This large jar of roasted edamame is great. I thought it would last very long, but we eat it so often that it went pretty fast. This makes a great snack just by itself, and I also add it to many foods (e.g. soups, salads, cottage cheese) because of its high protein content and because it adds great crunchiness to everything. The second jar I ordered looked more like the picture - the edamame are green and small and much tastier than in the first jar I received (those edamame were brown, large and had loose, dry skins all over that would get stuck in one's throat). I wonder how one can be assured of getting the small green edamame?!

Edamame are pretty bland, so don't expect an explosion of flavor. They're salted though, and they have a sort of nutty flavor, almost peanut buttery? But not quite. These are a great option if you need an on-the-go protein snack.

I am ordering this product regularly because it is a healthy snack and an easy way to add fiber to the diet. Edamame has more fiber than just about anything else around - and I need 30 grams of fiber a day because I am among the 50% of people over 60 who have diverticulosis. I have put the beans on salads or grabbed a handful to munch while watching t.v. I love the slightly salty crunch. Ordering edamame through Amazon costs less and is more convenient than buying from a local food store.

I'm so addicted to these, I wish they had a subscribe and save option available. Not only do they help me reach my daily protein goals, but the net carb impact is much lower compared to other nuts. It's probably the best in terms of protein to net carbs. I'll admit, taken by itself will make your mouth super dry, but just have a big cup of water nearby. For my work snack, I like to measure 2 servings in a sandwich baggie, add salt, generous pepper, and a teaspoon of coconut oil so the seasonings to stick. Then toss around to coat the seasonings and have at it! It's hard to resist eating more than 2 serving like this, so be warned and stay disciplined! You can also add sriracha to the baggie but then it starts to get messy (and soggy if left overnight).

It is a great health nut food, and a nice snack to munch on while going down the road (this from an OTR Truck Driver) and when you are done with it, you get a large plastic jar to store stuff in, I use one for pocket change.

This is an excellent product. It is a great trail mix food, or snack, or addition to salads, etc. For diabetics and other people who want to eat a nutritious, filling, NON-JUNK food without a high fat content, this is a great find! I take it on the road, on day hikes, and I always try to have a snack baggie in my purse or backpack for emergency needs. I am amazed this product is not in every natural foods store or natural foods section in grocery stores. It is a well-kept secret and I am glad I can order it on Amazon!

These make a nice rotation in my protein snacks. I use a 1/4 cup measure to divide them up into snack baggies for an easy pack snack on the run. I'm going to try rubbing off the skins and making clusters in skinny chocolate (coconut oil, cocoa powder, protein powder and stevia) for a Christmas candy. Mine came fresh and tasty.

I thought we would go through one a month of these things- which would make them rather expensive. But they are a lot more filling than expected, therefore a little goes a long way. That is very nice. These are lightly salted, and I would have liked a little more salt or maybe just a flavor of some kind. However, my husband adores them; just the way they are, hence 5 stars. He loves snack foods but not what they do to you and these are a lot nicer than most.

My husband & I are both vegan, and these dry-roasted Edamame beans are a good, convenient, in-between-meals crunchy snack that are also a good source of protein & fiber-- I get them in bulk in this huge jar to last longer (and it's cheaper than buying individual small bags; and if I want to take some on the road or to work with me or whatever, I just take some out of the large container and put it into a small, travel-sized tupperware), and it makes it handy to just reach into the jar to grab a few while I'm making dinner in the kitchen!

Not too much to say other than the edamame arrived as described. Perfect snack for work, sits on my desk, ready when the munchies are coming on. Love the all natural, healthy, crunchy snacking option this provides. Trying to keep label ingredients as low as possible: this has 2 ingredients, soy beans & salt. Now we're snacking! Appreciate the bulk version as my workplace is in a remote area meaning I don't have to go on the hunt for snacks all the time and pay out the wazoo for local smaller versions.
