I have had very deep, cystic acne on the sides of my face/jaw for almost 4 years. It was adult onset and came out of nowhere. My husband had begun telling me he was not attracted to me, it was so bad. He missed the clear skin I had at 18 when I met him. I was heartbroken and needed something that would FINALLY clear my skin. (Doctors and various medicines, lotions, essential oils, supplements, extracts & pills hadn't worked.) I was literally having little balls of soft wax, like soy candle wax, pushing to the surface of my skin from somewhere so deep it felt as if it came from my bones. These were NOT normal zits. They were something from the pit of hell. One reviewer who had symptoms similar to mine said to use Ole Henricksen African Red Tea foaming face wash plus Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel. I am SO INCREDIBLY GLAD I took her advice! Here is what I did to clear my face miraculously in 3 weeks: While in the shower where the steam has opened my pores, I use original apricot scrub gently on my face (my skin needs a little help exfoliating or my pores clog). I rinse and then immediately (while still in the shower) wash my face, neck and chest with two pumps of Ole Henricksen African Red Tea foaming cleanser. I leave the foam on my skin for about 30 seconds and then rinse. Once I am out of the shower and dried off, I put the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel on a cotton ball and use it as an astringent all over my face. Sometimes I drench another cotton ball and go over problem areas. If I have some zit boil that starts to rise up, I dab on therapeutic grade tea tree/melaleuca essential oil to help calm down the area. I bought the Ole Henricksen and Thayers Witch Hazel and began using them the day before Halloween 2017. By Thanksgiving 3 and a half weeks later, my skin had cleared. No more deep, painful boils from hell bubbling up, no more huge red cyst things, no open boo-boos - ALL CLEAR SKIN. This has not happened in 4 years. My husband began complementing my skin shortly before our Thanksgiving trip when it began to clear up. (I used these products for about two weeks and actually had more cysts come to the surface before it all cleared but I knew to expect that. Keep using it! One of the best!

This Thayers is one of the best. Aside from the rose toner this cucumber is my second best. I love this cucumber toner because if feel so refreshing. What I have done is I switched the top for a spray top and I spray it on my face or sometimes my body because the cucumber specifically feels cooling like on a hot day just spray some and you'll feel so cool as if your chillin in the cool shade. I also use a small slip spray tool to refill with the toner so I always carry it with me :-)

Great for Oily Skin & Redness!

This stuff is freaking amazing!! I had a lot of redness and breakouts on my chin and a few on my forehead. It truly just cleared them all up. I don't have any breakouts as of now just my scars that i will be working on. I used this every night after cleansing my skin, use this then finish it off with the Mario Bidesci Rose Facial Spray and it was perfection! I love this product!!!!!

Perioral dermatitis - 27yo female FINALLY rid of POD

I've been using Spectro Jel (for blemish prone skin) in combination with Thayers Witchhazel Rose Petal Toner, California Baby Calendula Cream, and a daily probiotic supplement (minimum 10 strains and 25 billion CFUs) for over a year, and my PO dermatitis has not returned. I WILL NEVER STRAY FROM THIS REGIMEN because not only is my POD gone, but my skin is clearer, smoother, softer and more even than it's ever been. I've recently started using a Vitamin C serum in between the toner and calendula cream for anti-aging, and I didn't have any adverse reactions or POD flare-ups. Also, I started removing my make-up with Ponds Cold Cream and wiping with a washcloth instead of using make-up remover cloths. I remove more make-up this way, and the washcloth exfoliates (though I'm careful not to rub much where the POD flares up by my nose because exfoliating makes it worse). If you must have some make-up remover wipes on standby for those sleepy moments of weakness, I recommend using micellar water/wipes because they remove make-up well (even waterproof) without leaving much residue on your skin. I battled with perioral/nasal/occipital dermatitis for years, and everything else only made it worse (especially ANYTHING dermatologist prescribed). I tried following the Candida diet, but failed miserably because I love carbs and sweets too much, and to be frank, simply don't have the self discipline for that. I tried all kinds of masks, cleansers, and moisturizers, and nothing worked until I tried this combo. I'll get a mild flare-up here and there after a weekend of bad behavior (poor diet, drinking, and sleeping in make-up), but after a couple days of my normal routine, it disappears. I'm 27 now, and battled with POD for about 15 years. I've been so happy with my skin that my friends without POD started using this regimen, too. Can't go wrong with this

I love this product! Really can't go wrong here. Does a great job of getting off any of the day's leftover gunk that my nightly cleansing might have missed and does a great job of making my pores seem smaller. Are they actually smaller? I don't know--I don't sit and measure my pores but I have received many compliments from friends and coworkers saying my face looks very "glowy" or "healthy." Seeing as adding this product to my routine is the only change I have made, I will attribute the glow to this. My skin is also very sensitive and starts itching or getting tiny allergy bumps with a lot of products and this does not irritate my skin at all. Will definitely buy again.

Finally A Cure For Cystic/Hormonal Acne

If you suffer from hormonal or cystic acne, this product is a god send. For over sixteen years I have tried every treatment on the market, from topical ointments (Retin-A Micro), to oral medication (Yaz, Ortho try cyclen, accutane, antibiotics), expensive skin care lines (Proactiv, Murad, Clinique) to painful monthly facial appointments, clay/charcoal masks etc. and nothing helped fix my chronic hormonal/cystic acne. After reading up on the benefits of witch hazel and reading the reviews of this product, I figured I would give it a try and I'm so glad that I did. Within days I noticed a discernible difference in how my skin felt and how it looked. Gentle + Effective Lavender Toner♡

This is a lovely, skin soothing witch hazel toner with natural ingredients like aloe vera, glycerin, and grapefruit seed extract. I made a great toner blend in a spray bottle- Half rose water by Zia Botanicals, and half Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel. It's super refreshing to spritz on my face day or night, and it also cleanses, softens, moisturizes, and acts as an astringent for your skin. It really helps to tighten pores and it leaves your face feeling and looking fresh and clean. This witch hazel is not harsh like regular witch hazel with alcohol- I prefer this so much more. And the natural lavender scent is beautiful without being overpowering. When a rash broke out on my neck once, spraying this toner on it really helped to calm the itch, swelling, and redness. It's great for soothing inflamed, red skin. I've poured this witch hazel into a spray bottle and added a few drops of lavender essential oil. That ended up being really pleasant as well. You can choose to just squirt it onto a cotton pad or to spray it like I do. Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel is in a fairly large (12 oz) bottle, so the price is definitely reasonable... although I've seen prices all over the board by different sellers on Amazon for this same product. Treat your skin gently, rather than aggravate it with harsh and synthetic ingredients, and unnecessary dyes and perfumes. I highly recommend this product.♡

Love this stuff!

I absolutely love this product. I am 36 years old and my skin shows it. I have enlarged pores, adult acne, dry cheeks, oily T zone, and uneven skin. My skin I also extremely sensitive to any products. I have been using this product daily since 03-16-18 and it has alleviated or improved all my skin problems. It doesn’t dry out my skin. I have not had one single pimple since using this product. My pores look smaller. It’s very gentle on my skin. It doesn’t burn at all. It smells very nice. I just purchased my second bottle and this is definitely something I will continue to purchase. I am interested in trying out the other scents too.

I can say one thing I would not even hesitate if you are thinking about buying this product, do it! I have been struggling with acne for almost 2 years now and after cleaning up my diet by eliminating dairy and all animal products my skin did clear up a ton!
