I am one to not ever leave feedback for anything, but this is definitely one of those products that definitely deserves it. Long story short, I was a non-believer that this product would work in the way I wanted it to, figured it was wireless and would have a lag when it came to streaming. I have it connected to my receiver for the output and connected to my projector for input. I run my cable, Xbox one, Wii U, firestick through my receiver. No issues whatsoever with any of them and absolutely no lag. Wish I wasn't skeptical about it at first, would have saved me about $600 from paying someone to come over and run a crappy 50ft HDMI cable through my crown molding that would cut the signal in and out anytime I would watch a movie or play a game.(as well as messing up my crownmolding) If you doubt this product, don't! Learn from my mistake.

I've had this unit for 4 months now and I love it. I use this to broadcast PC games from my desktop that's roughly 40 feet away, with no walls, just some furniture in between. I was worried about putting the receiver unit inside my entertainment center behind a closed door, but I've tried it inside and out with no noticeable difference. It usually connects without any issue, but on occasion the screen will be black when I try turning on the PC but all I have to do to fix it is either unplug and re plug in the dongle on my PC or switch inputs on my receiver and switch them back. As for video quality, it looks pretty good on my 65" TV @ 1080p 30hz, but you can notice compression artifacts, especially if you look for them. Like all MPG compression, it is more noticeable in darker areas. Having said all of that, my wife has a hard time telling, unless I point them out. And when I get into a game and start playing it then I almost always forget that they're there. I've tried some other solutions and the Nyrius ARIES looks better than anything other than running a 50 foot HDMI cable to the TV. I still use Kainy to stream to my android tablet sometimes, but the quality on that is noticeably worse and occasionally cuts out.

We live in a 200 year-old house. I was looking at either a very expensive re-wiring job in our master bedroom, or running a lot of ugly cable along baseboards and around windows and doors to move the TV from one side of the room to the other. The ARIES product solved my problem easily and at a fair price. The equipment works fine, delivering high-quality picture and sound. By the way, I have it connected to an Xfinity DTA. My only complaint is that when it goes into sleep mode, it has flashing lights that are really annoying at night. So right now I have the sending unit covered with an old sock!

This thing is AMAZING. I have it in my room for my ceiling mounted TV and it works like a charm. My cable box is not obscured, but is on the side of the room. I believe there has to be a direct visual access between the two devices so it cant be hidden. However, this is so tiny and since it is black, it does not become an eyesore. I have only had my cable cut out a few times over the past few months and it has come right back on. Quality is perfect (I even have HD) worth the buy if your tv is in a difficult place.

What else is there to say? I wanted to make the TV in my office an additional screen for my Surface Tablet. I have a Surface Dock with two monitors already connected via the Mini-Display Ports, plus I was using the tablet screen. I wanted a FOURTH screen, not just another screen mirroring system. I purchased/installed this device (in under 5 mins), extended the display, played with the resolution I wanted and BOOOOM! Done! If you want an additional screen for your computer and don't want to run wires across the floor or threw the walls then this is a great option!

I installed this in my home entertainment closet about 12-15ft from the receiver near my TV and most of the time, it works flawlessly with the door closed. The door is perpendicular to the TV so the only object this is having to transmit though is the door and no denser walls. I do notice some pixelation on startup but this quickly goes away. If I'm standing in front of the closet, between the receiver and transmitter, I do start to experience pixelation. I also did have to install a 1ft HDMI extension to get the transmitter away from other devices in my closet which includes a range extender and smart Blu-ray, player both using Wifi. I can see how this device would be weak or not work with ranges greater than 15ft unless you can maintain line-of-sight which isn't a reality for most people but I'm happy with my purchase.

I previously bought the Google Chromecast, which I returned after problems with it locking up. After reading the reviews on this unit I purchased it and have been very happy with the purchase. Whatever is on your laptop screen appears on the tv in very good quality HD. The laptop adapter plugs into an HDMI port and has a USB power cable that is long enough to reach to the far side of the laptop. The TV adapter plugs into an HDMI port and has a 120v USB adapter to power the TV adapter. Both units get a little warm but don't heat up the plug at the laptop. I've now had this unit for 4 months and am very happy with it. No problems at all. November 2017 update. It's hard to believe I've been using this for almost three years. Still very happy with the purchase!

The items works very well. I initially boxed the item to return but decided to test a different TV location. If the receiver has too many interfering obstacles, the signal displays content for a few seconds then turns off. You have to determine where the signal works best. I had to adjust my original setup because this device worked better on a different wall. I am transmitting between 2 walls, between the kitchen and the garage (sheetrock and tile). I put the TV on the wall closest to the transmitter. After moving the TV and unit closer, the images is clear 1080P without remote control lag. I am using this unit with a fitTekĀ®Hdmi Splitter. This item saved me from needing at additional DirecTV box and power outlet. I'll purchase another box for the backyard TV to test out.

I am thoroughly impressed with this thing. I had initially snaked a ridiculously long HDMI cable around my living room from my TV to mirror my 15" Macbook Retina. It worked fine, but the cord was very finicky if it was touched at all on the Macbook side. I looked into these adapters and was set back by the price, but I managed to get a really good deal from a third party seller here on Amazon which helped me to take the plunge. Simply, it just works! I'm not one for directions, so at first I plugged it into the HDMI port and was wondering why it wasn't working, but I quickly realized that it doesn't get power from the HDMI port, so I had to plug in the USB Cable. Once I did that, boom, it worked instantly with no issues. I literally notice no difference from this device and my hard wired connection. I walked around my apartment a little bit and it didn't lose the signal at all. I walked into my office, left my laptop in there and came back out and noticed the signal didn't noticeably degrade at all. My office is about 20 or 25 feet away (around a corner and down the hallway). So, this is as advertised. The only recommendation for improvement is that it received its power from the HDMI port, but I'm sure that is simply a technical limitation due to the small amount of power that an HDMI port supply's compared to USB ports. One thing I noticed is that when my Macbook went to sleep, it didn't restablish the connection. I had to unplug the HDMI transmitter and plug it back into the laptop for it to work again. This doesn't warrant a star deduction in my opinion though.

Very pleased so far. I needed a screen mirroring setup for work. Other departments were using Clickshare, which was the first I'd seen of the technology. This is a much cheaper option that works well so far. I have a test setup in one conference room. If it holds up, I'll purchase 4 more for the Director's office and the other conference rooms. My only concern is that the little piece that plugs into the laptop gets hot quickly. I'm worried it'll burn itself out. Nice thing is that there is a right-angle adapter included with it so it doesn't have to lie flat against the table when inserted in the USB slot. That said, the adapter was not in use when in use for 6 straight hours and did not overheat/burn out. Easy to use, compact, easy to install, easy to teach others how to use.
