I've been using this for a couple of years now, and it really lives up to its name. Very low dust (awesome for my guy who's prone to urinary issues), great odor control (and I'll often forget to scoop it for a couple days), and it's flushable (and even septic-safe?) as long as you break down any giant clumps. One 28-lb bag lasts me longer than 40 lbs of Arm & Hammer Multi-cat, for around the same price. I started my cats with the (red) multi-cat formula to make sure they would take to it, mixing it half-and-half with the A&H and gradually adding more. Once they got used to it, I switched to the lavender, which has a really soft and pleasant scent (I'm not normally big on flowery fragrances). I also tried the pine-scented, but the odor-protection didn't seem as good. Combined with a sifting box, cleaning couldn't be much easier. Very happy with this product, especially when I can get it delivered straight to my door (sorry, mail-carriers).

So I got this litter in August and I had been using tidy cats for years but was looking for a natural alternative as I try to live as natural and cruelty free as possible. Well I haven’t had to change it at all and so far the longevity based on that I have 2 cats is holding up to be true so far! I have 2 boxes which I clean once a day, the thing I like most about this litter is that it clumps but doesn’t stick to the box like cement and the lavender scent really does help. Also it doesn’t produce dust which is nice and I’ve barely had to sweep around the box. Imagine your cat having to ingest all the chemicals in most litters to make them clumping and odor controlling, it honestly must mess with their insides and health. This litter is more expensive than some yes, but 1000000% worth it for your cats and it actually does what it claims.

This stuff is actually cheaper to use than, say, Tidy Cat. (Read below.) This stuff is outrageously good! Beats any other brand of kitty litter in every catagory. I used Tidy Cat for years... but no more. This stuff has virtually no dust. Absorbs odors wonderfully. Lightweight and very easy to scoop. It is biodegradable... you can even flush it down your septic system. (It's made from corn, I think.) Ok... is it really cheaper to use? Yes. You use far less of it than conventional clumping litter. It clumps wonderfully. It is light and easy shake through your poop scope... much less gets wasted by far! Also, the clumps don't break up while scooping so the pee smell doesn't just end up dropping back into the litter box... and building up into an awful accumulated ammonia-pee smell. The litter box stays much cleaner and, thus, less smell. So, don't hesitate because of the cost per bag, a bag goes much further and this stuff is really cheaper to use than the old stuff. We buy the fragranted version that smells wonderful. Yes, that's what I said.

I love this kitty litter, but something has to be done about the way it's packed and shipped! The kitty litter was spilling out of the shipping box and when I opened the box, it was all over. There was no packing material on the top or bottom, only a little around the sides. This picture is after I swept everything into a pile, but it got all over and on my other items in the box. I needed it, so I didn't return it and used what I swept up, but I shouldn't have to do that. Now about the kitty litter... I hate Tidy Cats, because it clumps as hard as a rock. Can you imagine what it does in your cat's stomach if they get some on their paws and lick it? World's Best is made from corn, so even though it does clump, it's not as harmful. I have no problem scooping it and it doesn't stick to the litter box. I love that I can flush it too! Another good thing is that it doesn't track all over the house! When I used Tidy Cats, I could hear the vacuum sucking up kitty litter all over the house, not just in front of the litter box. There is no way to stop cats from jumping out of the litter box, so I do have to sweep, but it's only a tiny bit. One bag lasts a long time too! I have 2 cats and it lasts at least 2 months. World's Best deserves 5 stars, but because the shipping is horrible, I have to give it 4. Update 1/31/2018: I was ready to order another bag, then saw the price jumped to $45 for the 28 pound bag! I only order it when it's around $25. Then it dropped to $26, but the shipping was no longer free and it was $8.99. I just found the regular scent 15 pound bag for $14 at Walmart, so I'm going to purchase it there from now on. I won't have to worry about the bag tearing during shipment either. Update 1/25/2019: I recently moved and can't find World's Best in nearby stores, so I had to order it from Amazon again. I ordered 3 bags and they each came in separate boxes The packing hasn't changed, but this time none tore! Maybe I got lucky, but I still LOVE the kitty litter, so I think it's only fair to give it 5 stars!

This is great stuff and even works for three adult cats and one (extra large) litter box. It weighs 28 lbs and I was tired of lugging the bag from the PetClub, so I "subscribed" and now it gets delivered to my door each month! It also ended up being considerably less expensive when you subscribe, so I'm saving around $8.00/month on litter! WooHoo! And don't worry that it has a heavy "fragrance". You get a little whiff of lavendar when you first scoop it into the box, but there is no lingering smell/odor/fragrance after a few minutes. Highly recommend not only this litter, but getting Amazon to do all the heavy lifting.

Facts: - I live in a studio apartment (550 sqft) with two adult cats. - I am never as timely with scooping their shared box as I should be. - I hate spending a ton of money on anything, especially on things my cats pee and poo on. So put those things together with my five-star rating, and you should see why it's time to stop reading this review and getting out your debit card. The lavender scent is light and pleasant, the cats like it, and it's by far the best litter I've ever used. The end.

