but I liked that I did not need to figure out what ...

I had imagined I'd need to disconnect pipes from the heater etc. When I went to do the work, I found they are build with "ports" to tap into without disconnecting anything. I read another review that you could find all the parts for less. That is true and it may save you $30 bucks or so, but I liked that I did not need to figure out what hose fittings went with what pump that also fit the water heater, etc. This kit was simple to skip all that time and I think worth the few extra bucks.

Very clear instructions made it extremely easy for me to flush the tankless water heater. Everything you need is in this kit. Next time all I have to do is order another container of the flushing solution.

Superior! Definitely put together by someone who have a lot of Pride and Honor if what he/she does. EVERYTHING is a top-notch, first grade. Packaging is superior, instructions are clever, and components are beyond expected. NO TOOLS REQUIRED: hand-tightened is "good enough" (since components are of exceptional quality). Worth EVERY PENNY. (And, yeah, I know, I could save few pesos by buying it in bits and pieces; but why would you do it, when everything here is hand-picked for you to fit ... like a glove?). Do NOT be intimidated: that's not a "rocket science". Follow the instructions and have fun (and a lot of pride: tell your spouse it was a "Hard Day's Work", lol). I ended up walking down my neighborhood, asking people if they have a tankless heater and want to give it a whirl. Heater: Takagi, ~ 3.5 y.o. (first flush). Vinegar came out with light blue color (like diluted windshield fluid). Clearly washed off the deposits off the copper pipes inside the heater. Nothing "big": no sandy minerals, not hard deposits at all. Definitely a "keeper" and money well spent. P.S.: Oh, 3 gallons (of vinegar) are more than plenty. It covers the pump completely (it doesn't have to).

this was perfect to flush my tankless heater

i'm sure i could've gone to homedepot and bought similar items. but between the step by step instructions and the quality pump plus delivery to my door....this was perfect to flush my tankless heater. found a few instructions on youtube to help me walk though what is now beyond simple.

True...you can order all the items individually for a few bucks less, but this is a high quality kit. It saved me time and is well thought-out. The hoses are high quality with steel outer casings. The pump is also a good name brand item. All in all, I followed the easy directions and had a icky bucket full of minerals in no time!

I called a plumber to see how much to clean tankless water heater - called three different ones [ lowest prices 200 dollars ] wow . well i just did it myself and it took 15 minutes connections and flush, The longest part is sitting 45-60 minutes while it recirculates cleaning. And after one year to date almost it needed it just as they state. do it annually the tank-less last 20-25 years - thats a hell of a savings gas bill and such . the pump and hose are top quality i am very pleased

This worked like a charm for cleaning out our tankless water heater. It was unreal how much gunk had built up from the terrible city water that we have to deal with...it was so bad that it ruined one of the elements in our water heater! After cleaning it out two times we added a filter to our heater and haven't had any problems since! Great purchase!
