As a new RV'er last year, I think I spent more time reading reviews and watching videos about everything to do with travel trailer camping than I did actually camping. I was a black tank newbie but I noticed that, unlike my (and our government's) bank account, it seemed like more stuff was going in than was coming out and this concerned me. I'd dump the tank but the gauge would never read empty and sometimes only a trickle would come out. I tried several different methods to clean out the tank but nothing worked. I was convinced that I was at least dealing with the dreaded "poo pyramid". I started researching flush valves but I saw a lot of mixed reviews. I read enough good reviews on the Flush King to give it a try at the end of the season and I'm glad I did. I was disappointed at first because I expected the flow of water from the hose to blast up into the black tank breaking loose whatever horrible stuff was in there. However, I could tell right away that the water volume and pressure was no match for the length and bend of the black tank drain pipe. I was bummed out until I decided to keep the lower valve closed and just let the water slowly fill the black tank. I let it fill for about five minutes keeping a close eye on the water level by looking down the toilet. I shut the water off and opened the valve and, thanks to the clear section of the unit, I watched several weekends worth of my family's vile waste quickly leave the bowels of our RV. Hallelujah! I was so happy I could've kissed the Flush King but..ewww. I repeated the process several more times until it looked the same coming out as it did going in. Thanks to the Flush King I knew I was putting my RV away for the season with a "clean" black tank. I may not use it every time we camp but I might because it's easy to use and it should prevent buildup from starting.

This Flush Valve is the best and I will never be in an RV again without one. A couple of months ago, I couldn't close my black water valve and it would not empty. Fortunately, a neighbor had one of these flush valves and it freed it right up. I ordered one the next day. Every time I leave an RV site that I've been in for awhile, I flush my black water tank several times using this valve. It really removes a lot of additional solids from the tank. Believe me, if you ever need one of these, you're gonna kick yourself for not ordering one. FYI: Don't buy one of these that doesn't include the valve. You can't put pressure on the tank without closing the valve.

This thing works great. I've used it over 10 times with my rockwood roo. If your rv doesn't have a black tank flush built in and your sewer line has a few corners on it like most do, this is the product for you. It's amazing after dumping the tank how much stuff is still in there. One thing I recommend doing is replacing the adapter for turning the water on and off. This one comes with a round dial to turn the water on/off, which can be hard to turn if it's wet. I went to Home Depot and replaced it with one that has a lever instead of a round dial, which made it much easier.

This is a great product for those of you who, like us, have an older RV that does not have a black tank flush. It also has the added feature of a clear elbow so you can wave to your poop as it rockets by. Once we drain the tank we close this valve and leave the dump valve open and turn the water on to fill the tank and then rinse and repeat. They even throw in a free check valve so you don't contaminate the campgrounds freshwater system.

Bought this for my sisters 5th wheel trailer. Got sick and tired of using a wand to clean the tank. This works great! Very easy installation, and it comes with TWO anti-siphon valves. My only critique is, I wish the water flush inlet was larger. I have a 3/4" black water cleaning hose, but the port where the hose connects has a 1/2" discharge (the port which fills and flushes the tanks). Otherwise, I love this. If you haven't flushed your tanks, and the black water smells horrible, I highly suggest flushing it a dozen times to break up ALL the debris.

As a new travel trailer owner I would lie awake at night thinking about 3 things. 1- all the great times my family was going to have. 2- the safety aspects of pulling two tons of vacation fun behind my Honda Ridgeline wannabe truck and 3 - dumping the poo stew. Needless to say I was not very thrilled about this part. I watched YouTube videos, googled step by step instructions, bought rubber gloves, an extra heavy duty sewer hose (which was justified since the hose that came with it sprung a leak the first time out), that downhill snake thing, a dedicated length of garden hose, etc. And this was all before I had even taken this thing on the road. I had almost convinced myself that I needed one of those expensive sewer pumps when I came across this and the price & good reviews convinced me to try it. It's well worth it. As gross a job as this is, I would rather see what's coming out so I KNOW the tank is clean. You can flush it as many times as you like until it runs clear. I have been doing 4 for the black water and 2 for gray. My tanks are clean & fresh. No smells, no worries. I even sing a song while I'm doing it. "oh black water keep on rolling and I ain't got no worries cuz there ain't no more turdies at allllll". Get it. Your family and your tanks will thank you. And if your not sure how to use it go to YouTube.

My cable for the dump value had broken and I drove home before dumping, during that trip I guess "things" settled at the value and wouldn't dump. Tried running my black water flush to add a little pressure but no luck. This works great, simple enough for a poorly trained monkey (like me) to use and had my blockage unclogged in no time. The clear elbow lets you know with confidence when your blockage is clear and the value can serve as a backup to get you home in case one ever fails. Its going into my RV toolkit, which is a very space conscious set of must haves.

I bought a used RV that turned out to have a black tank that was full of solidified waste. I spent more than a week of trying to clean it out from the top, using the built-in flush system plus lots of chemicals and water, without success. A friend had one of these, brought it over and used it to quickly solve our problem. I got my own and used it for several months this summer and it did everything it claimed it would. Now I use the built-in system every time and back flush every two or three dumps for a more thorough cleaning. Quick, easy and effective.

If you own a trailer or motor home and it has a black tank you want to own this! Works awesome and it allows you to see what’s all coming out but more importantly when the flush is clear water. You will be amazed and after you do the back flush which this allows how much more junk was still in your tank. Easy to use it just takes a little longer... Hook up the water hose to it and let it back fill your black tank and let it rip you will be shocked how much more junk comes out!

If you think your black tank is clean, you’re wrong. We’ve only had our 2018, brand new camper for a couple of months and we have a built-in black tank flush system so I thought it must be okay. But I kept waking up to the most awful stench. So I got online and looked for a solution and then found this. As soon as it came, I hooked it up and started the flushing process. I have done the backflush at least 8 or 9 times and there are STILL things coming out of my tank!!! I cannot believe it! I don’t even know how all that waste got in there!! My trailer smells a whole lot better now and I’m going to keep flushing until my black tank water finally runs clear. I HIGHLY recommend this product and will never camp without it!
