Ravenous Beasts

Three Year Old Pitbull and a Two Year Old Greyhound/bulldog mix. They get 2 dishes of this food a day. Lasts shortly under a month. Their poops have since become more solid (Thank Goodness). With Addison (grey/bull) and Axel (pit), we switched to wet dog food shortly after getting this dog food once. They liked it before, but they both grow tired of the same dog food quickly. Especially when we give them too much, or leave it out for them to graze. We switched to wet dog food, but it gets pretty expensive considering that it does not last long at all. Made the switch from expensive wet dog food to this one day. Addison waited patiently beside the bag when it arrived, remembering that this was her food. We have not switched back since. We will soon be getting this subscribed to us, since it works, is economical, and to cash in on bigger savings.

Finally a small breed formula

Previously I was using Purina One Small Bites Beef and Rice for my 16 pound Chorgi. He loves that good and I felt it was a solid good choice for him. I know many people who’ve fed dogs and cats Purina One their whole lives and the animal has been healthy and lived well into old age. I know this is not a super premium food. I have fed those and the only two improvements I’ve seen with them are smaller stool and softer fur. To me it’s not worth the high price tag since my dog doesn’t have any food allergies or health conditions. I’ve also used Pro Plan since they have the different small breed formulas. I was so excited when I saw that Purina One now has a Small breed formula I had to try it! The size of pieces is perfect for smaller jaws and my dog absolutely loves it. He’s got good energy levels and still nice and soft and shiny fur. I love the price. Will continue to buy on amazon.

Dogs Love This!

I subscribe to this product. It's delivered twice every month. We've been trying to find Beneful Healthy Weight, which I thought my dogs enjoyed. However, once they tried this, they wouldn't touch the other stuff! Since starting this food, they have a lot more energy, and their coats look great. I get a much better deal on this product from Amazon than I can even from my local Walmart. I love that it's delivered to my house right about the time I need more.

Four Paws Up for Purina One

I have four loveable pups ranging in size from a Lab mix down to a Chihuahua mix. My oldest and was raised on Purina ONE SmartBlend Dog Food. All my girls love their food and are happy, active, and healthy. As more and more advertising began appearing about the benefits of all the high dollar "premium" brands, I unfortunately was swayed. It was a big mistake! My dogs all became very gassy and even had the occasional accident in the house. No more changing for us!. They are back to gobbling up their Purina One:)

One-eyed mommy squeals with delight!

wretches come off Indian reservations horribly abused, shot, pregnant, poisoned with rodenticides etc. I give them the best I can afford. This Purina One smartblend is at the price point I can afford. Occasionally I get a donated bag from other sources, so I have multiple bags open and I get to perform side by sides. This Purina One stuff is preferentially selected by the animals during my informal experiments. So I am going to stay with it. I also like that it originates from a large facility that has effective quality control measures in place. Finally found a food I can afford somewhat.

One protein source, good for dogs with allergies

Only dry bulk food my dog can eat. He has multiple protein allergies and cant eat other kibble because they use multiple protein sources. Was about to have to resort to an expensive prescription-dog-food diet when we found this. So grateful we found a food that comes in bulk at a good price that doesnt make my dog scratch/bite/lick his skin off. Also comes in smaller bags, so we were able to try it without worrying about wasting our money on a giant bag of food our dog couldnt eat.

This product is Devine ,my 11 years poodle never eat dry food with any excitement on his life .it took him days to Finish his bowl . i tried many different expensive dog food like blue ,sceience diet ,royal canine .i got to tell u PURINA ONE put the shame on any brand . He infatuated with his food .he eat his bowl less than a mints . Thank u purina .

VET suggested and dogs LOVE

so we were trying to do what is best for our two babies (1yr and 1.5 yr old pit bulls). we were doing grain free b/c one has skin issues and we truly thought we were doing the best. our vet actually said that only 1% of dog are allergic to grains so no need to go grain free unless we truly know its an issue. yet a LOT of dogs have allergies to chicken in dog food. we were using chicken! we did the transition for both w/the vet suggesting the purina was good. she said its a trusted brand and all in the office use it. i love our vet clinic which has 4 docs who all love purina. so we did the switch this week w/ weening off the old food to this one. we are doing full purina tomorrow. our dogs act like they are addicted and we had old food on top of bowl and the purina on the bottom and they both dug to the bottom to get the new food. they LOVE it and yes, i have to add their poops are great too. we did the lamb and rice. big hit. will continue to use and its great to order from amazon for the delivery so i don't have to carry a 50lb bag in the store and then to the car and in the house, etc. we are very happy and our babies are very happy

Notoriously picky toy poodle - EUREKA!

My 1-year old toy poodle is notoriously picky. He has rejected every food I’ve given him. After getting so frustrated and reaching a stand-off, I have been giving him dry dog food (taste of the wild salmon flavor) mixed with wet dog food (nature’s promise chicken and brown rice flavor). He doesn’t love it, but he’ll eat it to survive. The vet has told me that he is too skinny, and although I try to tempt him with treats, he doesn’t like many of those either. The only treat he likes is pupperoni, which I know is bad for him. Enter this dog food. He WOLFS it down. My dog, my completely non-food-motivated dog, who would rather starve than eat a food he doesn’t like, LOVES THIS. I even use it as treats now, bc he likes it more than any of his treats. I will continue to buy this dog food as long as my dog lives.

Finally a dog food that my black lab mix goes crazy for!

I could never get my black lab mix to eat any food, We would put her food in her bowl at 7 am, she wouldnt eat it until around 2 pm, and for dinner we fed her at 6 pm, she wouldn't eat until midnight! But just recently she turned to an adult, and we bought this brand since it has high quality ingredients yet still fits our budget (and it has 97% good reviews on here and I have heard many more good things about this brand as well) So the day we started to slowly change her, she was dead asleep on her bed, it was 7 am, and I opened the bag, next thing you know she is right behind me eager for me to put 1/2 cup of it in her bowl (mixed with 1 1/2 cups of her old food). then as i watch her start to eat it, i notice she was spitting out the old food and only eating the bits of Purina! Also her coat is much more shiny, she has more energy, and her stool is more firm. We mixed in a probiotic with her new dog food to clear out her system and Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving was easy to dissolve right in her food. She enjoys it too and whenever she sees the bowl she gets very excited. These are excellent product. Thank you
