Singer comes through again!

I was pleasantly surprised when my new sewing machine arrived. When I read about other accessories that you need with it I thought I would have to purchase them extra. But I discovered that they came with the product. At first I did not know how to set the dials in order to sew with it. But after watching the cd that comes with it, I learned how to successfully use it. I was so delighted with the automatic needle threader. It took me a few trys but I finally learned how to use it. The instruction manual makes it very easy to understand and learn how to use it. I am very satisfied with this product.

Right in the middle of sewing a very important garment, my old machine just stopped. I took it to be fixed and he wanted almost $200.00 to repair it. I said no, and headed straight to Amazon. I wanted an out of the box easy to use machine for minimum sewing needs (repairs of jeans, repairs of hems, etc). I just got the machine, un-boxed and set up bases on quick set up guide, ran a few test stitches, and repaired 3 pars of jeans quickly and easily! I am very happy with the entire design and the flawless use. would recommend to new sewers, or to someone Like me, who just needs a simple no nonsense machine! Yeah!!!

Great all around machine!

I learned to sew on a treadle machine when I was 12, over 65 years ago! I wanted a light weight, basic machine, easy to thread, easy to use. I love this little machine. It I so easy to use, so easily adjustable. I gave away a very expensive, "sews through anything", machine because it just did not adjust easily or sew evenly. This little machine is my "go to" for everyday stuff. We shrink as we get older and lots of pants have to be shortened. Granddaughters think we can fix anything and buy sparkle encrusted gowns that are slippery fabric and too long! Grandmas fix these things with pleasure and love and this little sewing machine.

All claims were very accurate and complete....I love the convenience, easy to use, compact machine, and the HELP LINE person was absolutely amazing!!!!!! I of course jammed the machine the very first day....she was very patient and explained every detailed procedure of "unjamming" and rebuilding my unit....Love love love!

Fantastic sewing machine

Fantastic sewing machine. I wanted something that could hem pants, fix drapes etc and this fit the bill perfectly. All metal parts so you don't have to worry about the bobbin becoming misaligned. Recommend this one highly.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and this is our first sewing machine. We love it. It was very easy to thread and to fill the bobbins and the instructional DVD was so helpful. We love this machine and can't wait to get more projects completed with it.

Great first sewing machine!

Bought this as a Christmas gift and my sister-in-law loved it! She has never sewn before in her life but this was a great machine to get her started. She has hemmed pants and made curtains already! Great starter machine, great price, easy to use! Very happy.

Bought to replace an older model

I checked this out by cutting down a pillowcase and making a small doll sized one. It worked great. I’m looking forward to doing more with it. It’s advanced compared to my other machine. I used my phone to rewind and watch the video on threading with the self threading needle thingy. I didn’t have any luck with the instructional CD that came with it, but everything appears to be online. I am well pleased.
