Perfect fit for our Dell PowerEdge R720 in our 19" 2-post rack. Our rapid-rails that came with our server did not have the sliding center bracket for the 2-post rack .. so this was a great solution for getting it mounted.

great price and sturdy to support most any device in reason. better quality and support than most i have seen. I appreciate the rolled edges to provide better back end support - something I have seen other and higher priced products lack. Fit and finish is perfect and happy to get caged nuts and bolts - I have a few bags left from other installs, but always great to have them included - and these are better than the ones I have.

I was worried that this might not fit my rack after reading the review that said it's odd sized. However, since receiving it, I've checked it in literally a dozen different racks, and I can say with certainty that it absolutely DOES fit. The cases / racks I've tried it in are built by: Middle Atlantic (steel and wood, stationary and mobile), Gator, Road Ready (shock mount and non shock), SKB, Raxxess (steel wall mount and steel roll-around), Paradise, Anvil (shock mount and non shock), and Calzone. It fit every rack tested, exactly as would be expected. So, as for the review that said it doesn't fit a standard rack, either the rack in question is a homemade or some other oddball unit/size, the rails in the rack in question are improperly mounted, or the shelf itself has been bent out of shape. It certainly IS NOT the fault of the shelf that it won't fit. If anything, my opinion is that this shelf is a bit overbuilt! For as small as it is, this thing is heavy! It's made of much heaver than usual steel. This shelf is far heaver than my Middle Atlantic shelves. If you need a shallow rack shelf, BUY THIS ONE! It's beefy as can be, and very well constructed.

Steel rack shelves are pretty ordinary items and hard to screw up. These are well made, well painted, and fit a standard rack just like shelves costing 3x as much. You have to be either doing too well, or just overcharging customers to pay big bucks for the same gauge steel in a rack shelf.

Not much to say about this other than it fit perfectly in the rack, holds up my stuff and it looks great. Plus, it has vents that improve airflow around the modem I have on it. No complaints at all. Perfect for what I needed it for!

We used this to place several smaller ancillary units on in a rack rather than just have them sitting all of the place in a tangled mess. The 10" shelf allowed us to run power cords behind it, thus making for a neater installation.

Good sturdy rack, holds my 20# or so of equipment with no problems. Good price and quality. Some reviewers question whether the included screws fit "standard" racks. This ships with 6mm screws and cage nuts. If your rack uses cage nuts there should be no problem. My rack has pre-threaded 10-32 threads so I used my own screws. If you have pre-threaded holes it's good to keep a few extra screws on hand.

I just installed this in a wall mounted 19" rack ( same as ASIN B0041W55YE different mfgr ) . I also tested it on a StarTech.com 3U 19-Inch Steel Vertical Wall Mount ( ASIN : B001YI12A4 ) just to be sure of the sizing ( saw one review that said it did not fit ). it fit 2 different manufactures 19" racks correctly.. Nice shallow shelf for the wall mount racks for placement of table top gear ( switch server, etc that does not have rack ears on it ) surface of shelf ( lip to front of shelf ) is 6.75"

Solid. 2U with 4 attach points on each side. Back lip welded. Just what I needed for a super-heavy Yamaha MX-A5000 amp (56 pounds) that lacked a rack mount kit. Pros: * Heavier gauge steel * No flaws noted * Welded back lip (adds rigidity where you need it most!) * Good attach points Cons: * None. Seriously, none.

Quality 2 Unit Rack Mount Shelf - Bang for The Buck. So impressed, we purchased a 2nd Shelf. 1st Shelf installed in Wiring Closet houses Cable Modem & Router mounted above Switches & PoE Injector. 2nd Shelf was mounted in Mobile Audio Rack. Non Rack Mount Audio Mixer needed a Shelf. We used (4) - 1 inch Velcro strips to strap wrap the Mixer to the Shelf. Perfect! This shelf is firm and stable. Vented Shelf was useful to dissipate heat in Wiring Closet and allowed strapping in Mobile Audio Rack to hold Non Rack Mount Audio Mixer. To eyeball strap location, on shelf for Mixer, we used Blue Painters Tape to layout sides of Mixer on Shelf. For mounting - We used different Rack Screws than what came with this Shelf - Raxxess PTSW25 Rack Screws with Washers (Pack of 25).
