All three of my cats love these. I've noticed that since switching to an all wet food diet about a year ago, one of my cat's teeth was getting dingy looking and she seemed to have a bit of trouble chewing. I managed just barely to get a look inside her mouth and noticed some redness and swelling at the gumline of one of her teeth at the idea. After trying and failing with brushing her teeth (I could get the front and canines relatively well but the sides and back were not happening. Before scheduling an appointment with the vet, I decided to give these a try and Minen LOVES them! Of course I had to give them to Jack and Aldora and all three of them love them and what has been the best part is that they actually seem to be working! Minen's breathe is back to normal and the redness and swelling has gotten so much better. To the point that she is back to eating like normal. I will definitely be keeping these in their dental care regime.

Treats, everyone loves them. Whether it's a cupcake, a bowl of ice cream, or buying yourself a new car, nothing feels better than getting a treat. I used to think I reacted quite modestly to treats, but I think through osmosis, I may now go absolutely crazy when I even smell them, and do all I can to keep them rolling... At least, that's what my cats do when I open this bag and hand them each a morsel! We've all been in that situation where we see a sleeping cat, are compelled to pick it up to give it Lovins, and get a stinky yawn in our fur covered faces. These dental treats may not make the scent go away, but at least the toughness of the chew (as advertised by the crunching of my cats) supposedly helps clean the teeth a bit. What they don't do is satiate the animal, seemingly at all... Because suddenly the cats are the most animated they get when a whiff of these treats is even partially presented. I think when I even think of giving them a treat, they sense it. When I walk to where we store them, suddenly their treat sense tingles and their primary objective is to consume. Anyways, long story short, if you're looking for something to absolutely make your cat fall in love with something with a dental attribute (we all know brushing is difficult), get these treats. Your cats WILL thank me. And you, if they get around to it.

I was woken at 3:30 this morning by loud thumps and bangs from my rear parlor/living room. Alarmed, and fearing burglars, I turned on the lights and rushed in, to be confronted with the spectacle of my recently-adopted cat, Sir Fergus the Fat, standing amongst a pile of books and other things he had knocked down from a glass-fronted bookcase. When I looked more closely, he was standing with all four paws, and all 16 of his furry pounds, on top of this box of Greenies, and pounding on the lid, in a (successful) effort to get it to come off. As I watched, he delicately inserted one of his paws into the box and fished out a treat, ate it, started to purr, and dove in after some more. By then I was awake, and grabbed the container, which I had put in a place that I had hoped was inaccessible to prevent Fergus from morphing from fat to morbidly to obese, out of his paws, and stuffed it in the refrigerator. Take that, fat cat. Perhaps these addictive treats should require prescriptions, as do opiates? I have another cat who will drag small bags of Greenies to the bedroom in the middle of the night and drop them on my face, so I thought I would try the bigger size container, and see how long it lasted us. Also, after a brief flirtation with "Temptations" cat treats, I wanted to see whether Greenies were worth the premium price. Tragically, it appears that my cats believe this to be the case. Don't misunderstand: a treat is a treat is a treat. But just as there is hamburger and filet mignon, there appear to be treats, and Greenies. I will say that after a lot of years noshing on Greenies, my two older cats, Molly (15) and Cassie (13), do have very good teeth. This may be correlation rather than causation, but I'm not doing anything special in terms of dental care, and my vet is v. pleased with their teeth. I do, however, have to strictly ration the Greenies to keep their weight under control. And I'm quite sure that Fergus will hate me forever now that he can't repeat his clever trick. Until, that is, he learns to open the refrigerator.

5 stars says. "I love it", but it isn't me who loves them. My cat Luigi loves these treats and Amazon has an excellent price on them.

I was told by a few people their cats didn't like these. They also didn't have the catnip flavor! I have an old cat who has never liked treats (she'll play with them, that's it), and she loves these. They're a soft but firm crunch. I hope they help with dental care, because that's important and can be difficult and/or expensive. My younger cat basically inhales them, so I am not sure about the dental benefits! She also tore and chewed a hole through the bag, so if you have a crazy kitty with strong teeth and nails, you might want to get a sturdier container. She stole them out of the cabinet!

Very pleased with the product. Treats smell very fresh, cats love them and they do have the "crunch" factor that helps clean the fur-balls teeth. One of our cats has teeth problems and doesn't always chew them. If we give him more than 2-3 at a time he doesn't keep them down as he eats them whole. So if you have an older cat with teeth problems just be aware to only give 2-3 at a time. These don't give the cat nip "high" like actual cat nip but our cats can smell then from a room away once the bag is open and they come running. Great treats and after a month of frequently opening they still seem to be fresh when sealed properly.

I hate that I bought these... my cats just won't leave me alone. They want them CONSTANTLY, I DO mean constantly; hence the 5 stars. But I can't even walk through the kitchen without them meowing for them. What the heck did they put in here? Crack?

I have 5 cats, one adopted from the animal shelter and 4 feral cats that were rescued just after weaning. My shelter cat is oldest and her teeth could use cleaning but I don't really find that realistic on my budget. All 5 really like these treats and I believe that their teeth are improving, their breath definitely is improving. I have not observed any vomiting that could be attributed to these treats. They are on their third 11 oz. box of catnip flavor and I will continue to buy them as long as I find them to be an acceptable substitute to paying several hundred dollars for teeth cleaning.

My cat loooooves these treats. Cat owners know that our furballs can tend to be picky, so I bought these last year (the salmon flavor) without much expectation. OH MAN. LITTLE DID I KNOW HOW MUCH MY CAT WOULD LOVE THESE. She will purr and sweetly meow, asking for them every evening when I get home. It's become a lovely part of our relationship (especially since she tends to prefer my husband over me haha). I'm not really sure how much they help her teeth to be honest, but hey, every little bit helps. (I also can sometimes use a q-tip to gently put enzymatic toothpaste in her mouth... She does not like it!!) Our cat was a rescue, we got her as an adult and honestly, food was how we started bonding, before she let us cuddle and pet her. Bottom line: happy cat, happy owners!! We have these treats on subscribe and save, a little bag comes every month and I don't know how but she KNOWS. Haha. Five stars. Edit: Forgot to say we tried a few different flavors, which she was "eh" about, until we landed on the salmon flavor and she GOBBLED THEM UP LIKE NECTAR OF THE GODS.

my cat loves me. I have nursed him through 3 broken tails and losing a leg because of an infection from him getting it caught muskrat trap (so was his diagnosis from our family veterinarian). Ive spent months couped up in my room with this cat, changing wraps and tending to wounds. Maintaining his medicine and keeping him company. When i visit the family farm he comes running from the woods to greet me with his old familiar hobble and meow. His love for me is unlike that of any animal i have ever encountered on this planet. He LOVES these treats and has tried to kill me twice for not getting them out fast enough. The bag sound alone turns him into a murderous monster with an appetite that of a bear.
