My CIEMs came back to life!
Ok, I'm not one who usually takes the time to do reviews, and then easily give 5 stars, unless the product meets and exceeds expectations. This Jodi-Vac did. I have some awesome custom in-ear monitors (64 Audio A6s) that I regularly try to keep clean using the little cleaning tool that comes with the CIEMs. Yet, after a year or so, the volume of my left ear monitor all of a sudden became noticeably low and all high-mids and treble were almost non-existent. I knew it had to be some little piece of wax here or there that was the culprit. Bless its little heart, the fragile cleaning tool that comes with the CIEMs just doesn't cut it, and its wire loop is not half as long as it needs to be in order to be usefully effective. 64 Audio (a truly awesome company) also sells these Jodi-Vacs from their website, although Amazon's price was cheaper and shipping here was free. I also received my Jodi-Vac several days earlier than estimated, and the moment it arrived, I immediately went to work on my in-ears. Simple to operate and yes, there is adequate vacuum. After 15 minutes, I put the CIEMs back into my ears and played the same reference track to do a before-and-after comparison. It was like my in-ears came back to life, beautiful balance and true stereo, and all was restored in my left in-ear monitor, and likely some in my right, too. They just needed a decent cleaning. Yes! Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer and happy with this product.

I highly recommend this vacuum if you have issues keeping your hearing ...
I recently purchased in the canal hearing aides. I had a hard time adjusting to hearing things I haven't heard in years plus I had a difficult time keeping the very small openings clear from build up. I finally realized that I needed to purchase a magnifying glass with a small 40x lighted window and this vacuum. LIFE CHANGING! Seriously - I have not had to contact the audiologist to go in for a cleaning since I received the vacuum and the magnifier. I highly recommend this vacuum if you have issues keeping your hearing aides clean. It is a small investment when compared to the level of frustration I experienced when they were blocked and I had to wait to get in to the office.

A MUST have for In-ear Monitor maintenance.
I've been using this to clean out my In-ear monitors (64 Audio A8's) for about 6 months now, and it is SO much better than using only the "cleaning tool" that comes with most IEMs. Takes a little bit to get used to but makes cleaning them quicker and easier. I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone using IEMs. It will save you hours of frustration and needless anxiety about getting wax pushed too far up the canal.

This unit does a very good job.
Bought this Jodi Vac to replace one 8 or 10 years old that had a split vacuum hose, not replaceable and much too stiff. The new "blue" hose on this new one is much more flexible and allows for easier handling. This unit works very well. It has adequate vacuum for the job and helps keep the hearing aids clean. The new one runs on 12v with a supplied power brick, and is much more quiet than the old one. That's a plus. All of the old instruments - the clear wax filter assemblies and the needle tips work on this unit, even though the newer ones look a bit different. That's also a plus. The only negative I can think of is that the original unit came in a very nice soft carrying case, which I am using for the new unit. Jodi Vac should offer this as an option for new purchasers. With a little $20 USB microscope, you can view the inside of the hearing aid receiver and tell when it is clean. Having both the Jodi Vac and the microscope you save many trips to the audiologist for cleaning.

In the ear hearing aide Vacuum device cleaner
So far, I have been using it, I haven't returned to my Hearing Aide technician for maintenance and repairs, save me up to $100 a visit, . I have not had the vacuum tube cleaned yet but It has lots of debris inside, so it mush be working, suction is good, and the needle fits well for cleaning. I would recommend it for cleaning you in the ear hearing devices and to save time and money from your hearing aide provider! looking at the electronic hearing aide dryer next, but it is not really portable per se

Great tool for HA users
This is a must have for hearing aid users, good suction power, easy to use, recommended! Save time and money, I don’t need to visits my audiologists for cleaning. After 18 months of use unit still working, keeping my Phonak Marvels clean, the only problem was with power supply, I drop it, not from too high and is completely dead, not sure if manufacturer sell replacements honestly I never ask but I found here on Amazon a universal one that work just fine and save me the purchase of a new vac. It only cost $12.90. Replacement power supply: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B078LSVVTB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

this vacuum really sucks
It really does the job well. I only wish they would make one with a rechargeable battery as it is a pain to have to plug the thing into an outlet to use it on a daily basis. I no longer need to buy those little screens which cost me $.35 a day as the vacuum makes them like new, but as I said it's a pain to have to plug it in each day as I cannot leave it plugged in for family reasons. Please forward this to the seller.

Three Stars
I am professional musician and couples months ago I order from JH Audio my Lola In Ear Monitors. So I got recommendation from a friend to keep in shape my monitors working fine all the time to buy it. This is a very important tool, especially when the IEM cost more than $1,500! Works fine. This product is very simple to use. Recently I order filters for my Jodi vac and they send me the product first. And after that I send the payment, that was the first time I experience something like that, In these days you can’t trust anyone send them first!. The owner answer my call, they are very nice people. I really recommend this product 100%. Please be patience with them, they are senior couple the only ones making this product for all the company. They don’t have online payment yet, but they will have, they are working on it.

Great product! Really cleans both the sound tubes and ...
Great product! Really cleans both the sound tubes and the microphones on my hearing aids. It significantly decreases the need to go to the COSTCO HA center, which is a 120 mile round trip. I think this unit is every bit as effective as the 'industrial' unit my dispenser has. Probably just a much lower duty cycle, but I am only using it on my own units, so it should have a very good life.

The good news is
I've had ear wax problems for years although I would carefully wipe by aids with alcohol every evening and store them in a zip lock bag with desiccants to dry them out. I now use the Jodi-Vac every night before wiping them with alcohol. The good news is: (1) A few times when one hearing aid was not working properly (could not hear well), the Jodi-Vac evidently removed the wax and functionality was quickly restored. (2) I have not had to have my audiologist clean my eating aids since I began using the Jodi-Vac. The winter is when my ear wax problem is at it's worse, so I'm very happy with this simple hearing aid vacuum device that appears to be solid and well built.
