At first I'll admit my disappointment with the game. There's no new neighborhood, and not a lot of new stuff. However over a bit of time you start to see how much depth it adds to the game. The passage of time has more relevance for your Sims as does the environment. It works well with Supernatural which ended up adding a bunch of things that work better with Seasons and have more of a place. I found the best neighborhood for it to be the one from Pets as the more outdoorsy-vibe seemed most at home. Most of the added items are outerwear for winter, and some stuff for the festival grounds. However, the potted garden option is now more useful than it was in just Supernatural where a fence could easily protect your garden. So basically, don't expect this expansion to wow you, but it adds a lot of depth to the game and a sense of world to the environment.

This expansion pack, is a good one, you`ll love seeing your sim family`s playing in the snow, making snowmen, snow angels and of course snowball battles. There are other snow activity's also. Dress your sims for winter, cause you don`t want them catching colds and in the summer there can be heat stroke, so be careful outside in summer. So there are snow, heat, thunder and rain. there was a Seasons expansion pack for "The Sims 2" also, but this version is better. The graphics are very good when set to medium, but on the highest settings they are really great. (not that it matters) You get to celebrate Halloween, Christmas and more, there are decorations for holidays also. If you are a "Simmer" (and there are millions of us) you already love this, but if you are new, you too will love the "Sims 3 Seasons. I Highly recommend this game to "Simmers" new and old. Trust me, people!!! Thanks

I bought this for my grandaughters. It was an upgrade from their Sims 2. They love it, all 4 of them. The cd has an excellent variety of possibility. They can play their Sims 3 and this Sims 3 Seasons adds all of the seasons, snow Halloween, costumes, Christmas and Christmas decorations for their house. It is a great game because it has Life's Lessons in it. They learn how to keep their house neat and clean. They can care for children.. babies until they grow up. They have to teach the children all the things a real parent would teach their child or human services will take their kids. It is a great learning game that makes you apply all the thing necessaryskills inorder to have a good family and a good life. It gives some experience in what it will be like to become an adult and a parent when they grow up. It is a great game and it was in excellent condition. Thank you so much. Sandy

Ever since I started playing the Sims entertainment I have longed for a realistic feel and vibe to the game such as weather changes and holiday interaction. This pack gives you that! I can't begin to explain the detail and realistic feel of each season change. And the best part after that aspect is that you can make the seasons last as long as you want them to or just have a single season all throughout your playing! I personally say to this that it has added so much to the game more so than some of the packs I've seen! I have windows 8 and I have installed and running the Supernatural pack, Late Night pack, and High End Loft pack and I have had no issues with them all running together for the ultimate experience. I can't wait to add more but I'm definitely keeping this add-on active in all my play!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!

Sims 3 is all about variety and choices, and the more the better. This package offers players a giant closet of content, places to go and things to do. If you're looking for expanding the Sims 3 world, it's a nice option.

The Sims 3 Seasons I just couldn't wait to install, way too excited to experience weather.I received my Seasons very fast in my mail.I immediately install and change the setting to spring and it was so nice that my sims was enjoying the weather,I love it when the rain falls to see the puddles on the ground and my sim husband getting strike with lightening all the time.I wonder whats up with that, but anyhoo I tried my sim to go to the ocean and that what I think EA done was awesome. Thanks to the seller will buy from them again. But if you want to experience weather for your sims you cant go wrong with The Sims 3 Seasons.

This is my favorite extension pack for the Sims. It came in a white thick disc case and was in good condition. In the case will be a piece of paper with code to install the game

