My husband likes my vintage style and wanted to have a portriat done. Well, He has to dress the part too! I admit, I'm none too confident on the pants, but I've done vests, frock coats, and cravats several times. The pattern is fully illustrated with specific instructions so I'm not too far out of my abilities!

Great pattern but it is complicated and not for beginners. A hint: do not try to use inexpensive gabardine. This cut requires good wool fabric with a lot of shape. The polyester does not hold shape well enough, and the coat looks sloppy. That is a waste of a lot of work.

Great pattern for community theater productions.