We finally made the switch from the Cat Genie to regular litter and after extensive research, we settled on World's Best in the Lavender scent. We have one cat. She is a spayed female, 3 years old, and about 9 pounds. I scoop twice daily and change the box weekly with about 3 inches of litter in it. While I had never purchased litters for my cat at home, I have pet-sat and scooped many litter boxes with all sorts of litters. Pros: - Practically no tracking at all. She is a shorthair, however. A longhair cat may just track everything everywhere. We have the litter box on a rug which catches any residual litter from our kitty's paws. I never find it on her beds like I did with the Cat Genie litter. I am on my second 28 pound bag after switching from the Cat Genie. - Smells great. I only notice a bad smell if my cat has just taken a dump, which is obviously going to be the case with any litter. I literally never smell pee. But I do scoop no less than twice a day. Not sure how it'd be with more cats/scooping less frequently. - Totally flushable, but a big pee should be broken up into two pieces before chucking it in the toilet. We had a few close calls which required emergency plunging. - Pretty good clumping. By the end of the week, though, there's little pee-flakes that are too small for the scoop. Cons: - VERY dusty, but only when I pour for a new box. Like, I have to lock my cat out of the room 'cuz she has upper respiratory issues that I'm afraid will become irritated if she's around for new-litter time. The dust is not a problem after pouring. - My cat does not use the box for a whole day after I change it. The lavender smell is quite strong for that first day, which I think has something to do with it. I think I will buy an unscented litter next time. I still went 5-stars because this litter is made from a renewable resource, corn, but is just as absorbent as clay litters. It's also flushable. And I'm not kidding when I say no tracking. Just stick a little rug in front of the box and you won't have litter all over your house! Some say that it's bad to flush cat feces because cats can carry diseases like toxoplasmosis that can be transmitted to humans via poop. If you're going to flush your cats' waste, be sure they get their poop screened by a vet at least once a year so you know you're not spreading their cooties :-)

Love it! The grains are quite large, but they don't seem to bother the cat, they flush w'o incident and seem to be staying in the box better than other products we have tried. The scent is something between lavender, rosemary and basil...making the bathroom constantly smell a little like the herb garden. The scent uses essential oils and they don't seem to bother my cat's sensitive skin not to mention give the best odor control of any litter I have ever used. The clumps are not very tightly bound and I have to remove a lot of extra litter when I scoop, but it doesn't stink and it doesn't appear to be leaving soiled litter in the box so I am a fan of the product thus far.

I'm not going to go out of my way to write all this unless the product means something to me... I have 9 cats and if it wasn't for dumpster diving into petco I would not have tried this litter. Now and forever I dont see myself ever using anything else. Speaking about convenient its one of the most best selling points I could give you on. I have two closed lid and an open box, litters. The hooded have a catit charcoal filter for my catit jumbo box and I also give them grain free( call of the wild). Theres no smell in my house once someone goes and if its too overwhelming scent from a visit, I have a small hepa filter that clears the air in 10 min. Theres no smell for me other than the open lid and that source dissipates cause the litter is really absorbent. And boyyyyy does it last. I usually get rid of it by 2 weeks but theres been a time I had to go for 3 weeks and it made it close to a month on one 28 pound bag. That was an experiment done from a tight budget and i was surprised how long it held up before it had to be thrown out for sure. I've tried husk litter from diving as well and didn't like it for my pack. if I had a choice I would choose the green bag not the red or lavender cause the green one is not processed like the other two and it seems to have absorbed and lasted longer than all of them, within the 2 week time frame. I only buy the lavender one for the price and smell. If this smells really bad maybe you shouldn't be giving your cat Purina or corn in their diet. clean deposits leave hardly any smell and that's without the filter on. Does it have dust? yes but the same you would find on the face of a woman with foundation. meaning its not going to be airborne but it will leave their paws lightly powdered. If you want something that is dust free try Walnut Husk Litters. Much more absorbent than the Newspaper/Recycled Paper Litters, but Husk Litters arent as long lasting as this litter. The walnut husk I could recommend for someone that wants 'dust-free' and has 2 cats maximum as preference for that product is more to the benefit of the owner rather than the pet. As for me with this product, its a night and day experience when dealing with 3 litters of clay and the dust that picks up from me scooping compared this product. I don't have to put my shirt over my face from the dust, while I clean. THAT made me a forever customer the minute as well as the smell is pleasant(for me the smell lasts close to a week before it balances out.) Basically the lavender and the green bag is the best litter Ive ever tried and save from letting your cat go in your backyard, its the best litter in the world. Not paid or sponsored. qualifications? 9 cats. SideNote. Litter companies save the good stuff for the small bags and for retail stores but for bulk like amazon sometimes the bottom of the "sillo" or their holding pen has the bottom settlements added. That's why I've noticed some people say its so dusty but it was like that for me with clay litters and I had to not get it from different sellers on Amazon cause the results are the same. Retail stores were always consistent with the level of dust on their large bags. That being said I have yet to have a 'bad' bag that was more dustier than other ones with this company. All the bags have been consistent. This is from personal experiences stemming from the ripped bags gotten during the petco diving's and the ones bought from Amazon.

This stuff is the best! I've tried every brand of clay clumping litter out there. My sister-in-law gave me a bag to try and I'm hooked! The price seems a little high, but I did some calculations and this is actually BETTER price wise because it *lasts*! 2 cats, both on wet food only, so lots of 'going. 1 bag lasts me well over a month. So much easier to scoop than clumping clay litter. The lavender is nice, too! I'm not going back to the so called "easy clumping" clay litter that always leaves pieces and feels like you need a jackhammer to get the clumps out, only to have them fall apart halfway to the garbage. 5 paws!
