I got this as a Christmas gift for my baby, who will be 8 months old in December. She hasn't played with it yet, so I don't know what she will think, but I got it out and messed around with it some today. There is a lot to keep her attention, and it seems like it will be a good learning toy. It's bigger than I expected, but not too big-I will probably be able to take it with me when we travel to visit family. The colors are bright, and there is a good variety of activities. I can't wait to see how she does with it.

This is our daughter's number one go to toy. The blocks interact with multiple sides of this cube and have built in storage to put them all away. The counting and animals are cool and the large size of the toy allows her to pull up on it with out it tipping over. I am sure we will have this one for a while

My 8 month old loves this activity cube. There are so many different ways for her to play, and she does them all. The blocks are cute, and interactive. The buttons are easy to push and light up and talk/play sounds. The phone is easy for her to removed play with, and the other side of the cube has soundless activities that she also enjoys. She loves to stand at the cube, and there are no sharp corners for her to get hurt on! Highly recommended for the price!

VTech Alphabet Activity Cube We bought this for our 7 month old. In a short two days, it has amused her for hours as she explores the moving parts and sounds. While she's too young to learn the alphabet or what sounds various animal make, she is learning that her actions make things happen. The doors and knobs teach her motor skills. And I'm hoping soon to be teaching her to put the blocks away inside the cube. The telephone will come in handy when I'm on the phone. All in all, I see this as a compact way to entertain and educate a child - easy to store and easy to take to a friend's for an outing. She'll enjoy this cube for years to come!

This thing has been a huge hit! It gets played with before anything else. I've seen others have issues with the letter blocks, but I didn't experience that. Mine clearly says "It's me, the letter A". When the piano keys are pressed it plays a song instead of random noise, for which I am thankful. It contains 13 letter blocks instead of 26 because they are dual sided. The only part that doesn't get used is the side with the window. It seems like that part would be better for a baby under 12 months.

This activity cube is so much larger than I expected! We absolutely love this toy! I like that you can put the blocks in the little hole that then says what letter it is. The songs, sounds, etc that the cube makes are fun and catchy. The only complaint that I have is that the side that is suppose to be a peg maze is pretty useless. I bought this for my 10 month old and it is the perfect size for him to pull up on which is a plus because it is pretty sturdy and has not toppled over like many other toys do when he pulls up on them. My 3 year old has also been enjoying playing with this! Would definitely purchase again.

This activity cube is great!! Especially for the price! We bought this for our third child who came along later than the first two, after we had gotten rid of all the baby toys. When the old two were little we had the much more expensive Fisher-Price version. This VTech one wins hands down! It is basically the same cube, just different sounds and songs. The biggest difference is that with the Fisher Price cube you actually get 26 blocks, one for each letter of the alphabet, whereas with the VTech version you only get 13 cubes, they put a letter on each side of each block. Definitely not a deal breaker when you consider that with my older kids, they only played with this until the age of 2 for learning, after that they just played with it for fun. I think the FP one was a bit bigger and heavier, but again, considering that we paid more than double five years ago, I think this VTech version wins!

My 9 month old loves this thing. We bought it for him a month or two ago. He loves pressing all of the buttons. He bobs his head back and forth to the music too. He also likes to try to stand up to grab the toy on top. He hasn't figured out the side that you can drop the blocks down yet. And he can't put the blocks in the front part that tells you what letter it is either but that just means there is much more to discover for him. This toy is so much better than the similar train one. The train is annoying and plays the same song over and over. I also bought this cube for my friend's baby who loves it too.

Santa present for my 18 month daughter and she loved it. The side with the buttons was her favorite. I thought the side where you drop the blocks down was stupid when I showed her, but apparently kids love it because she does it all the time. She's had it for over a month now and still uses it on a regular basis which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. I do wish you could remove the top piece where the blocks move across the bar. Once you snap it on, it won't come off. It would make it easier to stack something on top of it if it could be removed and it's almost too small to be worth it. If I could do it over, I would have just thrown it out.

I bought this to spoil my grandson while he was up visiting from out of state. He is only 7 1/2 months old. His eyes lit up when he was placed in front of this cube. He caught on really fast and was able to push buttons, play with the storage unit, move all the activity gears and movement activities. When company came over all the children LOVED playing with this too. They enjoyed making words with the alphabet blocks and pushing all the musical buttons. The children were from ages 4 to 14, yes even the 14 year old was having a blast with this cube, playing with his cousin. This is well worth the price.
