I want to start by saying that I have been purchasing on Amazon for over 10 years. I have been an Amazon Prime member for quite a few years now. I have bought dozens of gift cards from Amazon. Because I always wait until the last minute to buy presents, I always end up just printing an Amazon card to give. I have bought Amazon cards locally during the holidays. So with my history with Amazon, why did I not know that I could buy "real" gift cards and have them shipped Amazon prime????? I went online this year for Christmas and looked at gift cards. I could not believe that I could order gift cards and have them shipped via Amazon Prime. AND not only could I order a gift card and have it shipped in two days, I was also able to get the cute little tin that it came in for free! I am kicking myself now for not even noticing these options before. I love Amazon gift cards because they can be used to buy anything on Amazon. They can be used to purchase Amazon Kindle books as well. Now that I know that I can get it in two days and it basically comes "gift wrapped" everyone will be getting Amazon cards from me in cute tins as presents!

I HIGHLY recommend Amazon gift cards for any present to someone. We purchase A LOT on amazon, person and business and I'm always amazed at how fast my purchases get delivered. With gift cards, your loved one or friend can spend it on and how they want. I love the little tin this one came in. The tin can be used again for another gift card without a tin. It's awesome. Amazons rocks!

The snowflake box is very cute and sturdy - I was actually surprised by just how nice it looks! It's pretty incredible Amazon is not charging extra for that box, as that could easily cost $3-5 anywhere else. It would look very nice on its own, or in a small gift bag with tissue paper. This year Chase Freedom was offering 10% cash back on all Amazon purchases (including gift cards), so we decided to purchase gift cards instead of checks for our dog walker, house cleaner, newspaper delivery guy etc. All of the recipients seemed very happy with this, and the presentation made it feel more like a real gift than just an impersonal check!

If you aren't sure what to buy for someone, the Amazon gift card is your best bet. You can buy any amount you'd like and if you choose the pretty Snowflake tin, it makes the gift extra nice and the tin can be used to hold small things like paper clips, etc. Each year I buy several of these for friends, this is a much safer bet than assuming I know their taste in all things, (I don't) so this is a real winner, and they can select items they'd really love to have. Easy to purchase too, with Prime, arrives in two days.

I purchased the Amazon.com $50 gift card in a snowflake tin for my friend for Christmas, and I'm very pleased with the overall packaging, speed of shipping, and sheer convenience of buying giftcards online from Amazon. If you buy a gift card from a store (like Safeway), you will not get the nice tin or cute gift card - most stores in our area are limited to the plain black gift cards - and you have to buy packaging to make the card look nice! I was able to purchase the gift card with tin, and it was shipped directly to my house without issues. This is the best kind of gift - prepackaged and ready to go! Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase - I will definitely be purchasing gift cards directly from Amazon again.

I love this roomy snowflake! Definitely reusable and it’s cute. I had a cousin and her husband who took me to a doctor’s appointment, then to pick up my refills, and they paid the $10 I didn’t have left! They also drove my to get my hair trimmed and washed (I had a bedsore and couldn’t get it wet) because my mother was sick and we didn’t think it’d be long. They did something else…I can’t even remember! But I did know that my cousin liked books by a certain author, and her husband loves Amazon! I knew they could both use it if he’d share it with her! :) It was great to shop in the gift card section, where I found a lot of them to give as “thank you” cards.

Well there really was no surprise on the card inside but the little tin snowflake is pretty cool. I hung it on my Christmas tree after using the card already. All you do is go to the website on there and it asks you for the code, then adds it to your Amazon balance, if you have an Amazon account that is. Should've bought a couple for the family because they make great Christmas ornaments as well. It seems like a waste to put a gift card in this nice little tin case. Hope people reuse it and not trash it. It would be such a waste.

I buy at least one Amazon gift card for my granddaughter every year. It was such a hit in August for he birthday, I decided to buy it again along with some gifts to open. You can buy just about anything on Amazon! My granddaughter is 22 and struggling to live on her own. I learned that she used her birthday gift card for essentials. Shampoo, conditioner, deodarents and vitamins. I've decided to send her one every three months with a "Just Because You're You" card to help her out.

Amazon gift cards are nothing new, and they are very handy to give as gifts due to the diverse nature of products Amazon offers – certainly your recipient can find something he / she will like to order. These gift boxes, however, are a little more classy than the standard email or printed-off versions at home as it shows you went a little further, the box is very sturdy, and I appreciate the fact Amazon delivers it for free with next day shipping. If you’re going to be spending $50 or more for a gift card, which is the minimum price to have it delivered in a gift box like this, I would recommend you gift this version to your recipients.

Christmas is a joyous and festive time. It used to be an ordeal. Now we use the gift certificates for everyone, and just about every gift giving occasion. We used to do the Black Friday deal and go to every store imaginable. Toys for the youngest on our list. Clothes and ipods for the teens, I n spite of our best efforts we bought the wrong sizes, the wrong colors, the wrong gifts. Not anymore.
