I have four grandchildren and the oldest is 4. This was the present they all wanted to play with at Christmas. When they come to play at my house, this is the toy that causes the most fights! They love it!

My 19m old daughter is straight obsessed with this toy. She loads the balls then smacks them down and will sit for an hour straight doing it over and over again, this toy is awesome. Loud but awesome haha

This toy is great! I bought for my ten month old baby and he’s loving it .. the balls are a little hard to push in the hole without the hammer but he just stands up to push them in and it keeps him occupied for quite some time. Product came packaged and sealed in perfect condition.

My son loves this toy more than anything else I could have imagined. From aa soon as he could sit up and watch the balls go through the levels to now almost 2 yeara old he LOVES hitting the balls himself. I even bough the batatat version just for more balls. Yes they fit. Its just a shame they dont sell extra balls on their own.

I love this toy. My 3 year old loves this toy BUT he always loses the balls for it. This would be the 3rd one I have bought. I must say, be prepared for a loud hammering sound from your child hitting the ball aggressively until the balls finally goes in.

Baby learned great OT skills from it, and she is just loving it! Just to add, the rest of us have fun with it too, and cannot see this ever becoming boring.

I bought this for my daughter at 20 months old. She LOVES it, and so does her 3 year old brother! It's sturdy enough to withstand two toddlers, and comes apart relatively easy whenever they inevitably put something inside that shouldn't be. I absolutely recommend this toy!

So the detachable tray... It allows us to store the toy and base in a small space easily in a cabinet where it wouldn't fit if they were attached. Next, my boy loooves this toy. He loves for his sister or me to play with him - or alone. We haven't used the mallet in forever, so you could "loose" the mallet and it's still really fun for my son to push the balls down himself. It also never tips over that way. We just whack them down ourselves. He laughs like crazy. He has played with it from about a yr old, but at 2 1/2, it has seemed to be enjoyed more and more the older he gets. He is smart and very verbal, enjoys playing educational computer games, writing and coloring, and mostly being super-active, yet this simple toy he loves. He loves cars and balls and this has 4 balls and speed!

This was a great addition to our cause and effect toys. Our G-daughter is now a toddler, so she loved this toy immediately. The bright colors and the squeak hammer is fun way to learn the ball goes in and the ball comes out. The balls can easily just be pushed in without using the hammer. The top half and base comes apart, so I added some sticky back velcro to keep the pieces together. The front is see through plastic, so no access to the balls till they come out the bottom. Perfect toy for our toddler G-daughter.

My daughter likes playing with balls (shut it!) and this toy was pretty colorful and seemed enjoyable. It took my daughter a while to get use to the hammer (she's 10 months) but she's done it a few times. My daughter has other toys where she can put balls in a hole of sorts and this one you HAVE to use the hammer to get them in so there's that. But once my daughter got use to it, it's not so bad. I do have to say I see what the other commenters are talking about when they say they constantly have to tilt the base to get the balls to come out, or put it back on the bottom base because their kid just knocks it over. I don't know why they didn't just glue or connected the base to the bottom stand. But overall it's still good and I still like it. My kid goes to this gift more than other toys.
