Zombies!!!

My son and I use these to communicate throughout the house while playing zombie attack. The range is perfect for my two story house. I don't know how it works when it comes to super long range but for what I need it for it did the job. The quality is great. It picks up other channels so the range is good.

Work great!

Used these radios last week and was pleasantly surprised with their performance. They work just as expected with clear audio and when sending messages they were heard clearly on the other end with other radios. A great buy. I didn't test distance but that wasn't an issue for me. I'd buy these again.

Excellent buy...

I have owned walkie talkies for years and laughed at the idea of 25 miles range when in my experience in lucky if I get 1. However, I was in my house and my daughter was in her friends house on the far side of our development and transmission was loud and crystal clear. Very impressive. Well worth the price.

Worked great for me!

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought these to use when my wife and I were relocating from south FL to SC in two vehicles. She in her car and me in a moving truck. The walkie talkies were a great way for us to communicate while driving. Much easier than using a cell phone in this case. The range was good, and battery on a full charge lasted nearly 10 hours. Now that we're moved in we now use them as an intercom between the downstairs office and my upstairs office. No complaints here on this one!

Rugged, Good range.

Bought 2 sets of these to give our kids free range while camping. They are rugged and sturdy and the batteries seem to last at least a full day of kids chattering to each other. Campground area is about 3 mile diameter and we can tell when they are getting near edges because transmission gets a little fuzzy. There are trees, some cars, and some RVs interfering with range. Also use these for snow skiing on a 4,000 foot long trail. From the top, to the lodge they are crystal clear. Bought these 2 years ago and have used them somewhat regularly. They are impressive. I'll buy Midland again.

Perfect for calling the kids home in the neighborhood

I bought these to keep in touch with my kids while they’re playing around the neighborhood. We live in a dense suburban area with lots of trees, buildings, and power lines so the range is limited. I can get roughly a 1/2 mile distance before the signal starts to break up. This is fine for my purposes but don’t buy these expecting to reach the maximum advertised distance. That’s under perfect conditions on a level area without any obstructions or conflicting radio signals. Overall, this is a very well made product and works great for what it is. The charging base is very convenient. My kids and I are very happy with these radios.

These radios worked great! We were on a trip with another family and each had one in our cars. We traveled together and this was a great way to communicate, especially when there wasn't phone service. I highly recommend these for traveling.

They were very easy to use

My wife and I purchased these hand held radios for our long drive in two vehicles. They were a real life saver, for an otherwise very stressful two day trip. We did not have any real reception or distance problems. We did kill the batteries prior after about 8 hours of use. They were very easy to use, although if you are not accustomed to handheld radio use, it's easy not to wait for the blip prior to responding, in which case, the other person won't hear the first part of your message. Well worth the money spent!

Great product!

We bought this for our 11 year old birthday, he loved them and uses them all the time. Works well and of great quality, we have used them in our neighborhood and during camping trips, as well as when we traveled in different cars. One issue that we did have is when your in the trees it does not work well. Otherwise there is great range and very clear.