It's about time I get to experience actual seasons in Sims. I love this expansion pack so much! Well, first off, the expansion pack is the "Seasons" expansion pack, so like with actual seasons there's different types of weather. You can have sunny weather, rainy, stormy, snowy, and so forth. The weather, like in real life, is somewhat unpredictable and sometimes doesn't match the season. For example, in one game it didn't start snowing until the third day into winter, which I personally like because the game was acting like the seasons do in real life. In my state of Michigan, winters are not usually the same as the year before, so it felt like the game developers really took this into consideration. I'm actually really happy the season don't start exactly on the date it says they will in the game; not that I would mind if they were exact, but I like having the inconsistencies to make it feel more like real life. You can also, like in real like, watch the tv to look at the weather (and your phone if you have a smartphone; if you don't have a smartphone I have no idea if you can check the weather on your phone or not). Like in real life the weather forecast isn't always accurate, the predicted high temperatures sometimes not being reached and the lows being lower than predicted. The weather forecast will sometimes slightly change too during the week just like in real life so it's not always an exact prediction, another source of reality found in this expansion pack. New seasons and weather mean new activities. During winter there's different activities your Sims can participate in: building a snowman, building an igloo (which your Sims can sleep in), ice skate, and more. These activities can be accomplished by just one Sim or the help of another (I don't know the limit because I only had two Sims try it together in my family). I love that there's these kinds of activities for the winter season. The weather actually affects your Sims now. If they're outside in the summer too long, they get hot and have to cool down inside so they don't get sunburnt. In winter, they need to go inside and warm up so they don't get too cold. I don't know if there's an exact time of being outside in which this happens as I didn't keep track, but from my guess I don't believe there's a set amount of time t takes for either of these to happen. Yay, my Sims can get sick! Yes, this makes me happy. Sims can get sick now from more than pregnancy and spoiled food, which is like much more realistic. You can prevent it sometimes by getting a flu shot at the hospital in the game, and if you don't have one and they get sick you can take them there and they'll get better; otherwise, you're looking at them having a negative moodlet for 2 days, and it'll last longer if you keep them outside during it. What I find interesting too is that you can spread illness to dogs if you have the Pets expansion pack (I have not seen this myself but read about it). With that, since I haven't done it myself, I don't know if it affects cats. I do know for a fact that it does not affect horses, as my Sims own a horse and had done many activities with it while sick. The sickness in the game doesn't really affect the way your Sims do their activities in the game as far as I've seen, but again I could be wrong. The seasons are not limited to just the Seasons expansion pack world. My Sims happen to live inthe Monte Vista expansion pack world, and they experience all the seasons there. I do not know if they also affect travelling for expansion packs like World Adventures as I do not own that expansion pack, but they affect your town. I will find out soon if it affects the University expansion pack, but until then I can't tell you if it does or not. This expansion pack features a lot more clothing, and you even get a new clothing option you make for your Sim, the Outerwear clothing option. This option is just like one of the five original ones (Casual, Formalwear, Nighttime, Workout, and Swimwear) you make for your Sim(s) when you first create your Sim(s). This is mainly for winter to keep them warmer than shorts and a tank top would if that's their daily wear. Nearly every time my Sims go outside in winter, they automatically change into their outerwear without it being a command I inputted nearly every time. I have had a few exceptions to this I believe when one of my Sims went to go groom their horse outside and clean the hooves, but don't recall any other exceptions. This expansion pack also features new furniture for your home, and a lot of the styles are really fun. Many of the new pieces are very naturalistic, an example being a 3x1 space dining room table with rocks built into it with glass over the rocks as a sort of table runner. Other pieces are curved versus being angular, an example being an end table that's available. There are other angular pieces available as well, but I wanted to emphasize that there's more than angular now. One slight negative I did experience with the Seasons expansion pack (though did not take any stars off for) is that my Sims didn't get to experience the festivities associated with each season. I was given a pop-up message in the game for the day kids would go Trick-or-Treating in the fall, but didn't have any come up to the house. If I'm thinking correctly, that might be something that only happens in the Season's world, unless I did something wrong. Maybe it'll only work if I have a kid in a family that'll go do it? I'll figure this out later with another family in another world, but for now have only experienced it with the one family of two Young Adult aged Sims with a horse. For now, I don't have any pictures to include in my review, but will update with some photos of the seasons starting with my first Sim family to experience the Seasons. This expansion pack is one of my favorite ones. There's plenty of new items, lots of new clothing styles, and makes the game feel more real with the weather and changing of seasons. I recommend this to all players of Sims 3 looking for something new to look forward to in the game.

Seasons adds variety to the look and atmosphere of your Sims' towns, while also giving you some new outdoor activities for your Sims to enjoy. I highly recommend the expansion to any Sims fan because weather makes the Sims' lives more realistic and immersive. This expansion is also lot less buggy than Pets, which is great, although there are still a few clunky actions. Activities such as trick-or-treating or trying to eat while holding an umbrella aren't seamless.

I've played the Sims since the beginning and this was one of my favorite expansions. Loved the weather and the amount of detail and immersion it brought to the game. The holidays are cute though after you do it a few times loses it's luster. The new objects are great and add alot of variety and expand on the enjoyment of the game. Enjoyed the festivals and new skill object too! All in all this expansion did exactly what it was suppose to do. Expanded an already good base game and caused me to play it many hours more than I already did. Great expansion worth buying.
