their breath. But the dogs all like them and if I don't place these high enough on the shelf, I will find remains of the foil and box on the floor in the morning.

I have 3 dogs, 2 were adoptions. I have learned after many years of being a animal foster, adopter and donator that it does matter what you feed the dogs. Over many years Ive experienced much more health issues with cheap walmart type food than buying a natural less ingredient foods from the pet store. Yes they are more expensive but if you compare the feeding size is less so it does go just as far. My dogs have many less health issues. Because of Amazon and only because Amazon provides these healthy treats I can get them for my dogs. I was not buying them at all because I couldnt afford them. I give my dogs one every other day. I am thankful to Amazon for this savings. I always check amazon first, rarely I find things other places cheaper but its more than that...usually its just as good.

Great product. 9 y/o 60lb boxer mix who has never had dental chew toys. Eats dry kibble with wet food treat every couple of weeks. I check my dog's teeth, they had plaque, order these, gave the dog one treat, plaque was over 50% gone. Couple of treats later, 90% gone. Only the oldest and closest to the gum line plaque is left after only 4 of these treats. Amazing. I love it when a killer product comes around. This is one. The dog loves them. She finishes them off quickly and acts very happy and thankful. Will be buying these for a long time.

This box of four pouches of Greenies is a great way to buy in bulk the treats that I feed my dogs day. I've been feeding Greenies to my rescue dogs for almost a decade now, and they work very well. Neither one of my dogs has ever had a dental or gum issue. The dogs think it's just a treat, and I like that Greenies are American made.

These Greenies must be made of magic, because dogs cannot resist them. To us, they don't seem like they would be that delicious--they don't smell like much, and they're sort of smooth and waxy. They're firm, but with a slight give. Sort of like Starburst candy that has dried out for along time, if that makes sense. Unfortunately, they only last about 2-3 minutes, tops. In fact, an energetic chewer can get through one of these in under a minute if motivated. Nonetheless, they remain a smash hit. So much so that my parents' German Shepherd will "pay" them with his prize bouncy ball in exchange for a Greenie. If using a bouncy ball as currency isn't cute, I don't know what is. FYI--If you can get the 24-pack for about $20, you're getting an okay price

A year ago we adopted a 9yo German Shepherd from the shelter. From the beginning we've had a tendency to spoil him. We saw the Greenies at our local pet store and the people who worked there said they were great. That was an understatement! Our vet is very happy we give them to him since they help with not only his teeth but his digestion (they're basically doggie vitamins). Most of all Book is absolutely addicted to them. Every afternoon he'll bug me to death until I do "show me", then he leads me to the pantry and stops there. He even looks up at the top shelf since he knows that's where we keep them. We've got him doing a routine to get one and he gets so excited half the time he can't go through it fast enough. After he's done with it he'll even start licking the floor where it was. The price is the only drawback. But with Amazon we just check which quantity box is at what price to work out what's cheapest per treat at the time. Expect them to average $.75 to $1.75 a treat.

I buy these for my 2 border collies. They definitely help to clean their teeth, but they can be a little upsetting to their tummy so I split one dental treat in half. My dogs seem to enjoy the flavor and do not choke on chewing the treat too quickly. One of my border collies prefer the Virbac, and the other prefers this one because his teeth are smaller. I hope that you have found my opinion to be helpful with your decision process to purchase this item. If this is the case, and where Amazon asks if this review helpful, please click "yes" .

I have a 65lb Golden Collie mix who is the pickiest eater. He won’t eat his dog food unless mixed well with a raw egg, has seasonal allergies up to Ying Yang and up until about 3 years ago wouldn’t touch a dog treat no matter what we tossed at him. We tried regulR milk bones, rawhide, special treats from a “cookie bar” at a pet store, pigs ears (yuck). You name it, we tried it! My neighbor at our new home loves Henry.. she religiously walks him every morning for a good 1-2 hours (depending on weather). She started giving him a Greenie everyday after their walk and now it’s the treat of choice for this household. He LOVES them. They are gone within minutes but that doesn’t bother anyone. I’m just so happy we found something he enjoys. We usually give him one in the morning And maybe 1-2 through out the day and I would say two 36oz box of Large treats lasts almost a month. I usually buy 2 boxes at the beginning of the month and they will last me almost to the end... The price really isn’t an issue as again, I don’t buy any other treats or toys for him. He doesn’t like bones or squeaky toys. He loves balls but those we only play with outside and 1 tennis ball can last years with him. If it’s one splurge on my 4 legged friend and he loves them then it’s worth every penny!

I have a 7 year old Chi and a 3 year old Doberman. My chihuahua desperately needs her teeth cleaned. The back molars are brown and green from all the tartar she has over the years but because she is so little and an adult I'm afraid to put her under because of all the risk so i did my research and i was hesitant at first because how can a little tiny chew get rid of the the tartar, right? Well its been 13 days and the results are amazing. I just checked one side of her molars and to my surprise the tartar is gone! i couldn't believe it so i kept checking and yep, its gone! The other side is still brown from the tartar but i know that if she continues to use, it will also be gone. This is really just telling me that she must chew more on that other side. Her K9's have also improved and everyday they look better. I also started to brush her teeth once a week but its very hard to get the toothbrush in her mouth because its so tiny. My dobermans teeth are much better overall because of his age but he does have a bit of tartar on his back molars. The large chews have really helped and i can tell that they are helping. Like i said at first, i was very hesitant but these have really helped my pups teeth. I will continue to purchase and give them their treats every morning. All it takes is one a day!
