This is my son's second pair. He bought the same ones last school year and it is finally starting to wear holes but he still uses them inside for house shoes. The new ones he has worn for only about a week but they appear to be exact same so I'm sure he'll get another full yr out of these new ones. The black color is really a dark grey or marled look but he likes that over if they were a more solid color as the dirt doesn't show much. I only had to wash them maybe 4 times last yr. They have a very flat sole which is excellent for him he has wide flat feet and these do not make his feet sore. They do run a tiny bit big and stretch so he is happy they last thing entire year as his feet grow. Still true to size as my son is 12 wears a 6y in these, his general shoe size is 6-7y, equal to a 8 1/2 in woman.
I absolutely LOVE Sanuk products I have purchased a total of 4 pairs in the past for myself and my older daughter they have always been very comfortable, my recent order which was a size BOYS size 6 for my son was massive they are so big!!!! Be leary and careful about the sizes prior to purchasing. Thankfully they wont ever go out of style so he will eventually grow into them, also I do wish the bottoms would not wear out so quickly because the thread wears out they can be slippery to wear when its damp or raining outside. *******UPDATE******* I bought a pair of these for my daughter's Birthday (Green Canvas Style) since she loved mine so much, they literally feel apart in less than 2 months with occasional usage, to be honest I am completely shocked at how quickly they came apart a the seam, I will be reaching out to Sanuk hopefully they will either place or refund my money.

As a matter of fact, aside from sneakers, Sanuks are the only shoes he wears, which is a pretty good indication of how well they last and how comfortable they are. Of course, it helps a lot that they’re quite popular and in style where we live.
