• SpeedMark fractional graduations on blade
  • Non glare white blade
  • Easy grip, thick rubber jacket

Sturdy. Easy to read. Not too bulky. I've used dewalt, fatmax and a few others. The quality of this is beyond those. Plus the white is easy on the eyes and makes it easy to read. Stand out is fine enough for typical jobs, even framing.

Nice tool. It is as clear as a tape can be. The flat white is easy on the eyes. I don't need millimeters for most of the chore work I do. I read a complaint about the size of the case not being standard. It is exactly the same as my 30 year old Stanley 20 ft Powerlock, which it will replace. It stands on its own to about 90 inches, with 7 feet being easy. It feels very substantial. I doubt I'll bang it around much but it feels like a real tool. I like the armor and the grip it provides.

Really smooth extension and retraction of the tape. It's relatively heavy, in the good way, and seems like it's very durable. Numbers are very easy to read. The locking button is a bit stubborn to get locked into place. It's not too bad but it doesn't easily slide down to lock. Ok, hold on, it does easily slide down to lock but not as "buttery" as a $30 tape measure but for $7 I'm very happy.

Excellent price and features (markings of fractions). My co-workers love to use it. I have submerged it in puddles and rubbed it all through concrete dust. It still works. Update: I finally killed it because the grip got stuck between a metal framing track and the concrete subfloor one too many times. I will probably buy it again because it is cheap, but I found a $3 version by the same company. I know I am going to kill these things because of the rough environment in which I am working, so I might as well get the cheapest one.

Only used it for a few days but so far so good. I'll edit later if I need to add anything. This tape is black and has a thick rubber cover outside of it so when I drop it off a roof or whatever it probably won't mess it up much...😲 The case is a little bulky but not a big deal. About 1 3/4" wide 3" tall. The case is 3" long so when you measure out from a wall for example you just add 3" instead of 2 7/16 or some odd number. Works for me. Marked red at the 16" and 32". The tape is about an inch wide and holds up for about 8' before it bends. 👍Thing I like: 1.) Case is 3" long and makes it easier to add to measurements. 2.) Heavy rubber cover. 3.) Good markings. 4.) Wide base so it sits flat. 🤔Suggestions: 1.) Make the tape bright white color instead of off white.

Bought this to replace an old Stanley tape measure that I somehow keep losing. Used it about 10 times for far, very easy to read, extends and retracts like a breeze. Already like it better then my Stanley tape measure. Can be a bit tough to read at times with lots of bright white or florescent light, as the tape measure is white and I sometimes have a hard time reading the 16ths. Overall, very happy with purchase and will buy more.

Surprisingly good tape measurer. Wide body looks like description. Black cover has good soft feel. The pics of it show a white face which is why I ordered it (tired of yellow and hard to read) but it is actually lt blue. Not a deal breaker still easier to read. Lock is just right and easy to use. Good solid spring retractor without slamming it. I've been through a lot of tapes and am amazed to see quality and price on this item hence the gushing review : )

At 3x3” and 1.75” thick this is beefier than the average 16’ tape measure. This is mostly due to the rubber wrapped case which feels great in my hand and also helps avoid scratching delicate surfaces. Accuracy is dead on. I love the 1” wide (off) white tape and the 1/8” readings. I’m tired of 16’ tapes that are 3/4” wide. But the real dealmaker for me is the lock lever which, when partially depressed, can slow down/control the blade retraction. I’m not sure if this was an intended or accidental feature of the lock mechanism but I hate tapes with no ability to control retraction, which is almost all. For $6 it’s a no brainer. I also ordered the 12’ version for a better fit in my shop apron pouch.

Smooth operation and the fractional measurements make it so much quicker to get exact measurements. I’m not a contractor so I don’t use tape measure all the time, so this just makes it quick and easy to get an exact measurement when doing my projects around the house. I used to have a Stanley tape measure for many many years until it was lost. This one feels and works so much better. I just hope it lasts as long.

Searched up the cheapest 25ft tape measure expected the most crappiest and most floppiest measuring tape. This tape measure blew away all my expectations. It had a surprising heft to it which signaled to it being high quality. It wasn’t made of cheap material and the tape wasn’t very floppy! For around half the price of other tape measures on this site, this is a great bargain!
