Made very well and is interchangeable with all other standard play wood tracks. It is a good value. My only complaint is the lever piece is difficult for a young child to wind up and it does not clasp into place: it's just loose to sit in the hole. My 18 month old can use the rest of the pieces, but I reccomend age 3 and up and age 5 for the lever piece. Overall, I definitely recommend this product!

Fantastic Train Set

I'm not very fond of train sets due to the amount of parts and space they need. However, I thought I would give these a try since my son loves trains so much. My favorite part about this set is how they are stored in the box and take up minimal space. The amazing part is how much comes in this box. Sometimes he just plays with the accessories instead of building the train track completely. The track is so easy to put together that my two year old can assemble it with minimal help. The tracks are two sided making this process easier. A fraction of the price of Thomas the Train and same great quality too. My son plays with these every single day and they are one of his favorite toys.

all the pieces are as sturdy as anything else

My boys are loving this train set. It connects well with the other types of wooden train tracks we have, all the pieces are as sturdy as anything else. The plastic mountain lid is part of the set and seems to be plenty tough. It is holding up well. Great value for the price compared to the other sets I've seen.

Quality product.

Came exactly as it was described. Track fits other wooden tracks, fit all his Thomas trains. Instructions were easy to follow, everything came packaged and nothing was broken. Will definitely consider buying other items like this.

Easy to build

My son has been into trains so we decided to get him this. I love that it easy to build and can storage easily.

Best buy ever

I cannot say enough about how much we love this toy. It fits all the Thomas stuff, is a fraction of the price, and it travels! It has been almost a year since purchase and everything as held up nicely. My son plays with this thing weekly, it never gets old. And great for taking to the beach or Grandmommy's house.

GREAT for our 2.5 year old!

This is one of the best small train sets we have ever bought (and we have plenty!) My 2.5 year old packs this set up and takes it with him when we have meetings or other events where he has to be quiet. He plays on it for hours!! Most of the material is good, but we did have one track break. Nothing terrible because it still connects, but the hook did break. Overall, we are so pleased!

My son loves this like a year later! The pieces go together perfectly and it’s great you can easily put all of the pieces back in the container. We’ve o my lost a tree trunk after all of this time.

Great idea for a starter set!

Got this for me youngest Grandson and he would not go any further until it was put together so he could play. Kept him busy for a good 2 hours!

Still a favorite 3 years later!

I got this for my son around his 3rd birthday because he wanted a train to play with and I didn’t want to get a big train table. This set has been fantastic. He loves the features (bridge, crane, y tracks) and I love that it takes up no space when not in use. He’s now almost 6 and still playing with it. He’s old enough to get it out, set up the track and put it away all by himself. One of our best toy purchases.
