I read that this product gives a lot of UTI issues to cats. I have to disagree. Our cat Manfred Steel developed a UTI condition while he was eating the regular food from the Purina brand, he was 2 yo three years ago. We almost lost him and was taken to emergency twice. We switched our vet and went with a holistic one, she advised us to get this brand -which is affordable-, that was the best change we made because our cat started getting better and until now he doesn't have any conditions. His hair is also smoother and brighter. Per experience, I know this brand did not cause the UTI condition to Manfred but actually saved his life. In the picture, he is the one posing on his perch.

My very social, senior (13 & 10) cats started hiding under the bed, throwing up a lot and pooping in strange places, like behind the curtain - GROSS! Anyhow, I took this as a sign that they might not feel well. Before going to the vet, I thought I would try a high-quality food. Well, they've been eating it for a month and we haven't had any throwing up or inappropriate pooping! The only hiding was during a freak thunderstorm, so that's understandable. I also noticed that they haven't been losing clumps of hair (I figured it was normal shedding - they have no bald spots) or scratching as much as they had been, which I didn't realize might also be a symptom until it stopped. Though this food costs about three times more than the junk I was buying them before, it's been totally worth the cost and I plan to feed them this dry food from here on out, with the occasional wet food as a treat. They seem to enjoy eating it as well, and it doesn't smell funky like some cat foods seem to. I am happy I found this food!

This food helped my cat so much! My dear tuxedo cat... Handsome, but prone to stomach upset and vomiting. Finally at age 12 he was losing fur- he looked ratty, bald spots, poor guy, and throwing up more than ever. Thanks to the reviews- I tried this Blue Buffalo, sensitive stomach variety. He's been on it about a year or so. Now, age 15, his fur is lush, seldom any hair loss. He looks and acts like a young adult cat. Amazing! He likes this food, keeps this food down, and is so much healthier. I'm adding my review to all the others, recommending it. By the way- if you give your sick kitty treats, make sure they are healthy. Grain free, limit amounts, stop giving it if your cat throws it up. ************************************************ Update. My dear tuxedo cat, now 16, continues to thrive on Blue Buffalo sensitive stomach. His fur is even thicker than the last time I posted. To be honest his fur was never this thick before. I wish I had known about this cat food years ago. Kitty seldom loses his hair/ seldom has any bald patches now. I give Blue Buffalo to the other 3 cats as well -they all like it. My tuxedo kitty doesn't throw up much now... he used to barf all the time. For cat treats I got some Halo sensitive stomach cat food and put it in an empty treat box. That's what all the cats get now for cat treats. All 4 cats seem to thrive on this cat food, and barfing is rare around here these days. I never would have tried Blue Buffalo except for the reviews -that's why I feel so strongly about leaving my review.

This food is incredible. We have a rescue kitty that was a finicky eater. she had been a stray for 4 years and in that time developed a taste for Meow Mix and only that. She refused to eat anything else. It got to the point, though, that she was vomiting on a daily basis, so we knew we had to make a change. We spent 2 weeks transitioning her to this food and even when she was eating 50% blue buffalo and 50% meow mix, the vomiting was greatly reduced. It's been about 2 months now and in that period, she's thrown up exactly twice. The difference is night and day. We went from daily vomiting episodes to almost no vomiting episodes. Incredible. Her coat is shinier and healthier, and she is eating less of the blue buffalo than she was of meow mix, because it's much more nutritious. She's maintaining a healthy weight and she's much more energetic and playful. I highly recommend this to anyone with a cat that has a sensitive stomach and frequent vomiting. It really made a huge difference.

My cat has barfed for almost 12 years. I am ashamed to admit that I didn't address this issue and just figured it was due to fur ingestion or the fact that she likes to eat plastic packing tape....I have been cleaning up cat vomit for nearly a decade. I mean this cat barfed almost every day. I don't even have a house with carpet anymore because of this cat. I had to move into a rental house while our new house was being built and the rental had shag like carpet. You get the picture....I bought this and my cat has not barfed even one time!!!!!!!!! The freedom!!!! Now I still walk around looking where I step (habits are hard to break) but I am a convert to this food and am sorry I didn't address this problem sooner. If your cat barfs, BUY THIS FOOD.

This has been the perfect thing for my cat who used to throw up more than I thought he should. He doesn't throw up at all now.

We've been using other groc store "premium" brands for decades and even with the sensitive systems variety, poor Merlin and Leo yakked constantly all over our floors, shoes, furniture. Rugs ruined (stained) etc. Merlin lost 10% of his body weight in the past year and testing said nothing major was happening so we were getting pretty concerned. The vet gave us special food but not a 1 of the 3 would touch it. (just as well at $100 a month for the 3 of them) We'd tried everything of any quality in the grocery store so I thought maybe Blue Buffalo? I got a bag of the indoor chicken/brown rice variety from Amazon and not only were they jostling to get to the bowls but not one of them has been sick in the past 3 days. 3 days without cleaning up cat yak is very good around here. They also have a sensitive stomachs variety but so far so good. It has veggies and fruit so I was kind of hesitant but they love this stuff and the cranberries and blueberries will be good for their little old men bladders. So, if you have a kitty who is prone to stomach upsets, this is a food we can highly suggest you try. It's so nice to see them not feeling nauseous! By my calculations we'll feed the three of them for about a dollar a day.

Meet Norm. That's short for Norbert (our dayghter named him). He's about 12. He's a 12 year old neutered male siamese type rescue who lives both in and outdoors. He used to barf a lot. I thought it was from eating bugs, mice, snakes anda lot of other gross stuff. (yes, he's seen the vet - its not worms, cancer, etc) . So, one day we were getting low on cat food and rather than go to the local pet store (where a barely trained 18 year old would recommend whatever was going to win them some sales contest) I started looking on Amazon. I ran across this and thought "I wonder- could anything stop Norm from vomiting 2-3 times a week? THIS DID! It also has enough omegas to keep our other rescue (a 3 legged tailless black manx) from looking like Dandruff Girl. I'm sold on the Sensitive Stomach Blue Buffalo food! And I'm saving so much time cleaning up barf- he's thrown up just twice since we got this and once was when he ate ALL the dog's food (ugh!)

I am so happy I decided to buy this food. I have had Mitzi for almost 5 years. When I got her from the shelter she was eating Taste of the Wild. I kept her on that food, but she was always throwing it up. I dealt with that for years. A year and a half ago I got Peyton and his owner was feeding him Blue Buffalo Healthy Living. I liked how small the kibble was (Mitzi threw up mostly because she has issues with her gums that I have to give her medication for) so I started feeding them Blue Buffalo. She threw up less, but was still throwing up. Last month I decided to switch to the sensitive stomach formula. Mitzi used to throw up 4-5 times a week.. she has only thrown up 2 or 3 times this month and hasn’t thrown up in a week. This food is so worth the price!!! I highly recommend you try this if you have a pukey kitty.

I rarely write reviews, but this cat food is perfect! My cat used to throw up no matter what type of food I would give her, every single day. I got this food for my cat about 4 months ago and she hasn't thrown up since! It's truly a miracle knowing that my cat can eat without a problem. HIGHLY recommended for cats who throw up easily!
